These are the faces of scared cats who came from a hoarding situation. Living in unsanitary conditions, the frightening experience of being trapped, then thrust in cages in the shelter - their lives, all they ever knew to be “home” was completely taken away. And they cannot go back to a hoard house, so they sit in the shelter, awaiting death. But you can change their lives for the positive. These semi feral/feral cats are looking for new homes. Feral cat rescues can help set them up with you in a new home that can give them access to both the indoors and outdoors, as they were used to, while providing them food, water and shelter. Often these cats may thrive on a farm, or in a barn or on a property that gives them a place to be safe and hide, and stay warm during cold nights. They aren’t necessarily seeking companionship, though some may learn to enjoy humans. Most of all, they each need a compassionate person willing to offer them a safe place to co exist with them and live out their lives. They will be vaccinated and microchipped under sedation and spayed/neutered. If you can offer one of these hoarding cats a new home rather than death at the shelter, please message us. 😺😺😺😺😺 Moreno Valley Animal Shelter 14041 Elsworth Street, Moreno Valley, CA 92553 951-413-3790 PUBLIC EMAIL/GENERAL INFO: [email protected] RESCUE EMAIL: [email protected] Open Tuesday - Saturday (closed Sunday, Monday and holidays) Tues.-Fri. 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. #feralcats #feralcatsofinstagram #feral #feralcat #liveferal #feralcatsneedlovetoo (at Friends of Moreno Valley Shelter Animals) https://www.instagram.com/p/BxqB4DCBoAA/?igshid=2fz7klgthi7n
