my goal during christmas break was to start planning/writing a terror inspired dnd adventure and because of the way I'm designing it I now have to decide on dnd classes for the terror characters that will be PCs in the adventure. so, I'm looking for opinions! please add any additional thoughts in the tags as well.

(the dnd classes don't have to be an exact match as I have lots of homebrew mechanics but I want sth to model the basics on and get a feel on abilities/style/narrative potential basically)
