Biggest simp being Macaque and Azure
I love how they similiar yet the not same. Like even as vilain Azure talk highy of Wukong and that he was hurt by Wukong action but never once talk down of Wukong other than think Wukong as traitor. While Macaque love to talk down of Wukong calling him bad mentor and all while still going after Wukong.
Too bad that Azure as always view as home wrecker between Wukong and Macaque and that's all. In my opinion Azure is little better
For snake dude we didnt have much time expect for that that scene of Xiangliu talking about their "past" relationship and Xiangliu stopping Wukong and Macaque holding hand which is sad because Im PoisonPeach biggest shipper here (I think) 🧍🏼.
Other villain that be consider as ex is Spider Queen and Lady Bone Demon (hot women) like Spider Queen really just piss with Wukong and during her revenge try her best to get Wukong attention. Lady Bone Demon almost the same as when first she's out of box all she halusinate is Wukong dispite looking at MK. Also I love the fact that LBD almost have similiar story line as Wukong.
(My memory of the show is a bit selective since I'm rewatching it again and it's been mix up a lot because of the few AU'S that I enjoy being fused with my memory, sorry if some of them is wrong or didn't make since.)
It's true over the fact they all have a thing with Sun Wukong, the guy is just oblivious if you ask me.
Well it's true that Azure didn't talk down much about Sun Wukong, he kinda call or implied to him as a lapdog for the Celestial Realm (I found translation or seen about it by others watching in different languages) and basically telling MK that loyalty towards the Great Sage Equal to Heaven is nothing more than a fraud that will disappointed him even further. He also tried and told the audience he will kill Sun Wukong, along with challenging his immortality. He also tolerates and put Wukong in a high pedestal in the show, no it's not grooming, it's basically just him gave Wukong a high expectations that will cause the downfall of the brotherhood and him not seeing Wukong as an equal and more like a God that will bring prosperity to all species in the universe.
The Six-Eared Macaque and his relationship with Sun Wukong however... Is the literal definition of misunderstanding and self-worth that gotten a bit to much out of hand. As much as the fandom believe that the past shadowpeach is a lot... Better, than the now are honestly don't get how unhealthy it was, Macaque literally tell the audience and MK that the brotherhood all of them mind you, are literally in the path of self-destruction. Along with the first time we meet him, he lied and always keep being more bias in the subject of Sun Wukong life choices as it now. In the past he warned others but they don't listen because he tolerated not being listen, I believe one of the reason his seen as cowardly by Peng is given the fact that he doesn't voice out his mind and the fact he tolerated Wukong mindset of being "obsessive demon" in terms of seeking power, and yes I know he told him to stop, but the guy just let him continue because he feared being hated by Wukong just because he initiates a healthy conversation and shown of concern (this is my HeadCanon by the way) and that Wukong brush off those said concerns.
Also the image he have of Sun Wukong being a "worse mentor" along with being "a peach lazing idiot" is bias if you ask me, yes Wukong is lazy but saying that made me blink a lot in the show, cause what do you mean the guy who literally travels in many places making plans with back up plans and more back up plans, when things go south is lazy? And being said he sees Wukong as a horrible mentor to MK and not the fact he is the most worse between the two, yes Wukong is not the best, but MK learned a lot from him and growing to be stronger and more confident in his own moves and able to protect himself from fights, unlike someone... Macaque... This also can be said that he was the first to attack not Wukong, in their fights in the show, and honestly this two starts to get better... In the definition of baby step may I remind you.
Yes, the mystery snake chaos guy Xiangliu. The guy with the answers and questions we will never know until next season, honestly like the guy, his not that bias towards Wukong and basically just told him about their past relationships like an ex one at that, and honestly he knows something that the cast doesn't knows even Wukong cause he doesn't "remembers" in the subject of Chaos along with the birth of MK, and the guy literally and honestly look disappointed when Wukong didn't remember and immediately change the topic to get away from said topic (is that yearning I see?). This two have chemistry and history and if shown more in the show could rival perhaps shadowpeach in terms of shipping Wukong with 2 of the dramatic asshole in the show.
In Spider Queen part honestly, I kinda see it one sided because of one official art (I'm not sure if official thought) while SQ give a kiss to Wukong and him backing away from it and true in the whole want to get Wukong attention (I think) and the fact SQ didn't put Wukong permanently in the center of her mech and remember Wukong is a lot powerful than DBK mind you... Also the damn flirting, what's that huh?!
Lady Bone Demon the woman you are, you can just leave the weak child body and make Wukong your host, but instead possessed him using the many souls your own thral have found and consume in your years of absent and laugh in the most glee and happiness you're been in able to have him. I felt like one of those reason she revives Macaque and let him seek his revenge and didn't bother if the shadow monkey was gone because she can sense and know what said monkey is doing, planning to kill Wukong and let him, she didn't even want the Great Sage to die in the show well the whole erase from existence part is there so..., and Macaque said that his handing them over LBD not their dead body just them alive. And the fact she's able to understand and knows that part of MK before finally dying (YES!!! FINALLY!!!) is a part that Wukong also have in him.
Girl, I'm not surprised at this point. The only problem I have is the lack of Wukong point of view in the show at this point there's a high chance his gonna die in the formidable future.
