I'm debating on who I want to take Wukong's place in season three and get possessed by LBD.

Wukong still goes off to fight her, just someone else gets possessed.

Macaque's been possessed all season long, until the Samadhi Fire freed him, so could be a just got free then got dragged back in, probably to protect one of the kids from getting possessed.

And it could also be MK or Chao-Xing because they try to stop Wukong with Nezha like in canon, and make themselves prime targets on the battlefield, especially with the deal LBD and Mac first made. Whichever gets possessed leaves the other twin stuck with Macaque and all his dramama nd Wukong actively manipulating the situation and also Sandy.

Or they could both get possessed and force Macaque to work with Wukong to free them, and it's even more complicated because Sandy is still there.

Rumble and Savage are off the table they are babies (9) and their bestie already got possessed so they wouldn't be much stronger than her in LBD's eyes.
