Here are some to start with: B is for Blackbird, a common true thrush, Turdus merula, found in woods and gardens over much of Eurasia, and introduced elsewhere. Can be found in urban parks, yards, gardens. D is for Dove. Members of a dove family can be found almost everywhere on the globe. The most common represented is a Rock dove and most probably you already saw them today. G is for Goldfinch, a small passerine bird in the finch family that is native to Europe, North Africa and western Asia. To find it, you should look carefully in your local park or forest. W is for Woodpecker. Members of this family are found worldwide, except for Australia, New Guinea, New Zealand, and Madagascar.
