A long day since i haven't started posting about my fandom, that's because i've been working on a Tagalog Logography script. I just learned yesterday that my native language is a very Agglutinative language, so I decided "What if those Tagalog affixes and particle words became radicals for the root word? What if i turned every word into a logogram?" So i started using Gemini (from Google) to help me with the logogram design and create a chart of affixes and particle words to make sure i don't miss one:
Btw the logography is called 'Chelleng'
And my mission for the design of the logograms is to make them look natural, like the symbols started from a pictogram, then evolved to be what it looks like today, just like chinese characters here's an example (let's take the Cheleng character for read/bása):
1.) It's original form (Pictogram):
At its original form, it's a pictogram of a person reading, you can see the book, the hands, and the head.
2.) First evolved form:
At its first evolved form, the head got split and connected with the body and now looks like an X, the hands became short lines but the book didn't change.
3.) Second evolved form:
At its second evolved form, the head and the body lost their curve and got straightened, while the book lost its sharp turn and became curved, and the hands were slanted a bit against the book.
4.) Final/Present form:
At its final form, the head and body are still the same, but the book and the hands changed, the book got straightened and the hands too.
That's what i wanted for my characters to have, a Story. So that's all!
:)
