"That ends our lesson on 'Duo Magic'. For homework, I wish to see a five-hundred-word essay on the types of magic that can be duo-ed and also a brief summary of what we have covered in class today," Perseus stated before tapping the board with his staff. Immediately, the letterings melted away to reveal the emptiness of the board, as clean as if no one had touched it.
The quietness of the classroom was engulfed by the busy chattering and laughter of the students. Groans from exhausted students went unheard; many considered this class to be half-heaven, half-hell. It had been a long, information-filled lesson today, not that any of his lessons weren't like that. Perseus flicked his wrist and his classroom cleaned itself, grumbling under his breath as he spotted leftover stationery, forgotten by careless teenage mortals. His wintery magic danced around the classroom; the chilly breeze lifted the dust and flicked it into the trash can. Chairs were automatically dragged in, gently clicking against the table when the woods met. His beloved classroom was clean once more.
Slow, but steady footsteps echoed against the ice-covered floors. Perseus watched with an indescribable look in his eyes as two interesting, yet starkly contrasting students exchange a look before heading his way. The god hummed as he pressed a hand under his chin before staring into two pairs of eyes - one covered with a guarded wall around his soul while the other had eyes of steel that hid the lonely soul.
"What can I do for you, Mr. Rosehearts and Mr. Ashengrotto?"
✧༺♥༻∞
Riddle fiddled with his fingers as Professor Lokison stared at him. There was something unnerving about his gaze - as if he was able to see further into his eyes and then scan his own soul.
"Professor Lokison," Riddle began. "I feel...weird recently."
The professor hummed as he leaned against his desk, gesturing for him to continue.
"Ever since you began teaching 'Duo Magic' for the past week, my fire-oriented spells have been acting...peculiar," Riddle closed his eyes. Within his soul, he felt the flames flicker and cackle, even more than usual with Azul Ashengrotto by his side. It urged him to work together with the sly businessman, although Riddle had absolutely zero intentions of getting closer and working together with him. "Around Azul, they seem to...be alive. They perk up whenever I'm around him."
Riddle's eyes widened as a sudden thought came to him that he never pondered upon.
"Don't tell me that I'm in love with him!"
Azul whirled around with an equally panicked look on his face. Riddle's statement seemed to make sense, well in his opinion.
"According to studies, a fluttery feeling means that you are in love!" Riddle heard Azul gasped and grasped the edges of the table. Pleadingly staring into Professor Lokison's eyes, the silver-haired student begged out: "Professor, tell me it isn't true."
Professor Lokison was silent before a strange noise came out of his mouth. He faced the side, hands raising to block his mouth as Riddle realized - he was chuckling.
Why?? Can't you see Riddle is in distress?!
"Mr. Rosehearts, Mr. Ashengrotto," their professor chuckled. Strangely, Riddle could sense that their usually-glacial teacher was much more warmer right now. He folded his fingers over each other, facing them with a miniscule smile on his lips. "Rest assured, you two are not in love. Although..."
A mischievous glint could be seen in their professor's eyes. "Might there be something you haven't shared?"
"Of course not!"
"Never!"
The two students spat out, eyeing the other with hidden malice. Riddle's fingers tightened around each other before their professor spoke again.
"How curious...you say your flames feel more alive and potent, Mr. Rosehearts?" He hummed, tapping his fingers against the desk. His eyes, seeming more like shards of ice, faced Azul. "And I presume your water-based spells have a similar reaction, Mr. Ashengrotto?"
Azul nodded.
"It's like whenever I cast them, they feel more powerful," The silvernette explained. "Around Riddle, they tug at me to...be together with him?"
Riddle felt a grimace take over his mouth. Does the self-proclaimed, sly businessman not have any other words instead of 'be together'??
Professor Lokison coughed, successfully gaining their attention once more. He leaped off the table before reaching for his staff.
"If the two of you would stand behind me," He spoke before lifting his staff. Riddle and Azul's eyes widened before doing as told, exchanging hidden glares as they were forced to "huddle" together behind their teacher. Riddle felt himself get colder the more he was closer to Professor Lokison; a strange chill enveloped his body. Goosebumps raised across his skin.
Professor Lokison stabbed his staff into the ground and with gasps, Riddle watched as the entire classroom transformed into a clear space; the walls were covered in a frosty layer of ice while the floors remained their glacial appearance. There was no desk or chair in sight, it was as if they had melted away.
"This is..." Azul breathed out. "extraordinary."
Riddle saw their teacher smirk before he leaned his staff against the table. He snapped his fingers before two dummies appeared, roughly a few meters away.
"I'd like you two to cast your strongest respective elemental spells and observe what would happen," Professor Lokison lectured.
Taking a deep breath in, Riddle and Azul simultaneously cast the greatest spell in their inventory. Roaring, scarlet flames escaped from Riddle's ruby pen while ocean waves crashed out from Azul's lavender pen. They collided in mid-dance, swirling around each other like a dance. Steam hissed as the flames and waves approached one another and the room suddenly felt more humid.
"My word..." Azul breathed out, hands slack against his sides. Riddle echoed his shock and sentiment. In all his years, he has never seen such a thing...it was awe-inspiring.
Clapping brought them out of their awe-induced stupor. They snapped their head to their professor and to add to their shock, he was smiling.
"This was beyond my expectations," Professor Lokison gave them a smile. "Mr. Rosehearts, Mr. Ashengrotto, you have unlocked a rare spell technique - duo magic."
"Duo-Magic?" Riddle mumbled. "Like what you have been teaching us?"
Their professor nodded. "It seems as if your powers have grown to a point that they are able to not only be casted, but pull on the other person's magic to enhance their strength. With this technique, the amount of magic strain on your body is lessened, as well as the amount of blot accumilated will decrease."
"But I would have to work with...him," Azul turned to Riddle. The ruby-haired student could see an eye twitching but he hid it well with an emotionless face. Riddle, too, scowled, crossing his arms and let out a little huff.
Professor Lokison frowned.
"You two have the potential to combine forces. Don't let your silly rivalry get in the way of true greatness. Take it from someone who's lived centuries."
Riddle tightened his grasp on his pen, making up his mind.
"Azul," He forced out. Holding up an arm, a part of him laughed at the shocked look in Azul's eyes. "I will put away any hatred and malice feelings I have towards you. And I assure you, I will do my best to peacefully work with you so we can grow our potential."
A business-like smile grew on Azul's face before he shook Riddle's hand. His grip was strong, Riddle thought.
"It's a deal, Riddle," Azul smirked.
Professor Lokison let out a loud laugh. For some reason, these two youngsters reminded him so much of Loki's and Thor's rivalry, and that thought made him feel more at home in this strange world.
"Can I expect you two to meet me in my classroom every Monday for practice?"
"Of course!" They chorused before glaring at each other from the side.

The Mighty Valkyries #5 (2021)
- The Mighty Valkyries (2021), I take it back, current incarnation Loki still a shitty father/grandfather figure all things considered.
Though his grandson does morph into his wolf form so large that HE EATS A MOUNTAIN AND A DRACOLICH. And that’s not his full power or size.
So yeah, maybe Loki has a point...but said-grandson is still an innocent soul who didn’t even kill anyone after being released from the hole he was chained in since he was a pup. Hell he even lets Loki go after swallowing him! A ‘make-your-own-monster’ situation if there was any.
Not sure how I feel that Marvel hints that Jane Foster and More are interested in each other. I know she and Thor aren’t a thing anymore, and she’s a Valkyrie, but uh, the conversation of being interested in the grand-nephew of your ex Thor, is...beyond complicated at that point.
“You’re finally home” / “I’m finally home” from the prompt list? Please 🥺 💕

Loki MasterList

It had been forever since Loki had been home with you, it felt like forever it had one been a few months. He had gotten called off by Stark and the team to help with a rescue mission. It had given you enough time to come to the fact that you were pregnant, that you were carrying his child.
You heard the Quinn jet land in the bay as you jumped up to your feet. Your heart raced. What would he say? You had never talked about kids, then again you never really said anythjng to prevent it from happening either. You ran up the stairs two at a time. As you walked into the opening he was getting off of the jet.
He stopped when he seen you taking a small step back there was no mistaking the small bump that had started to grow under your shirts. You could see tears spring to his eyes, his hair whipped around his face. Thor came behind him and shoved him forward with a huge smile on his face.
You took a step forward followed by another before you realized you were running to him jumping into his arms. You clung to him as if he would disappear and buried your nose into his neck and cried. His arms encircled your waist as he pulled you as close as he could like he was trying to make you one.
"You're finally home." You cried still holding onto him.
"Yes my queen, I'm finally home. I dont plan on leaving anytime soon either." He placed his hands on either side of your face and kissed the top of your head.
"If you haven't already guessed, I have some news." You smiled up at him, taking and plackng his hand on your belly.
"Its not very hard to miss. You look beautiful as always though my queen." He smiled back before dropping to his knees to kiss your bump. "I love you more than life my child." He whispered.
"Lokison." You tucked a peice of hair behind his ear looking down at him with a smile.
"Lokison." He whispered happily.

Warnings: adorableness and Jötun Loki. There's a little bit of angst but honestly it doesn't compare with what's to come so idk if it's even worth it putting it here.
A/N: There are some dialogues in old norse, and some words are not translated directly in the text for fluidity of the narrative, so if you can't guess it for context, you can find all definitions in this list https://oldnorse.forumotion.com/t8-basic-phrases, which is a short list that I used SO MUCH, even in season 1.
Credits to whoever did this amazing gif. Sorry Idk who you are.
“Narfi! Come on, man, it’s not funny like this!”, complained Peter as he searched through every single place his nephew could’ve hidden for the fifth time. “You’re not supposed to use magic to hide, dude!”.
“What’s the matter, Pete? You lost my kid?”, you teased him while reading the news and sipping a cup of coffee. Loki could not hide his smirk when he saw the wide-eyed panic face washing over Peter’s face.
So we know how Narvi and Vali could be like Thor and Loki of the next generation but what about their cousins? What about a super-done Magni and his sister who idolises Brunnhilde and the Valkyrie? The four of them meeting and rolling their eyes when the adults start to reminisce about the good old days of Asgard.

Delirium of the Wolf.
Darkness, so deep. So hard to breathe. Help me, Father! The chains keep me. It was supposed to be a game, it was supposed to be fun. Tyr, I’m sorry, I was just afraid. The earth shakes and I know my father suffers, why hasn’t Thor saved him? Is Thor okay? Has the battle started without me? Soon they’ll come back for me, soon my chains will be undone. Soon. Soon. Soon.
Preface:
Long ago in the holy realm of the Aesir gods, and their village of Asgard, before Svadilfari was hired to build walls worth of the god village, three children were born to the Jotnar Loki, blood brother of Odin, and the wise woman Angerboda. Powerful, wonderous children, triplets fated to rend the very core of the world tree. Jormungandr, Hela, and Loki’s first born son, Fenrir.
Often lovers, Loki and Angerboda split soon after the birth of their children, but as a token of their love Angerboda agreed to allow Loki his firstborn son to reside in the Asa realm that Loki was so fond of. Ages passed, and the children of Loki grew, never seeming to stop. Jormungandr felt the call to the seas, where he could grow outside the sight of the gods. Hela was granted her own realm as domain; no one is quite sure how she managed to convince the Allfather to grant that boon. The Eldest son, Firstborn Fenrir the Asa-warg grew proudest of all, mighty on the field of battle alongside the Aesir. Fostered with the First Asa king, Tyr, who taught the wolf god the secrets of fighting and walking like a man.
Unknown to Fenrir, Tyr, and his father, Odin Borson the wandering King of Asgard, performed a dreadful resurrection of a Volva, a Seeress, who told Odin of ancient secrets and futures sins, and of a truly awful battle, a war that will shake the world tree to the core and be the end of the gods. A prophecy with Fenrir at its heart.
With his dark secrets, the Allfather returned to the Asa village with machinations, and schemes. The Allfather began testing the wolf, sending him to die in increasingly dangerous missions, only to hide his frustrations behind toasts to the Lokison’s might. When it was evident that the wolf could not be slain by mere troll or even dragonfire, Odin then began crafting magic chains and cages to restrain and banish his bane. Time and time again the proud wolf broke his chains and the Aesir began calling him Fenrir Chainbreaker.
“Nothing can bind me!” the Wolf would boast.
“Nothing?” Asked the dwarfs of Svartalfheim when the blacksmiths had failed Odin too many times.
“We have bound him in all the strongest metals and alloys known to the gods.” Odin explained his plight, “Nothing can hold that which I need in bindings most.”
To this Sindri of the Ivaldi clan had a terribly clever glint in his eye, “What we need is a chain that isn’t. If nothing can hold the wolf then we make a chain out of nothing!”
And so the dwarfs got to their craft, collecting all the materials that didn’t exist to fashion their rope that needed to be made out of nothing, and many tales will claim roots of a mountain, the spittle of a bird, the beard of a woman, but the reality is beyond the explanations of men, barely understood by the dwarfs and utterly unknowable to the gods who above all else are beings of consecrated reality.
Open, the sons of Ivaldi named the ribbon, or Gleipnir, as came to be known to the men who settled in northern Midgard. Open was passed from Sindri to Odin, who called an assembly of the great asa warriors gods who became renowned to the tribes of men, his sons Thor, Baldr, and Heimdallr, Tyr but not Loki.
“Great Wolf.” Odin spoke merrily, “Today I have a new test of your great strength, a chain even you will certainly be unable to break free from!”
But the wolf looked upon Open and found a deep unease within, as the chainless chain looked no more than a simple ribbon. Fenrir knew already he was trapped, at least in one sense. The great Aesir warriors looked upon Fenrir and Open with some confusion, an amused befuddlement and he hated them for it. The wolf looked into Odin’s eye and knew the Allfather challenged not only his strength but also his pride. “I will allow myself to be tied in your newest binds, Allfather.”
Odin grinned, “Wonderful, Thor, Baldur take the ch-”
Fenrir growled and the Asa gods held stiff, “If, one of you places your hand in my mouth. I shall rest your forearm between my teeth tight but without breaking skin, and when I break free I shall release.”
The gods stood, silent, stoic and showing no emotion.
“No volunteers? Why not, this is but a sporting game?” The wolf grinned.
“I will do it.” Tyr uttered.
Thor’s stoicism split to a wide grin, “That’s the spirit!”
Fenrir relaxed, “Then...let us begin.”
