it's so funny to think about how would Erik and Charles' phones/social media look like. Charles would change his wallpaper every few months, have pictures of his friends saved with their phone numbers (Erik's would be saved as "Love💗💞😊"), his instagram would be frequently updated an the most aesthetic thing ever. and Erik? Erik has everyone saved as their full government name (Charles as "Charles F. Xavier"), no photos on any social media, just reposting other people's politically radical posts, his wallpaper is the factory one (until Charles takes his phone and changes it to their photo). also nobody told Erik that you don't put . at the end of each text (he also can't use emojis properly)

Just because you’re part of an oppressed party does not mean you cannot hold bias against other groups or members of your own group. Bias is learned and ingrained through society and family and it takes real work to unlearn it. No one is perfect, no one is without bias and you are in fact going to fuck up now and again—what matters is if you learn from it and grow.

I just want to say, I've been in love with someone I've dated for 3 years, we're soulmates in almost every way, we very much love each other to death. We had to separate about two months ago because we have very different political views and it was interfering too much with our relationship and future. We didn't quite part ways, and we very much spend every moment of our day together, occasionally sleep together, go to the movies and go to cafés and talk about everything and anything.

We did talk about the fact we're still in love but that love is not enough. Not in this case.

Yesterday we decided to join a chess club secretly. It's our little thing. We go to the club and play chess at night, nobody else knows we do this and much less that we do it together. We drink coffee and play and learn new things. She loves chess. I love her. It works wonderfully.
