Forbidden Dirt Fact: In California you can get an infection called Valley Fever from breathing in fungi particles while digging in the dirt. Valley fever has the potential to be deadly.

Obscure fact: Lake Superior has tons of dead bodies trapped in shipwrecks. A lot of them are very well preserved because of the low temperatures!

Finally, I think that fake archaeology is dangerous. Not just because it misleads the general public, but also because it’s often deeply rooted in racism or anti semitism. Just say no to pseudoarchaeology.

If remus is a masshole, he's one of the really subtle ones, right up 'til you realize where he's from because he's out of the blue done something so egregious that he couldnt be anything else.

LOL good point. Maybe he just drives like one. On the one hand he definitely comes from a different social class than Sirius, who is a real urban blue blood, and it’s fun to point up that difference, especially Sirius is 100% ashamed of his horrible family. On the other, it’s hard to imagine Remus being your typical Masshole, and his whole personality is predicated on being a mild, even-tempered man who about once a year just fucking goes off.

SH still remains in my top five fanfictions of all time, but imagining you doing this Sam is hilarious. I *really* hope you're planning to update us on how the "turning it into an original story" is going to go.

Well, we’ll see how far I get. it is kind of nice to be rewriting something old rather than having to write something entirely new, but the further in I go, the less I can depend on the source. But yeah I will update as I proceed!

Lingeringly and degeneratively; with his family and friends watching. Helpless to keep them from grieving, useless in keeping up with the fight, unable to protect himself or anyone else as he feels he ought to. If you like, it worsens with stress, so those friends and family that he has start editting the things they tell him, for his own good. He dies, betrayed by good intentions, a martyr to the slow creep of time and illness, suffocating in his own failing body.

hiii its ‘painting graves !’ but like... shortened. id originally chosen “painting mr graves” but paintingraves works well. 

painting bc me LOVES painting and drawing and doing anything creative and pretty - Graves because well we all know why Graves - and also painting is “peindre” en français which makes me think of “dépeindre” which is like depicting... depicting someone, painting someone, drawing a portrait of which is basically what i’ve been doing for the past two years. painting our dear mr graves with words.

So, Director, since Seraphina Picquery's term ends in '28, do you imagine Gellert will wait for the chaos of the administration shift--or has he finished with America altogether? In the case of the first, am I addressing the future President of MACUSA? I imagine there's little that can't be done from such a lofty perch, given that Picquery takes a blithe view of loosening tongues.

I wouldn’t know what Gellert Grindelwald plans but he should be anticipating that we will find him and arrest him before he gets too much further with his ‘cause’. When Seraphina eventually retires from her position, I will not be running for office. I’am extremely happy right where I’am and I will serve alongside the next President.Gellert doesn’t need to wait for a shift in administration. Not with me working alongside him. We don’t need to take MACUSA to gain control of America, and the ultimate goal is to disband MACUSA alltogether.  I’ve never wanted to be President although Vice President of the World does sound appealing. No matter what happens, I will remain be Gellerts side.
