Finding our Personal “Picture Perfect” Pace to Creating our Next Steps A recent post from an old acquaintance reminded me of the importance of putting one foot in front of the other every single time. Not just stepping forward but doing the work and stepping forward in Faith. Not just wandering around aimlessly but being GOD-led. Being intentionally led doesn’t just become a game-changer; it’s a life-changer. (*Try it next time.) [“It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.” ‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭22:33‬ ‭NIV‬‬ https://2samuel.bible/2-samuel-22-33] In our lives, having bravery and boldness can sometimes seem daunting. But, when we feel knocked down, these attributes carry more than enough weight to help build us back up and see us through as we each do our own part. [“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭NIV‬‬ https://philippians.bible/philippians-4-13] Through Grace, Faith, and our own personal relationship with God, we will continuously be lifted up time and time again to stand tall and be held “perfectly” strong. I hope these tidbits get your mind processing, soul jumping, feet dancing, and heart ready to take action. Imagine the newer life YOU WILL LEAD. Eagerly anticipate what’s to come!!! “But, where do I start?” - you might ask. Right where you are; in the here and now with all of your struggles, pain, and maybe even some regrets. We cannot change our past, but we can certainly brighten and strengthen our future. KEY * Take stock of where you are now. You don’t need to have it all figured out to take the first/next step. * Consider where you might want to be. There is learning-potential and room for growth in making a slight turn along your journey. * Start to mend broken pieces in your life until they become whole. Build a relationship with God, study the Bible, find a local church, invest in life counseling, join a peer support group. **Meditate on one of Castle Church’s values - “testify of our brokenness made whole” (Castle Church, n.d.). * Find the power in your pain/in your past to help others with similar situations along the way. * Begin/continue to experience your “Nevertheless” moments - “The moments in your life story where God changes everything (Castle Church, n.d.).
