Vixey is a 3-year-old, female, long haired, Dachshund/German Shepherd mix weighing about 20 lbs. Vixey has a long body is short to the ground like a Dachshund or Wiener dog. Vixey is a shy girl, she has ran from everyone who has spotted her already, please do not chase her. If sighted, lay down on the ground and let her come to you, we do not want to chase her further away or into the road. Vixey went missing after bolting out the front door, she went through the middle of the pet sitters leg and took off. Vixey’s family is absolutely devastated and is doing everything possible to get this girl home, please call with any information or sightings. So this happened today...while walking today with my on foot crew we encountered 2 dogs off leash that ran right into our pack and caught us all by surprise! Luckily nothing happened. However we where fortunate nothing happened it could've gone horribly Bad! While these dogs where nice we did not know them, we saw them go into a nearby backyard and figured that's where they lived. Nobody was outside supervising them... thankfully for us they didn't follow us and no harm came to our crew.
