posted this to forums with no replies LOL but had an idea
What if nests had equippable vistas? Or - different skins depending on where in a domain you live? My clan is near The Source in Lightning - so of course, any electrical discharge produced by eggs gets rerouted for experimental purposes.
In a richer locale like our capitol the Turrets of Goldenspire, eggs are kept in luxurious rooms - fancy tiles, planters, etc. Also, as the lairs get progressively more affluent their nests similarly have more sophisticated/elegant methods of static dissolution.
Little idea I'm playing around with for the Galaxy Girl art style and art works. Haven't really implemented it yet it's just a concept. Idk I kind of like it it's kind of fun.
In summary cuz this was described a little vaguely the idea is:
Children only have eyelashes when they are being mature or adult. (Often in ways they shouldn't have to be).
Adults always have lashes but when they allow themselves to be silly or embrace their inner child the lashes disappear.
It's just a concept idk if I'll do it or not but if I did what do you think? :)
“Lynx, have you ever wondered what happened to the Dawnbreaker and Duskbreaker,” Elise asked the green Elysian.
“You mean the blades from legend? Weren’t they wiped out with the Aurorans?”
“No.“ Elise paused for a few beats. “Marigold tasked me with camouflaging them, to keep them away from Phantom.” She held out her hand, a small grin appearing on her face. “Do you still have my sword?”
Pulling the weapon off of his back, Lynx placed the handle into her palm, before she gripped onto it. She then raised it skyward, the blade splitting to reveal a beam of energy. However, it was more powerful than normal. The gaps in the weapon began to glow as the guard shone brightly.
“Adeline, awaken,” Elise called out dramatically. On cue, the ELYS-MK I flashed white for a moment before it morphed into a more traditional sword, retaining it’s grayish green and purple color palette. The guard was made up of two wings, one of an angel, and one of a dragon. She then pointed it at Lynx, her grin showing more clearly.
“You mean, all this time, I’ve had the Dawnbreaker?”
“Yep, I just needed to make sure you were the right guy for the job of taking out Phantom for good.” She flipped the Dawnbreaker so she was holding it backhand, before tossing it to Lynx. “Everything I’ve had you do, every bit of hell I put you through, was to prepare you. ... Except for my attitude, though. I just do it because it amuses me.”
“Typical.” The new wielder of the Dawnbreaker rolled his eyes, though he couldn’t hide his own grin. Though his expression contorted into a frown as he stared into the blade of his weapon’s new form. “But, what about the part about needing Meli’s powers to be able to use Adeline’s full power?” Elise just laughed for a moment at the question.
“Part of me needing to camouflage the Space-time Weapons was also hiding the mark of Meli’s host. But now that the Dawnbreaker has been reawakened...” She went around behind Lynx, pulling up the back of his shirt and jacket to reveal the symbol of the half-dragon bloodline. “Boom. Lynx Atri, you’ve inherited the power of the Kotori family.” He turned to try and look at the mark, though his vision was blocked by his clothing and inability to turn his head completely around, before he let out a sigh.
“I’ll look at it in a mirror when I get the chance.” Elise let go of his shirt and jacket, letting the garments fall back to their natural positions. “Think I’ll end up being able to get wings and horns like Emily? Or maybe I’ll be able to...”
... ‘Telling him this early was probably a mistake,’ Emily thought to herself as she just began walking off, with her trainee trailing behind her as he listed off all the possible things he could do now that he had the powers of the Spirit Dragon.
(Warning, kinda long (3ish paragraphs) but I think it’s cool)
In the school it’s this gigantic overly complex device that’s in the basement and made/run by (Insert mad scientist, I’ll just say Gaster because of the vessel thing but I’m open to suggestions). At random intervals, it activates. Monitors speed info/data past, clear pipes of glowing liquids flow, the whole shebang until it prints out the Y/N. When the Y/N first comes out of the machine, it’s just a flat piece of paper, but they doesn’t stay like that for long:
These Y/Ns come in a variety of shapes, sizes, styles, colors, all of which are seemingly decided by The Machine. They even have souls! They also already know basically everything about the school and usually try running to something or someone they want to see, but Y/N’s are not allowed in class (too distracting) and must wait in the dorms until classes end first.
On our end:
There’s this new game being passed around Sexyman Descendants Tumblr called Y/N maker, it’s basically a character creator but they all have “Y/N” written on their face where eyes should be. It’s super customizable and even allows modding/to draw your own Y/N! Once it’s complete, it asks you to imbue your soul into it so it can become you. Press “No” and it closes itself out, Press “Yes” and it says “Y/N order placed” and adds the Y/N’s image to your gallery. You do not feel any different.
In each age, there has been many guardians of the elements, but only a small handful of them have to fight the enemy the Dawnbreaker Guild was formed to combat. These heroes went down in history, becoming legends, and each time their enemy reawakens, the story is quite different.
The First Age (0-1500)
When Phantom first awoke, there wasn’t any Dawnbreaker Guild, just a young girl with a baby Spirit Dragon as her closest friend. When one of Phantom’s creations, a dark dragon, attacked her village, the Spirit Dragon merged it’s soul with Emily’s and changed the course of Aurora forever.
The heroine traveled across Aurora, obtaining the power of all the elements, before confronting Phantom and, with the aid of Marigold, creating an eternal seal, trapping him in the Tower of Spirit, before creating a new continent, leaving the old one in it’s cursed state for eternity.
She founded the Dawnbreaker Guild, a group dedicated to protecting Aurora and keeping Phantom locked away, though Emily retired soon after, as her spirit was greatly strained from making the seal and a new continent to the point of irreversible damage.
The Second Age (1500-4000)
As Phantom began to find new ways to attack Aurora from his prison, a complete team had been formed. The twins Xander and Tael Drake, warriors of Fire and Ice, respectively. Crystal Earthquake, the warrior of Earth. Flash Drako, warrior of Wind. Xavier Drakor, the warrior of Lightning. And the reflections Jewel Solarblaze and Shade Nightfall, warriors of Light and Darkness respectively. The final warrior, the warrior of Spirit, up to now, was working as a miner to recover minerals for the capital, unaware of his power. However, following a cave in that forced him to pass through an underground ruin, his heritage became known to him.
The warrior of Spirit for the Second Age, was Drake Kotori. He traveled across the land, freeing the other guardians from Phantom’s shackles, before heading to the old continent to try and finish off the demon. Phantom seemed to be invincible, but thanks to his counterpart, Marigold, the warriors were able to completely sever Phantom from Dust, leaving him without a host. Marigold then trapped Phantom in the Reality Stone, the only thing powerful enough to hold him. She then sealed Dust’s physical form away before she faded, going into hiding.
The End of the Second Age (4000)
At the end of the Second Age, Archie recreated the universe, both inside and outside of the simulation, so that Project Aurora could continue unhindered, and as a result, an identical copy of Aurora was made, however, Phantom escaped the Reality Stone during this time, and left the Tower of Spirit before the seal could be re-applied.
The Third Age (0-present)
After the third age began, Dust was found by a patrol, and was brought to the healers, who noticed that he had no spirit energy, yet was still alive. Taking interest, the royal family’s guardian, Ember Firestorm took Dust in, though she noticed that he lacked the ability to feel. Though after a few years, Phantom made himself known, directly attacking the capital. Ember escaped with Dust in tow, and set out to gather the other guardians. As they traveled, Dust realized that this was a world worth protecting, and developed a resistance to the creatures of negativity.
The Elemental Guardians of this age were Ember Firestorm, the heroine of Fire; Frost Drake, the heroine of Ice; Alex Winterheart, the hero of Spirit, and the other 4 guardians that I need to make concepts for.
I’ve come to describe Feolla as the Big Buff Puff. She’s a Mage Knight who rescues Arque as a child and trains her. She’s very optimistically morbid and blunt. She functions as Arque’s promoted mentor unit ala Fredrick/Gunter/Seth/Titania/Sothe.
