My computer setup is in the main room now and It it The Absolute Worst Place for concentration but I can’t do anything about it so jkanbjkdhkajhfkja

my 63-year-old father is grousing at my equally senior mother. He is telling her, when he went to bed last night, he could hear and feel the  TV upstairs. He was most disturbed because it shook his bed when explosions happened. He did NOT appreciate her loud volume setting. 

She said back to him, “Charlie, I understand that. You wouldn’t let me have the remote when you went to bed, so the volume was right where you had it while you were watching tv. I just never changed it.”

He says back to her, “BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BUT SHIRLEY, I could FEEL it! Why would you make it so loud?”

I don’t...

how often do they have this fight?  Because this man...he never lets anyone have the remote until he goes to bed. Then he puts it away instead of giving it to the room’s other occupant(s).

That awful moment you’re laying in bed and your tv is way too loud for the hour of the night but you can’t find the remote and lazy darkness sets in and there’s no moving and it’s just awful.
