Very interesting to see so many people agreeing that Louis will lose fans for being closeted yet again..

It’s very interesting how he’s the only one who gets punished by larries for this.

I get where you’re coming from, but I honestly think it's unfair to view it that way. Harry actually gets just as much shit from Larries whenever he's stunting—it just plays out differently. Louis often seems to bear the brunt of it more though, because he's simultaneously sold with both his “laddy lad” persona and the “father of the year” image, making the situation feel even more suffocating. It's easy for people to project more frustration onto him because of how heavily he's boxed in.

And this goes back to those supposed Larries blaming Louis for Harry's closeting (which I addressed here). Unfortunately, I think this also stems from the outdated idea some still hold onto—that Louis is somehow responsible for Harry staying closeted. It's frustrating to see, especially when they're clearly both in the same situation, dealing with different but equally heavy circumstances. At the end of the day, they're navigating this together, and it doesn't seem fair to place more weight or blame on one of them over the other.

The fandom has been here before, and while I wouldn't want that to happen, I think it's definitely a possibility—for some people to back off for a while, especially with him being single for so long and this situation suddenly coming to light. I just wish more people would have a stronger hold on Larry when things like this happen—because at the end of the day, the big picture hasn't changed. And I love how @delicateperspective put it: "Nothing's changed. They’re still closeted against their will. We’re still here watching for their signals and celebrating their talent and music. Same as it was yesterday."

That's the mindset I want to hold on to. We have to move forward. That doesn't mean I'll be enabling all the shit Louis' team plans to do (if this really evolves into a full-on stunt). I'll acknowledge it and won't stay naive about it, but I also wouldn't want to back down.

I feel like it's more important than ever to stay grounded and not let the noise cloud what we know is real. It's okay to recognize the stunt for what it is without letting it shake your belief in them. If anything, I think it's a reminder of why being steadfast in this fandom matters so much—because they're still in this fight too.

I am utterly disappointed but, honestly, not even a bit surprised. All of this perfectly fits with the rebranding of his persona and of his fandom that he has started precisely in 2021 with the resurfacing of BG.

This rebranding see him as completely locked up in the deepest depth of his closet and, for achieving this, he needs to be what an alpha straight male of his age would be (the toxic stereotypical stereotype): a chav laddy lad with an exagerate straight appearance that date the typical Barbie (the trophy wife to exibit) and that also happens to have a child from a one night stand, because he is a professional women fucker.

Larries have no space in this scenario because we are a threat to this. We constantly expose the truth and this is dangerous for this fragile fake façade.

I don't know what happened behind the scene that made him choose this way, but something happened and we have lost him.

I don't either know what this means for H's closet and for their relationship, but I guess we'll know soon with hs4 promo. Considering that I believe they are still together, this must have been a couple choice and I expect a big circus holivia-style for Hs4 promo; but we'll see.

Or maybe, they broke up and this was the last straw for Louis. In this case we'll may have a quiet stunt free promo for H and a even higher embrace of his queerness. Maybe..or maybe not. But in this moment it doesn't matter that much honestly.

Also, talking about toxicity: where was Louis TM when Liam, his brother, received the highest possible levels of hate online? Probably planning the dropping of his stunt paps on the day of the 6th month-versary of his death.

I never ever had imagine we could reach such a point, but here we are.

Hi, love! Forgive me, but Imma copy-paste my previous rant from earlier in January because I already broke down what was happening at that time lol Imma put it under a cut because it was a whole-ass rant I did back then, and I do believe a lot of people out here felt the same at that time. And these things happened between Jan 1-4 or so—so barely halfway through the first week of the year) 😅 In reference to this.

Right now, the issue is about him blocking a fan on twitter (again), and some people on tumblr has come out as anon and said they got blocked the same time as the chicken parm bullshit tweet - which imo are all very childish to do using a very public account in a very public platform (I mean, if he himself hates his feed so much, he could use his dump acc and block people there instead and use the official twitter occasionally). Idk if it’s his own doing or his team; regardless, it’s not a great move. The recent one he blocked also happened to be a no stunt larrie, and bc of that, he has given antis yet again more power to bully us. There’s also Daisy Tomlinson posting F on her snapchat, hinting since post-Christmas - and ultimately posting photos of F with emojis covering his face. Many people then asked why she covered F’s face to which she answered, “it was Louis’ request and the kid’s face gets plastered all over the internet whenever we do it anw” (non-verbatim). Which is utter bs to me. They ignore the kid for good 5 years or so; then starts this good father image propaganda as Louis TM takes off his solo career; posts him whenever convenient (such as the Christmas/holiday stunts); showed him on AOTV which premiered worldwide btw (and could’ve been omitted for the sake of not exposing the kid to the world - I mean, as a romantic guy, he never even mentioned anything about his relationships apart from the band, the UK family, and randomly, F who he wants to protect apparently); and then suddenly they’re worried about his privacy? Sorry to say but they are 10 years too late (for god's sake, there's even a fan account/UA for F which is a big ???????? to me). Even if it's not his own doing - even if it's his team (management/label) that has to do it for him - larries are consistently getting thrown under the bus and take the most hit. To be fair, it seems that they still do the annual bs stuntery, and the twins have to be the one to do the posting, bc they are influencers that need the engagement. No one else posts the kid (again, poor, poor kid being the subject of attention in all of this), so they do the dirty work to satisfy the gp and feed the 'i'm a father' narrative. I probably have so much more to say but that's basically the summary of what's happening so far lol I mean, it happens all the time (this has become an annual thing apparently), but then again, like I said, you are allowed to be upset and call him out whenever he or his team messes up. Real people and real fans get hurt bc of miscalculated actions.

Personally, I think both of them get pushback from larries whenever a stunt starts. I remember when the whole mess with OW started in 2021, a lot of fans left, and I was one of them. And at that point, the worst part of that stunt hadn’t even happened yet. But I didn't leave because I had anything against Harry or anything, I still cared (that’s why I came back).

You can literally see how uncomfortable and unhappy they are when they have to get papped or something, and the worst part is knowing none of it is real. It’s really frustrating to watch the public buy into it and then criticize them for something that’s not fully in their control, no matter how successful or grown they are.

Exactly. At the end of the day, they have to play the roles they're given. No matter how successful or grown they are, it's still part of the game (as long as those contracts still stand). And we, as the paying fans these managements and labels milk money off of, are just as heavily affected.

What I'm looking forward to is seeing how this new stunt play out in the near future—it were definitely placed for a reason.

Sometimes certain things Louis does annoy me, but I’ve learned to separate Louis Tomlinson from the Louis we see on twitter and in interviews. Because there everything can be manipulated. And we know it. I’ve read a post that says zara hired a publicist from syco and then the stunt started. And it made me think that Louis is probably still under a contract, more than we can imagine. I hope not, but the things that are happening lately…feel like a punishment.

I do not doubt Louis is still tied to some contracts, otherwise he wouldn't be in this situation and I am not surprised at all Zanzibar is tied to Syco. But Louis TM has been intoxicating the fandom with his behaviour since a while, throwing Larries under the bus and encouraging mass bullying towards us.

Liam has dead (also) because of mass online bullying. Louis TM is taking a long serie of wrong and questionable decisions, he is completely ruining the trust a large part of his fandom has always had in him and is being manipulative with all his fans, making the relationship among him and the fandom very toxic.

He is a grown ass adult now, he should know better. He has his part of fault in this and we definitely must hold him accountable for his behaviour.

Not to mention the whole BG thing and the active exploitation of a child.

I agree that twitter is toxic. That's the reason why I left. Also, Louis TM is the MAIN reason why Twitter fandom has become that toxic.

But no, please, let's not pretend we don't see the giant elephant in the room. Louis TM was manipulating the fandom and Twitter is his tool to achieve that. It has been since 2021.

It's not about the stunt, which is temu Holivia at its finest, it's about.... Betrayal.

Louis raised us, thaught us to listen what wasn't been told rather than what was told, thaught us to look behind what they wanted us to see, thaught us to decode the coding, gave us lessons about queer history and closeting in the industry.

Louis made us and now he calls us crazy, delusional, conspiracy and disrespectful because we do exactly what he thaught and encouraged us to do for about 12 years more or less.

Louis plasmated us exactly like that and now he targets us, encourages mass hate online towards us and throws us under the bus everytime he can.

The lines between Louis and Louis TM are blurred than ever.

It's about betrayal and it's one of the most vile thing a person could do. This fandom is at its last straw and there will need more than a bluegreen t-shirt to rebuild the trust between him and us. If he wants to rebuild that, which I am particularly sceptic about.

It's a very sad realization for me. I have loved and fought for this man for years, and the masochistic part of me still loves him, but I deserve respect.
