Something about how, even through the sudden bout of blindness, Dean is reaching / feeling / looking around in a panic. ("Cas!")

So in thinking about how, in the anti-Cupid world of SPNwin, Mary and John are fumbling through a real, non-idealized love... I’m seeing here in SPNwin 1x05 how they describe the experience as bewildering, confusing, scary. They’re terrified. (ALT MARY: Even if you're scared?)

And there’s something about season 6 of original SPN that’s really interesting, too—how Dean’s getting more scared now whenever something happens to Cas, and, in a very Mary-style move, Deans leaning (sometimes unfairly?) hard on Cas all season long.

But we also see how Cas is scared when something happens to Dean—and he calls the emotions crippling. ("Dean!")

I mean. Poor things. Dean and Cas have no idea what’s happening to them, only that it's... different. Only that they expect too much of each other… and are terrified something will happen.

You know the worst thing when having a crush?

When you won’t be able to see him because you both work the early shift in different companies, on different sides of the city and you don’t have his number yet.

But: he knows you will have the early shift and for some time for now. And the joy when you see him again will be bigger.

And maybe he misses you as well. At least just a little bit…

Also: early shift is torture. I don’t know how he is able to look so good and awake… I look like a panda on coffee-withdrawal…
