Me: Guys I have a Question. A life changing question.

Friend 1: Ok. What is it?

Me: When do you think one should know that he/she is experiencing true love or love that would last a lifetime? In other words the right time.

Friend 2: No idea.

Me: I need advice from grown ups.

Friend 3: I have no girlfriend. So I'm out.

Friend 1: You can´t know. There´s no real indicator. Can´t tell you stuff like that xD It´s either there or not. Done.

Friend 3: Basically you'll just have to roll with it and see how it goes.

Friend 1: Exactly.

Friend 3: Sounds like every human relationship. God I sneezed when I typed that.

TRUE LOVE

                                Most of the married couples say that they married someone whom they are ready to love for life. Those 'someone' is-said-to-be the TRUE LOVE. I wonder how true is that. Don't get me wrong. I always believe in true love. But I'm not sure... When will it come? When will it leave? Will it accompany me through my whole life? Or maybe... It will appear at some point of my life journey, but then I have to leave it behind for something or someone better. The meaning of 'true love' is vague, don't you think so?

                     How many people end up with someone they love the most? How many people end up choosing the person in front? This is a question to think about. For me, and perhaps also for you.

                               Who says that 2014 must be a year better than 2013? It's only February, and I have heard enough sad news... News which inspire me to update this long post. :) Lately, before Chinese New Year ended (if I'n not wrong), I heard my neighbours arguing. The husband and wife is shouting at each other, and... The husband said things out loud that as if no one is hearing. I heard him. I'm quite surprise! He's always been a really good man, good father in my eyes. But recently his temper goes wild. He shouted at his wife, and perhaps in front of his own father and mother-in-law... Such a nightmare... I bet that his wife is suffering too. =/  (if you think that I'm gossip... Then it's alright. XD If you think that I'm stabbing my neighbours, well... I didn't tell you their names, and... I have neighbours all around me, unless you live in Brunei, in the same neighbourhood as me, else there's a pretty tiny possibility of you knowing whom I'm talking about~ :) )

                       I don't know the reasons behind why my neighbours quarrel and fought, but my mum said that the husband actually threaten his wife with kitchen knives. The husband has now moved out, and... He's now in the stage of separation with his wife. He still find excuses to go back his 'home' but his wife is afraid that he might hurt their children, a daughter and son. The wife is so scared that she even asked people to set up CCTV cameras just to be sure that everyone in the house is safe, and no one has broke-in. It's quite sad and unbelievable to me... My neighbours were married over the past 20+ years. They have got a son who is 20 years old (or elder), and a daughter who is around 15 or 16 this year. They have what they need to construct a happy family, but things has not gone smooth. This could be a tough challenge for the whole family to go through, I hope the wife and her children will do fine after this.

                                I just know today that, one of the girls who I have been close to, actually face some problems in her family too. Before that, I can't understand why she always hated man so much, and she is always insecure in a relationship. Only today, I finally know the reason behind. Her dad is a super-hero in her eyes, since she was a little girl ; things changed after she found out some truth about her dad. Her dad has affairS. Not an affair, but many affairs, with many different girls. Ironically, his affairs were those illegal girls from China, who he later told his daughter that they are disgusting. How cruel is that to let your own daughter found that her dad is no longer a hero, but a zero, and perhaps a negative? It hurts. If it doesn't hurt, it won't affect her that much. She's around the age of 12, when she know about her dad's secrets. She has evidence in hand, phone numbers, names of his dad's affairs, the hotel room number where they did those disgusting things on bed, and even video clips. (I didn't ask where she got all of it from. She told me that she got some of the numbers from his dad's friends. Not on purpose.) She tried to tell her mom, and... Surprisingly, her mom was very calm. Her mom knows every thing before her, but she decided to hide it, because of 'family'. She wants to give her only daughter a 'family'. My girl friend's mom bite the bullet and swallow all the pain herself. The most outrageous part is that, my girl friend's dad suspected his wife having affair with another man. Evidence? None, just because she was talking to a male friend whom she hasn't seen for a long time. I don't understand... Men can go out to flirt and have intimate contacts with women other than his own wife; while women are not allowed to even have a long CONVERSATION with a long-time-no-see male FRIEND.  WHAT LOGIC IS THAT?!

                         Truths are always pain... I'm not involved in any of the above cases, but... I feel the pain too, though it could be pretty much different from the victims in the above cases. You must be thinking by now, how's the title of my post related to the stories I have told? Well, the main subject starts, NOW.

                               The wives in the above stories married to the man they thought is their 'true love'. In other persons' eyes, they look like perfect matches, no one knows that they have own secrets too. They act in front of people. Why? Because... True love has gone bad, and what the women can do, is to maintain the family and make sure that their so called man would still love and take care of their children. Women has always put their children in the first priority, and the worst men take advantage of it. They flirt with other women impudently because they know that their wives won't take any actions, because they are weak, helpless, and timid.

                         Most of the women believe in true love, yet they get the meaning wrong, and in the end, they were hurt, badly. What is true love? Your true love, should be someone you could share secrets with, and he/she can do the same to you too. True love, is someone who knows you the best, and who would always protect you no matter what. True love gives you mini heart attacks when he/she appeared, but not bleeding scars on your heart. Girls, wake up. Look at the man of yours right now. Are you sure that he's your true love? Can he sacrifice himself for you just like how you sacrifice for him? When you are with him, do you have more tears or laughs? True love should be the one that you have special feelings towards, and at the same time, he is able to do everything just for you. True love feel heart pain when he/she see you in tears. True love, is someone who could wait for you, and never complaint about small stuff. The only thing true love can complaint about, is that you didn't love yourself enough. :)

To Men: When a woman has a problem, it doesn’t mean that you need to offer solution to her because sometimes, that doesn’t help. It could just upset her. She does want you to listen to her problems be there by her side and comfort her.

To Women: A Man appreciates your advice or criticism if he requested you to do so. If not, it will make him upset. He’ll feel that he was unloved or being controlled by you even if you just want to help. Men just need your acceptance.
