uhum, idk much abt him yet, I keep telling myself I’ll flesh out a better backstory for him but we haven’t gotten around to it LMAO

what I have so far is that he grew up in the industrial slums of Southern Barnarock in a small inner-city called Beggar’s End

before receiving Pa’s letter, he was in an arranged marriage and almost threw it away, but after his wife and daughter died during childbirth, he decided to go to Portia and start anew

he’s also an old soul, almost 40, loves nature, really optimistic and helpful, super open-minded and supportive of his friends...

hi merry christmas! im very sorry about your family, im about to take a plane to see my wholeeeeee family and they really dont know how to approach me so its gonna be awkward af lol

i love snow so much! im from upstate new york but i live in wayyy northern california now. we get a little bit of snow on the mountains sometimes but that’s it. i miss the big fluffy ten foot piles of snow from the snowblowers and the sledding and building igloos (which i have done successfully ONCE with a group of my friends) and goddd ice skating! we have ice skating here but it’s not such a thing, throughout my childhood i just owned ice skates as a casual thing but no one here does, absolutely wild! i’m going ice skating for my birthday, i’m very excited!! : ) tldr i love snow  but i live in a temperate rainforest so i don’t see it as much as i’d like to.
