Sweet, peanit Lulu is really not feeling well. She is scheduled to have her eye removed tomorrow morning. We had to put a tiny little cone on her because she keeps scratching her eye. It's so swollen and red. Tomorrow, can't come soon enough we dont like hearing her cry. 😢 Luna has had a very difficult life. She was a show dog that was rented out a lot. Then, her Mom started breeding her. Her show dog days were over. It quickly became apparent that Luna could be her money maker. Eventually she was being bred with her very own son. Luna never was taken out of her cage. She was not given a choice. She already had severe damage to her eye before she came to us, was horrifically emaciated, starved, and sick. Even with all those puppies she never had any healthcare or love herself. She was on the verge of death when we got her. I can't imagine walking by this little tiny sweetheart and ignoring her cries for help. Her owner took her own life with all dogs locked in there cages. wlWe don't know how long they were alone but any longer and they would not have lived. We have spayed Luna, removed all her rotted teeth, and now she desperately needs to have her eye removed. We have tried Glaucoma medicines but the eye is painful and getting worse.
