warnings: established relationship, petnames:( babe, baby, love, more(?)), lowercase intended, there may be some spelling errors, bang chan is referred to as chan, gender is not specified, but reader uses makeup and gets their hair done. thats all i think? if there are any other lmk!
the feeling of love takes you over as you look at yourself in the mirror. chan was at work, probably producing new sounds or songs or maybe learning a new choreography. meanwhile, you had gotten your hair done earlier in the day, which you absolutely loved. went out to buy some new makeup and a new dress/suit. you were so ready for tonight and were so excited. you and chan had planned all month what you guys were going to do for your anniversary, and you guys decided on going to the mall, movies, and the new restaurant downtown (which he made reservations for right away.) everything was perfect. you decided to get all dressed up and do your makeup before he got there, so when he got back you could surprise him.
after getting your outfit on, you started doing your makeup. a bit after you started, you heard the door open. you gasped and shut the door of your bedroom.
“DON'T COME IN YET” you yelled. you weren’t ready for him to see you yet! you weren’t done getting ready!
“but babyyyy! i wanna see you! and i need to get ready for our date!”
“i know i know! i’m not ready yet though! just wait for five more minutes!”
“fine, but after that I'm coming in” he said grumbling to himself.
you rushed back to your vanity to finish up your makeup, and about four minutes later, you were confident with what you did. you looked so good and honestly, you wish you could have taken more time to appreciate your own beauty, but a knock at the bedroom door broke you out of your trance.
“you done babe? can i please come in now?” chan said
“yes baby, you can come in now” you say, standing up giggling a bit
“finally, i needed my welcome back kisses” he said, opening the door.
he looked up at you and was speechless. you looked stunning.
“oh my” he said, making you a bit upset, did he not like it? was it the hair? the outfit? maybe you put on too much makeup?
“what? do i look bad?” you ask, looking at yourself in the vanity mirror.
“what? oh my gosh, no way babe! you look so good! i am just so blown away by how good you look! the new hair?! the outfit?! my gosh you are so beautiful. how did i end up with a beauty like you?” he said, tearing up a bit
“i love you so so much baby, i cant believe it’s been a year. best year of my life. gosh, i cant wait for tonight. gonna have the best time with you.” chan said while hugging you, making you tear up a bit. he always knew what to say. you blinked back your happy tears and pulled back from the hug, cupping his face.
“i love you too, chan. i love you so so so much, i don’t even know where i would be without you. you are the best person and boyfriend i could have asked for. you’re my person.” you say, pulling him back in for a hug. you guys stay like that for a bit, hearing a bit of sniffling from him. after a minute or so, he pulls back, wiping his lash line with the back of his hand.
“okay okay, i’m gonna go get a shower and get ready. i won’t take too long.” chan said
“okay, i’ll wait for you.”
after about 15 minutes, chan comes out of the bathroom and walks into your shared closet. after about 10 minutes, he comes out and sits down at your vanity to blow dry his hair. you get up and take the hair dryer from him and start to do it. both of you not saying a word, and not feeling the need to either. just basking in each others presence. after his hair was dry, you brush it out a bit and when you set the brush down, he looks up at you and you lean down to kiss him, careful not to mess up your lip gloss.
you grab your bag, both of you guys emergency change of shoes and clothes because you can never be too safe, and he takes you to his car and he drives you both to the mall for some shopping before you guys go to the movies and to go eat dinner.
you guys bought a few more clothes and shoes before you left with bags in your hands, leaving the mall to go to the movies. when you guys arrived, everything went smoothly. chan had already bought the tickets, so all you had to do was get them scanned and you guys went to the theater where the movie would be playing. you guys decided to not get any snacks, as to save room for the dinner you guys would be having after the movie was over.
when the movie finished, you were so ready to eat and have a good time with your boyfriend. as he drove to the restaurant, you intertwined your fingers with his, making him blush a bit. you giggled and squeezed his hand. when you both arrived at the restaurant, you both got out of the car and you walked up to him and held his hand again before looking up at him and kissing him on the cheek. he looked at you with so much love in his eyes and kept eye contact with you before leaning down to kiss your forehead. after the loving moment, you both walked inside.
the date was amazing. amazing service, amazing food, and an amazing boyfriends to share the experience with. you had the best time with chan, telling jokes and talking about work and stray kids next comeback. a hint of sadness hit you when the waitress came and asked if you and chan were ready for the bill, which he accepted and paid for everything (which you let him because he basically begged you to let him pay before you guys arrived at the restaurant.)
“thank you for being with me, and thank you for an amazing anniversary, chan.” you said lovingly.
“of course, and thank you for being mine, love.” chan said
as the night ended and chan took both of you home, you start falling asleep in the car. you couldn’t have asked for a better night, or a better boyfriend.
