Play as a transfer student in the newest Dating Sim, (Night Raven Academy)! Get closer to 7 different students and unlock various different endings for each of them!

The game has just been released, so it’s only expected that there are some glitches… right?

The game, in truth, is not-so-haunted by various things, all who have their own ways of messing with the Player via the game. (For what reason, you decide..) That's most of the gimmick.

Add your ocs to the #LoveNightRaven event– either as the MC/Player, or as a 'character'! Get Creative! Please?

This universe (the in-world 'Dating Sim' setting) is magicless! Beastkin/mermaids/fae are just descendants, and don't have any powers.

The color palette is largely hues of pink and red– a pink sweater on top of a dress shirt and maroon pants, though the style varies on the individual. Principal Crowley insists on no hats or hoods though… Night Raven Academy is a example school!!!

1st/2nd years wear sweater vests and ties, while 3rd years wear cardigans with thinner ribbons.

You’ll notice the all the characters have some sort of bright red accessory– please accessorize as you wish!!

MC's neighbor and best friend: Meet James!

More gameplay info under the cut! :D

James (affectionately nicknamed Hook) is the MCs best friend, neighbor, and self-proclaimed "wingman", offering insight on the other love interests since he attended the school before you arrived.

Some of his advice can help the player significantly raise a love interest's affection meter. But be warned! His advisements can simply be a trick meant to make the player stumble; its up to you to weed out the lies from the truth.

Despite his charming and (admittedly) foolhardy nature, he harbors a crush of his own from their rival school, as hinted from a few dialogue lines mid-game. As one of the side quests, the player flips the script and assists James in his pursuit of love.

Friendship meter starts at 45 percent as opposed to 0 like the other characters, and raises slower. Can go both up and down depending on the players choices, and unlock unique dialogue about James and MC's relationship prior to attending the academy.

Though he is merely a side character, the player's choices are what determine his relevance in the story, so no one player's gameplay is the same!

...however, maxing out his friendship meter too early in the game seems to mess with the games pacing a bit, causing a sequence break of sorts and it sets the player up for an alternative ending route. He becomes more...observant of you.

Kyra Lovelace— The supposed “Main Rival” of the game who gets inbetween the MC and their chosen Love Interest.

Strangely enough, she seems to have somehow gained self-awareness. Shes aware that this is a game, and she is only a character. She doesn’t seem to care all that much, though?

She somehow found a way to manipulate the code. She isn’t a malicious glitch— just… Really, REALLY annoying. #1 ragebaiter.

Changes the options from time to time for ones that she deems more “funny”. For no reason other than her own amusement.

She remembers every reset, every choice the PLAYER made in past gameplays. Doesn’t care, but will tease the PLAYER about their choices, or judge them depending on how cheesy were the dialog options they chose. “Seriously? Why’d you say THAT? Hahaha!”

Will sometimes appear in the HINT menu and add her own HINTs. Don’t trust them. Shes just messing with you. (By adding her own HINTs, I mean she’ll stand somewhere beside Bellamy and butt in with her own “advice” that literally no one asked her for.)

While she doesn’t really get in the way of the PLAYER pursuing any of the Love Interests—other than just messing with the dialog options— Kyra will, however, make sure the PLAYER stays away from a certain SIDE CHARACTER…

Would mess with the game files. But. All she really does is make new files called “peepeepoopoo” or “if u read this ure a stinkyhead” ??? The only thing in those folders are either notes with literal nonsense or terrible jokes, or random photos and doodles.

If you open the “stinkyhead” file, there would be a note with a single sentence. “ha ha ure a stinkyhead”. Thats it.

Shes aware shes a glitch. Literally would beg the PLAYER to not report her so she can stay like this— because then… that’ll mean she won’t ever get to be with…

…Don’t report her. Please?

She’ll be nicer from now on. Just let her have this.

Let's just say given that she had the games main mechanics engrained into her instructions and character, gaining self awareness was unavoidable from the get go! Nevertheless, she seems relatively stable when it comes to the horror portion of things.

💕Feel free to put her down as a love interest if you want LMAO, but she doesn't have her own route <3

💕More of a mischievous force in the game rather than a malevolent one. Despite her attitude towards the protagonist/player, she doesn't hate them or wish to scare them. She doesn't cause more chaos than she feels she has to (still quite a bit but yk).

💕Very, VERY narrowly avoided being scrapped due to her attitude in beta testing, leading to her pretending to be in character until release.
