My first date with my wife she was a nervous mess

She was an accumulation of neuroses in a little red dress

fidgeting and always looking down at the floor

That's When she said “I wouldn't blame you if you disappeared”

“the truth is I'v been known to be a little bit weird”

So I just smiled and said “ Really tell me more”

 She said I've got a list of kinks a mile long  

I never like to admit when I'm wrong

I prefer to listen rather than speak

I'm worried that I drink too much

I've been told that I think too much

I’m what you’d call a super geek

 She said all my jeans have holes

And I have unobtainable goals

I love video games of any kind

But I've never been very good

I'd eat pizza every day if I could

I always say what's on my mind

 “Interesting” I said “but when are you gonna get to the stuff that's weird”

Her honesty and humility was something to be revered

Then she smiled and it was clear I extinguished all her fears

The next day I invited her for pizza and Co-op at my place

I let her win and have the last slice and you should have seen her face

And Believe it or not we were engaged in less than 2 Years

I just realize thats all love words we're used to say is meaningless. Unless you do what you should do. Not just saying that you love me. But act like you really love me

Love to me is when you sit down and can’t stop thinking in your brain about that person Is that person who makes me smile for no reason when I think about them Is that person who makes me feel happy in the inside for no reason Is that person who turns my checks and ears as read as a rose
