♡ LOVER FEST: imagine if... ♡

❁ the day has finally arrived. you’ve been memorizing every single word off of “lover” for months, working on your outfit, and making group chats with your swiftie internet friends from around the world in order to meet up at the show. BUT before you go to the show, there are a few crucial steps you must take to be fully prepared for the once in a lifetime experience:

step #1: picking out your outfit

❁ first, you pick out whichever outfit you’ve worked on or decided upon wearing that day. whether it’s handmade, girly festival, or taylor’s merch!

step #2: begin getting ready

❁ second, you begin getting ready (either with friends in person/on facetime, or by yourself)

step #3: hair and makeup

❁ you start doing your makeup, hair, and make sure there’s plenty of glitter and hearts where you want them.

step #4: nails and accesories

❁ after you’re done with your makeup and put your outfit on, you paint your nails based off of the lover color scheme. then, you pick out essential accesories that cannot be forgotten. for example: friendship bracelets, colorful socks, scrunchies, hair accessories (flower crowns, barrettes), heart gems (or makeup) around your eye, and of course: PAPER RINGS! you smile at yourself in the mirror when you’re finished getting ready, take and post pictures on social media and get in the car to go to the festival.

step #5: getting to the venue (and eating)

❁ when you get there, volunteers give you a light up bracelet and you waltz into the venue. everything’s pastel, glittery, and filled with swifties from around the world. you notice lover cookies being sold, cotton candy, and donuts (and you go get some because woah, delicious)

step #6: the concert

❁ after eating delicious food, fangirling with friends, and taking pictures in every single backdrop you could find with taylor’s face or name; you walk to your respective seat. “cruel summer” begins playing and everyone’s light up bracelets are flickering in sync. you cry, dance/jump until your feet can’t take it anymore, and have the time of your life with your second family: taylor and the swifties💘
