Ok so imagine siren reader walking home from the grocery store? Right and like it’s the middle of the night crmnals and crooks r out. So siren reader is just walking with 2-3 bags filled with snacks and junk food when all of a sudden the young boy wonder jumps down infant of reader.

And gos like “Miss.. r you ok?”

AND you’re like “Oh yeah dude my days been great!” Because yeah u eat men but that doesn’t mean u have to be a villain. Like your just trying to live your life , ur taking a break from music, ur not really on social media anymore. Overall everything’s been good.

“Oh um well it’s a villain attack so I think u should go inside.”

That.. wasn’t what you were expecting?.. I mean you weren’t expecting a vigilante to drop down and ask u if you were ok in the first place. But it made you think?

What do you think about vigilantes.? You don’t hate them….. no but you don’t like them either. But this one? What was his name?.. Red Robin yeah that’s it Red Robin.

He could maybe change your mind about that, who ever is rising him their rising him right. But eh not really having a kid that looks no older than 16-17 fight villains like Joker and Bene weren’t good parenting choices. But what would you know? You didn’t have ANY kids or pets for that matter.

So you wouldn’t know anything about parenting but one thing you do know is that if you ever have a kid you wouldn’t want them fighting villains in their teenage years, that’s even worse than them going out partying or drinking.

“Oh would you look at the time, sorry kid I would love to stay and chat but I have to get home! Stay safe though.!!” You shouted, time passed quickly and before you even realized it had been 15 minutes. The trip to the store was only supposed to take at most 8 minutes, as you only like 3 minutes from the store.

Or the fact that you were the only one not running indoors, trying to find shelter. Also the fact that your bags were fuller with junk food.

Shit what time is it? Before you run off Tim could have sworn you said something about it having been 15 minutes?? He hopes you read the time wrong.. because if you didn’t than Bruce was going to kill him.

He should start going, any minute now and the coms are going to be filled with them asking what’s taking him so long. He should get going now, when all of this is over. He’s going to look into you look about 21-24 You didn’t look that much older than him maybe more around Jason’s age or Dicks.

Nah you couldn’t be Jason’s age, When Jason died Tim research his class. And Tim never forgets a face if you were in Jason’s old class or school he would have recognized you at lest.

Maybe you’re younger than Jason? Maybe a year or two. Oh look his back at the manner….. in the cave.

Today was chaotic to say the least. Five different villains had teamed up to take down the hero’s. This was not what you were expecting when moving toGotham, maybe you should go back to star city or just somewhere. You chose Gotham because wellll… it’s a shity place with shity people.

Mostly Man but, it was a lot easier getting man to follow you. All you had to really do was go to a club or bar and just take them to the back.

Hiii so Dolling here I just wanted to say this is kinda short notice because my internet is down, and idk when my mom is going to pay the bill. So ima just try and finish most of my drafts on google docs. And when I’m around internet I will post them! Reblogs and likes are always appreciated!! Save a Horse

Jackson!Joel x Jackson!Sloane

In which…Joel is tasked with breaking in some of the wilder horses. You know the phrase- save a horse ride a cowboy.

A/N: I know nothing about horses so don’t take any of this literally. No smut but quite suggestive with references to sex but no actual sex yk? Also baby Ellie is there

”How’re ya feeling up there sugar?” Hummed Joel appreciatively after I’d hauled myself up onto Shimmer,

“Well mint. Dead good horse ain’t she?” My fingers tightened slightly around the reigns. Ellie was sat with her legs dangling on the fence

“Huh?”

Joel chuckled, “She’s sayin’ it feels good. Not that she wants Shimmer dead.” He ruffled Ellie’s hair, “Ellie why don’t you go hang out with your new friends huh?” His hand patting her back coaxed her to run off to find the kids her age she’d recently met- not that Joel or I were comfortably acquainted with any of them yet.

“Y’want help down?” He jumped the fence with a grunt- his back not exactly being what it used to- to haul her off the horse.

“You need’ta shave.” Was the first thing I said, rubbing my thumb across his now shaggy salt and pepper beard. His fingers laced between hers where they met his face,

“Last I checked it made ya louder s’I think ‘m keepin’ it.”

Smug Bastard.

“I-uh-.” Get it together Sloane, you’re a 50 year old woman not some blushing school girl! Then again, being *with* Joel was still relatively new. We’ve known eachother, and known eachother well, for more than 20 years but then again I’d only kissed him a matter of months ago, and having your first ever relationship as a middle aged woman in the apocalypse was kinda rough.

“Tommy wanted you to break in some’a the horses. New one they found wandering in the woods. Brought it in. Maybe about 2 years old? Chestnut brown- gorgeous thing.”

“I’ll see to it honey.” He kissed my neck and put his hat on my head, “I’ve told you the cowboy hat rule right?”

“Stop getting cheeky with me, Miller. Go in, back to work.” I giggled- yes, actually giggled- and pat his shoulder,

“Ain’t ya forgettin’ some’et?”

I rolled my eyes dramatically. I’m pretty sure Ellie was sick of us considering this was how we acted now. I sauntered over and kissed him, fingers tangling in his flannel slightly,

“There- not so hard was it? I’ll see ya later for patrol darlin’. Love ya.” He ended it gruffly, almost embarrassed, the tips of his ears pink. I gave him another quick peck before leaving,

“Have fun at the rodeo, Cowboy!”

I was meant to be trying to educate those born in the apocalypse- I was the only one with teacher training after all. So it was a bit of a…blended…class- they’d all seen atrocious horrors but could barely spell. Now that things were calmer in Jackson they were able to take a moment to learn.

It felt like Déjà vu- teaching and having one of Joel’s daughters in my class. Sarah, although I’m not meant to have favourites, was undoubtedly my favourite. And Ellie was a great student- always engaged, always curious, overly excited about everything we did. I suspected she had dyslexia and maybe autism- I’d talk to Joel about it later- but she was an amazing student and it was a privilege to have her with me.

“WOAH!” Ellie called out. I thought she was interested in the lesson but I remembered that biology isn’t that interesting so I looked out the window. A crowd was gathering around the horse pens, and the commotion led me to believe something was wrong- until I heard the hollering and whistling. “Class dismissed,” I said quickly. They deserved a bit of enrichment.

I made my way through the crowds, pushing to get a good view and my breath caught.

Joel, on the horse, staying in despite all the bucking- like he’d been born doing rodeo or something,

“Atta girl- steady- c’mon baby- calm down-.” He grunted, though I could tell from the smirk he was absolutely drinking in the audience, even though it was very unlike him. And honestly, I couldn’t deny the heat pooling in the bottom of my stomach. His arms kept straining against his shirt as he’d tug on the reigns. My breath caught several times when I thought he was about to fall off. He was practically a senior citizen- one wrong move and he wouldn’t be able to patrol tonight. But after a while of bucking and cheering and whooping, he had the horse trotting polite laps,

“Atta girl- knew ya could be good f’me.” He pat her neck encouragingly, stroking along the mottled patches on her right side. As he circled the pen to people screaming his name, someone handing Tommy some extra ration tokens that they’d clearly bet on, Joel shot me a wink and I felt my face go pink. Ellie grimaced and fake gagged.

He hopped off the horse and lead her into a stable, murmuring praise and getting her some water, veins straining as he carried the heavy sacks of oats. God I was like a Victorian man getting flashed with ankles,

“See something ya like, pretty girl?” He leaned against the fence when the crowd dispersed and he caught me staring . The asshole had a stem of wheat between his teeth, full cowboy.

“You need this more than I do-.” I tried to give the cowboy hat back but he just put it back in my hands, “Saw ya starin’ honey.” His voice lowered, “Somethin’ ya wanna tell me? Keep actin’ like that and imma’ think you’re comin’ onta me.”

“Can we get rescheduled for patrol?” I blurted. His eyebrows raised briefly but he was thinking what I was thinking.
