I won't lie when I say that reading your fic made me feel like I was truly uncovering a great mystery! like the thrill people got when Gravity Falls first dropped and people went mental to try and decode everything! or going to an escape room! (except this is a fanfic and I don't have to get out of my PJ's or go anywhere!) I have never once shied away from having to translate the ancient sumarian to understand some of the ~fabulously written~ undertones and decipher the secrets BECAUSE of your writing! and I have been OVERJOYED to recommend this to my friends even if they don't know the fandom! thank you for writing The Mask Maker! Developing my own Zelda au very slowly

I think I'm gonna called it Linked World lol. I has really no written premise as of right now but I promise I'll update this regularly 🌟

After Spirit becomes Prince Link's appointed knight, he suddenly draws the Four Sword and now becomes four. Spirit now must learn how to protect all four while they themselves try to work together to figure out their powers and seal the darkness.

But the so proclaimed Dark, Shadow Link, keep making it difficult for them, causing trouble for them all, and it doesn't help that Spirit feels the small pull they felt with Prince Link with him. It's going to be a long and difficult journey...

But who said being a Guardian of Hyrule was easy?

A bit of a role reversal au with my oc, Spirit. Spirit is a Guardian, a protector who guards the holder of the Triforce of Courage until their time comes to aid the holder of the Triforce of Wisdom in their fight against darkness.

Essentially it's just the same plot of hero trying to save princess kinda deal but with just a twist of a knight trying to protect a thrown into the real world prince who is trying to save the princess and the world.

All Links are considered princes and royals in this au after SS Link married Zelda, their bloodline carried both and passed down the Triforces to their children. Many males will be named Link and train to become knights, while females are named Zelda and train into their powers just like their ancestors.

At some point the bloodline divided so at times Zeldas could probably be cousins or another relative, but they are mostly sisters to Link.

The First Guardian, Flare, Protector of the Chosen, who was one of Hylia's many preparations for the Chosen, created the Guardian for the sole purpose to protect Link until he was able to stand on his own to be able to face Demise with her reincarnation and seal it away.

Hylia had granted Flare and Guardians after her to have a manipulation over something that will help Link on his journey. Flare having control of fire, and Spirit having control of souls.
