Note: in my stories "luce" is pronounced like "loose" just so you know :)
When I mentioned looking at his wings he tensed up his mind was running over all the situations. The only conclusion he could think of is I would leave him.
So he denied it, "don't you think we're kind of busy right now?" He says kind of harshly. I frowned "no your right we are busy" I laughed awkwardly.
Since lucifer wasn't showing his wings maybe I could ask michael for a description.
Michael wasn't keen on the idea of telling me, "come on michael tell me!" I begged. He still said no.
I sat down in a chair right next to sam and dean "hey boys, how's it going?"
They both looked stressed "not good we can't find this crucial piece of information." Sam groans and lays his head on his arms which were folded in front of him on the table.
I frown "can I help some how?" I looked over towards dean but he was shaking his head "nothing you can do kid" I sigh and nod.
Sam and dean had left to go hunt a werewolf that has been eating elderly people. I sat in a chair off to the side in the library so as not to disturb micheal and lucifer, it's the first time they had gotten along without wanting to rip each other's throats out.
I was reading my book, as I was nearing the end of a chapter I could hear whispers. I turned the page to act like I was reading when I was actually listening.
"Just show them!" Michael harshly whispered. I heard a growl and a forced bitter laugh "you know I can't do that." Everything was silent after that.
After a while dean and sam came back, "how did the hunt go?" They smiled and hugged me. "It went really well besides the fact we almost died" dean snorts. I shake my head and nod "I'm glad you both are back in one piece" they release me and back up, my face scrunches up "you smell like a wet dog. Go take a shower."
Once they agreed and started walking towards their rooms I took my leave and started walking towards my room.
I opened my door and almost jumped out of my skin, lucifer was sitting on my bed, and was sweating profusely He looked up and rolled his shoulders.
"I need your help" he stood up and pulled me into my room before shutting the door and putting an angel banishing sigil on it. "What are you doing?" I question, he sighs and gently places his hands on my shoulders. "You want to see my wings right?" He says while looking away he seemed.
Fearful.
I nod cautiously, he sighs and pulls his hands away before walking around me towards my bed. He pulls his shirt off, he had a surprisingly toned body he wasn't a bodybuilder and wasn't exactly fat. What was the word I am looking for? Oh right.
Dad Bod. He has a dad bod, he turns and walks towards me. From where he stood in front of me I could feel his breath fan against my face, a slight minty smell.
"Don't freak out." He quietly mumbled as he covered my eyes. A bright light flashed from behind his fingers, he pulled his hand away.
I gasp as I take in the beauty of his wings. There were 3 sets of 6, the biggest were the brightest.
pink mixing with blue while fading into black due to burn damage they looked to be torn. The set below that was a mix of pink and white with small black spots, it kind of looked like a sunrise it was also burnt but it also looked torn as well. His last set was the smallest yet was still bigger than your thigh. It looked to be the worst, half of it was gone but you could tell it was gold underneath all the dirt and grime.
"They need grooming, c-can you do that?" His request went on deaf ears, I was hypnotized by their beauty.
I blink repeatedly "what?" I shake my head slightly before looking up at his face. His cheeks had a pink hue to them, he groaned and released my shoulders "listen I need help cleaning them I don't wanna have to ask michael." He crosses his arms over his chest as if a defense.
I nod "of course I would be honored too luce. I can't believe you let me see your wings." I mumbled the last sentence, not trying to be rude or suggest I wouldn't be honored to do this again.
"Only for you~" he purred out as I ran my hands through his biggest set of wings.
Note: hope you enjoyed this I liked writing it lol
Being touch-starved and needy was really starting to mess with their reputation as a tough guy. - Lucifer x reader
It was something that he was only slightly ashamed of. The need to constantly be in his girlfriends presence, or his favourite thing having some part of himself holding her in some way, was only a slight dampner to his reputation of being a tough guy. But he, the fallen angel from heaven with the promiscuous reputation had fallen so deeply in love with Y/N the minute he laid eyes on her, and from that moment onwards he couldn’t bare to be apart from her. For the first time in weeks you were getting the chance to see your girlfriend again as she had been out of state to visit her family and now she was back and in your arms.
“I missed you so much my sweet Y/N” you whisper as you place a kiss against her forehead
“I missed you too Samael” she says, the only human who had ever used your angel name. You squeeze her tightly before pulling away and holding her hand before taking her luggage in the other.
(Do you think you will write longer fics for Lucifer? You know besides the sentence starters)
"Is this really necessary?"
The Devil Wears Louboutin
(Lucifer x Reader)
Summary: Lucifer isn’t necessarily the materialistic type... except for when it came to his dress shoes. Those were more valuable than life on earth, your life specifically.
Word Count: 1,664
A/N: YUP. I actually have one in the works at the moment, but since you asked I just made this a longer fic. Hope that’s cool! (also may have gotten a bit carried away but when does that not happen)
“Is this really necessary?” you asked, trying to sound as confused as possible. You had thrown away a pair of Lucifer’s dress shoes as a way of getting back at him for embarrassing you in front of your friends. It wasn’t unlike him, but it was when you’d felt that you were finally fitting in with people your age, but of course, Lucifer had to screw it up. What you didn’t expect, though, was for him to call Chloe and the team to investigate.
“But of course. They’re Louboutin, y/n. Get with the program, would you?” You scoffed at his question, although internally snickering a bit to yourself about the mischief you’d caused for him. You hated to say it, but you were actually starting to understand the fun in being mischievous like your brother, despite constantly having to balance him out with how utterly, well, angelic you were.
“She’s right Lucifer. I mean, is it really that serious?” Chloe asked him sincerely, secretly hoping that he would lay off so she wouldn’t have to spend her day tracking down a pair of shoes, designer or not.
“Um yes? Don’t tell me your on her side, detective...,” he said as his eyes caught hers, as if they were visibly piercing through them. She kept eye contact with him, but soon broke it to look back at you.
“You know what? I should probably go check in with Ella and Dan to uh- you know... see if they found anything!” Chloe said awkwardly, dragging herself out of Lux to avoid any further confrontation from the two of you. Just as she was about to step out though, Ella and Dan both walked in from their search.
“Did you find ‘em?” Chloe asked.
“Well,” Ella started, “after about thirty minutes of grueling investigation, we found them!” You gulped, not thinking they would find them so soon, let alone at all.
“Great! I knew I could count on you Miss Lopez. I’m sure Detective Douche was of no help...,” Lucifer wisecracked, earning a glare from Dan, “...anywho, did you find the measly little germ that stole them?” He spoke as he rubbed his two hands together, most likely fantasizing about sending the culprit to hell. Little did he know, obviously, that you were the “measly little germ” he was talking about.
“As much as I’d love to drag him over here so you can have your fun with him,” Here it comes... “there were actually in the dumpster right outside of Lux!” Ella said. Lucifer was a bit confused to say the least.
“Really?” Chloe said, also confused, but relieved that she wouldn’t have to spend another minute on this particular ‘case.’
“Really?” Lucifer spoke in a surprised tone. “Why would someone just throw them away and scram, that makes absolutely no sense I mea-” Lucifer stopped in his tracks. You started rocking back and forth on your feet, looking undoubtedly guilty. You could practically see the lightbulb go on above Lucifer’s head as he spun around to look straight at you. Chloe, Ella, and Dan all looked at each other in confusion.
“What? Why’re you looking at me like that?” You tried to sound as genuine as possible, but Lucifer being your big brother and all, could see right through you.
“You’ll see,” he said with a wide grin, spin back to face his three colleagues. He knew it was you, and you were screwed. “Thanks guys, I’ll take it from here,” he said with a wink to Chloe, sending them off.
“Uhm okay, well, call me if you need anything else?” Chloe said, taken aback by Lucifer’s sudden change in mood. To be frank, so were you.
“Will do!” he said, literally pushing the three out of the door, leaving you and him alone. While still facing the exit, Lucifer turned around to face you with a sinister smile.
“Tsk tsk tsk... you thought you could fool me, didn’t you?” he said as he menacingly walked towards you.
“What’re you taking about?” you said, trying to keep up your clueless charade for as long as possible as you stepped back a bit.
“I think you know exactly what I’m talking about. We’re both very well aware that you’re the one who did it, so just admit that it’s you now and I won’t tickle you too bad,” he said perkily. You had a slight feeling that that was coming. The last time you had gotten on Lucifer’s nerves, he tickled the daylights out of you. You would think it isn’t that bad of a penalty, considering he could never hurt you, but no, it was torture; it was just your luck that Lucifer was terribly good at it too, knowing all of your spots and whatnot.
“I didn’t. Do it.” you said angrily. It was an idiotic decision to continue to deny his claims, but like you said, it sometimes found itself to be fun, being mischievous like him.
“Wow- so witty, I like it!” he said proudly. “Now come here,” changing from a light tone to a serious one.
“I think I’m fine over here, thanks though!” Just as he was about to pounce, Maze walked in. Saved by the bell... sort of.
“Mazikeen! Good to see you! Say, you love torturing people, don’t you?”
“Maybe...? What’s it to you?”
“Well our dear y/n did something very very bad to your old pal, and I happen to be getting my vengeance by torturing her with tickles! Care to help a devil out?” Lucifer was fully capable in dealing with you himself, but he wanted to make the experience as unbearable as possible. What better way to do that than a little assistance from Maze?
“Maze. Don’t!” you pleaded with your hands up in defense.
You could see her hesitating a bit, since you two had a relatively close relationship because of Lucifer and all, but she honest to your father, couldn’t resist, and Lucifer knew that.
“I’m sorry y/n but I gotta!” For a split second she had a quite distressed look, but that quickly switched to her hungry-eyed demon face, running over to you to aid Lucifer in his revenge. She grabbed you in a bear hug so that your back was facing her and your arms were pinned to your sides, bringing you down to the floor with her.
“Maze you have to believe me when I say I didn’t do anything!” you yelled with a quick glare to Lucifer, noticing a cheeky grin plastered on his face.
“She’s lying, Maze. And we all know better than anyone that I never lie.” You groaned at that fact. There was no way Maze was going to believe you, despite the fact that if she didn’t believe Lucifer, he could, at any point and time, simply send her back to hell; she would rather die than take that chance.
“You’re all mine you little heathen...” he said with a boop to your nose. You stuck your tongue out at that, earning a chuckle from the man. You were utterly helpless, and he found it adorable. It wasn’t often that Lucifer got the chance to mess around with you as most big brothers do; whenever he got the chance, though, he soaked it in like a sponge. He was never blind to the fact that you were the responsible one the relationship, resulting in having to force you to be a child at times; and times like these where he would tickle the snot out of you, were his way of doing so.
“Getting feisty now, are we? You know, you still haven’t admitted to what you did earlier... d’you care to?” he said, his hands itching to tickle you to pieces. You didn’t reply, instead shrugging in response to his question. There was practically no point in arguing with him any longer, since your fate had already been decided since the minute he had realized that you were the culprit. “Well, don’t say I didn’t warn you!” he beamed, promptly attacking your torso, wiggling his fingers wherever he could reach. You could barely move, given that Maze had an iron grip on you.
“LUHUHUCE STOHOHOHOP!” you said as you struggled in Maze’s arms.
“Just so you know... if you’re trying to get out, it’s not gonna happen,” Maze said into your ear, sending a quick chill down your spine.
“UGHHHH. GUHUHUYS IHIHIM GOING TO PEEHEHEHEHE!” you said in an effort to hopefully be freed, but once again, Lucifer saw right through your act as if you were a pane of glass.
“You are just a lying little heretic today, aren’t you sister?” he said through playfully gritted teeth, switching his attack to your ribs, which raised your laughter about five octaves.
“AHAHAHAHA!” you screamed with your eyes closed shut, tears of mirth filling the corners. After what felt like eons - but was really only a few minutes - Lucifer noticed the hiccups in the midst of your laughter, and thought it was best to stop.
“Alright, you sensitive little imp,” he said as he stopped, earning a few exaggerated wheezes from you. You had always been quite dramatic growing up; it was part of the charm of being the youngest sibling. “Breathe, y/n,” he said as he pulled your chin up to look at him. “It could’ve been worse, you know...” he lightly threatened with wide eyes. You gave him a mocking expression, but somehow found it helpful to be reminded to breathe again. Maze, on the other hand, released her grip on you, patting your back a couple times as a form of reassurance and getting up to have a drink from the bar, Lucifer following straight after.
“You good over there, hellion?” He cheesed at the sight of your sprawled form on the ground as he poured a glass of whiskey for himself. You replied simply by sticking your arm up, giving him the bird.
Oh, how his ironically devilish nicknames for you had a special place in your heart; you’d consistently acted as if you hated them with every bone in your body, but quite honestly, you wouldn’t change any of it for the world, and neither would he.
Lucifer’s reputation of granting favors is the second best thing he’s known for. So when you ask for one - point blank - and offer him immediate repayment in the form of a coin he thought to be long gone, he immediately agrees. But you come with baggage, and series of suspicious circumstances, and Lucifer finds himself full invested in your story.
All because of a suspiciously familiar coin.
Interesting.

Can I ask for a Lucifer Morningstar fic where the reader to pregnant, hasn’t told Lucifer yet and panics starting to lie to him and avoid him. They resolve it when he does some of his own detective work and he decides he wants you to know he likes the child. Bonus points of stuff like ‘well now I’ve trapped you and you’re mine...’ (like playfully) Thanks.
Detective Morningstar
Pairing: Lucifer Morningstar x Reader
Summary: You’re pregnant with Lucifer’s baby. Great, right? Wrong. You know how much he doesn’t like children. So being a responsible adult, you… lie and avoid him. Lucifer does some detective work and finds out, because of course he would.
Warnings: Unplanned pregnancy, angst, language, talk of period, talk of yeast infections (just wait)
Rating: Everyone
Word Count: 2,709 words
Note: Lots of internal dialogue in this one, with lotsa cursing. Indicated by italics. Also, part of what took so long - my first attempt at this was much less happy and required me to get into a certain mindset. The rewrite is much happier and lighter. And pregnancy fics just take more effort from me.
Note to Requestor: Thank you for requesting and your patience, nonnie! I hope you enjoy! 💕

It was about four in the morning and you were thankful for your natural inability to hold your bladder through the night. Lucifer didn’t seem disturbed by your getting out.
Heavy sleeper and used to it, I guess.
You slowly closed the bathroom door with a soft click and opened the cabinet just as slow. Thankful you had fixed that squeaky hinge.
Your eyes fell on the bright box in front of you and you grabbed it with trepidation - hoping your period would start and wake you from this nightmare. You opened the box quietly, swearing internally at the foil wrapping.
Why did they make these things so loud??
It wasn’t necessary. All it did was make it perfectly clear to anyone within a mile’s radius that you were taking a pregnancy test.
You paused after finally pulling it out - so on edge and nervous of making any sound Lucifer would overhear.
Nothing came from the bedroom so you got down to business.
Yuck, of course you got a little on your fingers.
Okay. All done. Now just five minutes.
God it felt like an hour.
Any bleeding?
Nope.
You checked. Still had hope even if it was a week late. You had been practically begging for your period.
You made empty promises to never complain about your period again.
You checked your phone for the hundredth time in the five minutes.
Finally.
You didn’t even pause before looking at the test.
+
Shit.
Hold up, it could be a -
Nope. Definitely a +
+ means pregnant right??
Shit shit shit.
Wait.
Could be a false positive. Those happen all the time.
Yeah, sure, your brain aka reasonable Y/N thought.
You looked into the cabinet to get another one, a different brand.
As much as you were freaking out, you realized that wasn’t the best idea. You’d wait until tomorrow.
I’m sure I’ll get my period by then and it’ll be some weird false positive...
Yeah.
You pushed the feeling in your gut down. It could be wrong.
It had to be.
1 day and 1 more positive test later...
You sat on the couch, Netflix running but not earning your attention.
You were too busy thinking at break-neck speed.
... Well he came around to liking Trixie. Becoming like an uncle to her. Now when he called her monkey it was affectionate.
And he loved and was even affectionate to baby Charlie.
So maybe he wouldn’t be mad. Or upset? Or idk disappointed?
Oh God, that would be the worst.
Wait, God!
Hey! Dad in law! Can you help out here? Take little bugger out?
I mean you helped Mary so just like say the spell backwards.
Yikes.
Let’s hope He wasn’t listening. Pretty sure that sent you straight to Hell ten times over.
Speaking of Hell, this was his fault! He’s the one with the freaking sperm!
But.... you’re the one whose body betrayed you. Apparently your uterus had too many months of preparing for a baby just for it to get torn down.
Maybe it was a fake. False positive. People get those all the time.
Across two different brands?
Ugh, shut up, reasonable Y/N.
3 days and 3 more positive tests later...
Maze you whisper-yelled through your teeth and shook your hand to get her to come over once she looked up from her spot on the barstool.
“I’m fucked.”
“Why?”
Maze asked with a suspicious look.
“I’m... fucked”, you cursed.
“You can’t tell anyone. Especially you know who.”
Maze smiled and nodded, curiosity piqued. She loved secrets.
You sighed, the omnipresent string of curses running through your head before you spoke again, taking a deep breath and spilling it all out.
“I’m like 99.999 percent sure I’m pregnant.”
You sucked in air, having to breath after saying that all so hurried also because FUCK, you just said it out loud.
Your best friend/practical sister just started at you, chewing on your lip.
She shifted on her feet.
“Are you...” she was trying to gauge you and the situation. “Happy?”
You made faces as you tried to think.
Were you?
Petrified. Anxious. Happy? Okay a little. If you weren’t worried about Lucifer’s reaction maybe you would be.
You mean, it was kinda cool you were like making life.
“Uhhhh...”
Maze nodded slowly at that. Understanding nearly perfectly well what was going on.
“I see. And you’re worried about Lucifer?”
You nodded, scared of even saying his name.
“What if he doesn’t like me like that?”, you sighed, wanting to cry.
She just stared at you, but it was no use as you had dropped your head in your hands. She waited until you lifted your head back up before speaking.
“You’re literally married.”
Oh. Right.
“Yeah but...”
She flicked you in the forehead.
“Stop being an idiot, YN.”
“What are my two favorite ladies gossiping about?”
You jumped out of your skin. Neither of you had noticed your husband/ father of your child until he stood just a foot away.
Shit shit shit.
Say something!
You looked to Maze but she was giving you nothing.
Fuck. Okay uh...
“Uh... VAGINAL ITCHING!”
Lucifer stopped himself from putting his hand on your shoulder. His face was a hilarious mixture of confusion and strange acceptance.
No one said anything so you had to go again.
“Um... yeah. Maze,” you gulped at the daggers coming from her eyes.
“I mean, I.... uh, I think I got a yeast infection.”
Lucifer nodded furrowing his eyebrows. He just turned on his feet and walked away.
Once he was out of reach, Maze snorted.
“You’re a mess! Vaginal itching??”
You buried your head in your hands once more and groaned.
— — —
When you went to bed that night Lucifer was already there.
“What have you been up to darling?”
Reading articles about how to tell your husband you’re pregnant.
“Um. Uh.... Reorganizing the closet.”
You smiled and laughed a little too loud as you realized how utterly stupid that was considering he was in the bedroom. With full view of the closet.
You blushed and tried to laugh it off.
“Sorry, babe. I’m super tired. I’ve been out of it.”
He chuckled. “That yeast infection?”, he mused.
You nodded over enthusiastically. “Yeah the uh, yeast infection.... Itchy itch!”
You cringed.
Itchy itch? Who says that??
Lucifer pursed his lips, trying so hard not to laugh at you.
“Yes, itchy itch indeed. Let me know if you need me to run to the store and get you something for that. I was planning on going out tomorrow.”
You gulped. Fear and paranoia coursing through your veins.
He nudged your shoulder.
“CVS has those chocolates you like on sale so I thought I’d pick some up.”
You sighed. A little too eagerly. Then tried to cover it up.
You couldn’t trust your words so you smiled and leaned in to kiss Lucifer.
He held your lips for an extra moment and pulled away slowly.
“I love you, Y/N” he said. Certainty and firmness evident through his tone and eyes that held yours.
You closed your eyes.
“I love you too, my angel”
— — —
You stopped as you stepped out of Lux, taking a moment to appreciate the warm LA sun hitting your skin. You closed your eyes and held your head high.
Today was going to be a good day.
Someone cleared their throat next to you and you frowned.
Or not.
Opening your eyes you saw you sister in law, Remiel.
Ah, fuck.
“Remy!” you exclaimed, trying to be excited. Like you didn’t know what was going on or why she was here.
She looked at you unamused.
“Y/N. I thought you said you used protection.”
Your face fell and you slumped. Embarrassed as Remy brought up your old conversation.
When she came down to try to take Charlie to Heaven she made a comment about expecting Lucifer to be the one to create a nymphlim.
And you of course said that you two used protection and she wouldn’t have to worry about that.
Which wasn’t a lie, you had been! You just... kinda stopped.
You laughed awkwardly.
“Yeah…” You swallowed.
“Since you’re here... am I actually…?” your throat tightened. You couldn’t say it.
In an instant your sister in law eyes softened.
“Yes,”
You nodded, looking away as you bit your lip, trying to hold back the tears from spilling onto your cheeks.
Remy came closer to you and put her hand on your shoulder.
“Hey,” she began, her voice soft and almost unfamiliar from what you knew of the hunter.
You looked up at Remy and tried to smile.
“I guess,” you sniffled. “I kept thinking it wasn’t real. That all the tests were somehow wrong.”
You shuddered out a shaky laugh, meeting her eyes quickly.
“But I guess if you’re here and you can tell...”
Remy grunted in agreement. “I can smell it clearly.”
You chuckled and looked back at her, not surprised to see her serious face. But that left after a moment to a sly smirk.
You sighed and decided to go in for a hug. After a quick flinch, Remy brought her arms loosely around you.
“You’re not mad?” You sniffled against her shoulder.
She laughed under you as she pulled away, holding you at arms length.
“No. I learned my lesson with Amenadiel. I wanted to offer my help. The child of Lucifer will be highly sought out.”
You blanched. “Sought out? Like...”
She nodded seriously. Her mood instantly changing.
“Yes, Y/N. Many will try to get ahold of your child for their own benefit.”
You just nodded back, unable to handle the situation and desperately wanting to not think about it.
Remy seemed to notice your fatigue and tried to smile again.
“But there’s no need to worry about that now!”
You smiled back, trying to relax as well.
“Well... since you’re here...”
“Remy!”
Lucifer shouted from behind you.
Your husband walked up to you both and pulled his sister in for a tight hug.
“So lovely for you to stop down. What are you doing here?”
Remy went to say - the truth. So you spoke up first. Almost drowning her out.
“I invited her for pedicures!”
“Ooh pedicures?” Lucifer turned to you with excitement.
“Yeah. Uh, Girl family bonding. Like just girls! ... Sorry uh no boys allowed.”
Luci chuckled as Remy just looked on.
“Sounds lovely.” Luci couldn’t even try to hide the love in his heart seeing his wife and sister together.
You stepped in to give him a quick peck on the cheek then back to Remy and wrapped your arm in hers.
“Bye Luci!”
There was a glimmer in his eyes as he pulled out the corvette keys from his pocket and handed them to you.
“Have fun, darling”.
You smiled up at your husband, appreciative of the act.
He gave Remy one last look before he walked back inside.
It was quiet for almost a minute before Remy broke the silence.
“You haven’t told him yet?”
You sighed and hung your shoulders.
“I’ve been meaning to but I just... I’m so scared.”
“Of what?”
You looked at her. She really did want to help.
“Hey uh, if you’re not busy. A pedicure would be nice.”
She smiled. It truly was a nice sight.
“Sure.”
— — —
After you got home and said your goodbyes to your sister in law you hummed happily, trying to not be nervous.
Thankfully Lucifer wasn’t home so you relaxed in front of the tv with a snack.
When the elevator door dinged, you jumped up as Lucifer was quite cheery.
“What’s got you all smiley, Mr. Morningstar?”
He chuckled. “Well, Mrs. Morningstar, not only did they have your chocolates on sale. I also got a coupon!”
You giggled at him. Lucifer Morningstar. The Devil himself. Clipping coupons with such eagerness like a domestic housewife.
He walked over to you and held up the bags. You gawked.
“Luci, how much chocolate did you get??”
He gave you a sly smile.
“Oh I noticed we were running low on some items so I got them as well”
He held your eyes and in that moment you knew you were caught. But you tried to play dumb.
“What stuff?”
He tilted his head at you.
“You know, darling. Pregnancy tests. You’ve gone through quite a lot these past few days.”
You felt the color drain from your face.
“Luci...”
He held up his hand and walked over to sit beside you.
“Y/N. Whatever the reason, I want you to know you don’t need to lie anymore.”
You had to look away at the intensity of his look.
“I’m the Devil. Sensing truth and lies is my thing.”
He put two fingers under your chin to make you meet his eyes.
“And even if I wasn’t. You’re a bloody awful liar. Pedicures?”
He gave you a crooked cheeky smile and you couldn’t help the groan that escaped you.
“I know. But Luci...”
He wasn’t moving to speak so you took a breath and continued.
“I thought you would be upset. I mean, other than Trixie and Charlie, you don’t really like kids. And having a kid, it would tie us together forever. And I know we’re married but it’s different? And I just...”
Your voice trailed off when you looked back up at Lucifer and saw him shaking his head.
“Y/N, my darling wife. We were tied together forever the moment I first saw you. And a child? To be honest, seeing my brother with Charlie it sparked something in me.
“And when I saw you and Remy standing together today - I hoped she was here for the same reason you had taken almost every kind of pregnancy test. And didn’t use any tampons. And didn’t eat any of your period ice cream.”
You felt the blush grow on your cheeks and bumped your head into his shoulder - trying to desperately hide your embarrassment.
“You used your detective skills on me, Morningstar?”
He laughed wholeheartedly as he wrapped his arms around you.
“You aren’t that challenging of a case, love.”
You let yourself laugh.
It shouldn’t surprise you.
Wait.
He said hoped.
Hoped.
“Luci...” you stilled under him, “You said you hoped?”
“Yes,” he said simply.
“Really?”, you said softly, so surprised by his words.
He nodded then leaned in to kiss you, saying all he needed to say with the passion and love pouring from his lips to yours.
When he pulled away you took a breath, feeling like a weight had been lifted off your shoulders. Staring into the eyes of your husband, you knew his words to be true.
“You want this? A baby? Our baby?”
He smiled, lighting up at your words.
“Yes.” He shook you slightly.
“I want all the babies you’re willing to give me. Because it’s you, Y/N.”
You couldn’t help it.
Yep, time for the waterworks.
“Oh, Luci” you sobbed as you dove to hug him.
He held you tightly as he soothed your pain.
“It’s alright, love. Everything’s alright now.”
After a few minutes of crying and comfort, you sniffled and wiped your eyes. Unable to form words that could convey how you felt, you just looked at your husband, smiling softly, eyes glistening and showing relief, gratitude, and love.
He brought you back into his arms and hummed softly.
— — —
Later that night, when your limbs were intertwined between the sheets, the emotional toll of the day mixed with sleep to loosen your tongue.
“Luci... you don’t feel tied down to me??” Your voice was quiet - scared and hopeful.
“Darling.” Lucifer chuckled before he saw the seriousness on your face.
“We’re married.” He said as he stroked your cheek down to your shoulder.
“But a baby.” You nuzzled into him. “It I don’t know... it kinda ties you to someone forever.” The wetness of your eyes coming back again for what felt like the millionth time that day.
Lucifer shifted, pulling you closer to him and lifting your head so your eyes would meet his.
“Being tied to you for the rest of my life isn’t a prison, my darling - it’s a gift.”

A/N: Hi everyone! This is the second part of Archangel’s Bane! Thank you so so much for the lovely comments, i’m really glad that you liked the first part, i hope you will like this one too! As always, feedback is much appreciated!
Here is the first part Archangel’s Bane . Here is a Lucifer one shot:
Pay me a Visit In Heaven .
Love you all xo xo.
“Do you think this is gonna work?” Sam put his hands on his hips as Dean scanned the table where all the ingredients were displayed.
“I don’t know Sam, nobody ever tried to do this” Cas was right beside him, a thoughtful expression on his face.
“Awesome” Dean stated with a fake smile on his face.
“Alright this is the last one!”
Rowena entered in the library while her red curls twirled in the air, carrying a huge bucket and placing it on the table with a satisfied smile. Dean, Sam and Cas decided to call her as soon as they found out that in order to free this being they needed to perform a spell, and even if she wasn’t fond of the idea, as much as the others, she ultimately decided to help them. After all, Lucifer did terrible things to her, as to everyone else in the room.
“I have a question” Rowena suddenly spoke up “How did you even find this spell?”
Castiel sighed heavily.
“That was not easy. As far as I knew there wasn’t any information about all this story, because God wanted to keep it ‘confidential’. But I guess that even him needed to make some notes about where and how to use this power. The question was where?”
“Luckily, we have been able to find this” Sam turned around and took a strange, round tablet in his hands, holding it tight.
“Look like an Angel Tablet” commented the witch.
“How do you know about the Angel Tablet?” Dean looked a little shocked, as much as the other two.
“Oh boy, I know many things!” she winked in his direction with a smirk, earning a scoff from Dean.
“Anyway, as you might know, in order to read these tablets, you must have a prophet who can translate them, but fortunately, we managed to keep all the notes Kevin had done in the past with the others tablets and we ultimately decrypted the content, and found these ingredients” Sam explained holding in his hands all the notes about the spell.
“Well done boys, I’m actually quite impressed”
“However” he continued “we need a specific ingredient, that we don’t have”
He looked up from the papers and found his brother’s glare upon him, expectantly.
“Which is?” Dean asked.
“Well, uhm, we need...”
“Yes?” his brother urged.
“Archangel’s blood”
“You have to be kidding me” Dean responded in utter frustration, as Cas looked away from him with an irked sigh.
“That could be a problem” Rowena pointed out.
“Well, no shit”
“There’s only one archangel available” Sam kept looking down, his voice just a mumble.
“How? How can we even do that? Oh, hey Satan, just wanted some of your blood to release a thousands years old, powerful being, that you used to love, in order to kill you once and for all, along with your other three brothers” the others kept listening to Dean in complete silence.
That wouldn’t be easy, but the situation was desperate, Lucifer was out there in the world, probably ready to start another apocalypse. Whatever was the price, they should have at least tried.
“Dean I understand what you’re saying, but I can’t see any other possible option. I mean we tried everything in the past months and nothing was able to stop him. This is the chance we were searching for.”
“Sam is right” Cas spoke up.
“I can use a spell to trap him, but it won’t last for too long”
“We just need the time to take some of his blood, and then we are done. We can do this” Sam looked at Dean with hope in his eyes.
His brother stared at Sam deeply for few moments and then spoke up again.
“Then let’s do this”
The plan was simple. As much as taking blood from Satan could be called simple. Rowena prepared the seals and painted them shaping a sort of circle and placing some lit candles around. Dean would have summoned him, Sam was already near the circle, ready to take the sample of blood, and Cas was near Rowena with his angel blade tight in his hand. The bunker’s dungeon was embedded in a dim light, creating a chilling atmosphere all around, as no one dared to utter a word.
“Rowena are you ready?”
“I am”
“You should pass me this recipe” Sam suggested.
“I don’t share my magical knowledge Sam, try again” she smiled at him as he left out a chuckle.
“Alright let’s begin”
The witch opened up her arms looking down at the bowl of mixed herbs in front of her and started.
“In nomine magni, dei nostri Satanas
introibo ad altare, Domini Inferi”
Rowena tossed a match on the herbs as the bowl suddenlly went on fire, a bright red fire, which quickly turned black and then extinguished.
“Hello Sammy” a too much familiar voice spoke up “My old roomy!” he said with a happy voice which sounded even more creepy.
Everyone turned around and found Lucifer standing there, in the middle of the room.
“Lucifer” Sam whispered.
He wiggled his fingers in his direction with a smile.
“Missed me?”
“Ma do eh!” Rowena shouted.
“Oh come on!” Lucifer said.
With that, the circle went on fire, encircling Lucifer as he quickly changed his demeanor.
“What do you want?” he asked dead serious, his eyes flashing red for few moments.
“We need some of your blood” Sam responded bluntly.
“Kinky”
Sam was already going to get it when Lucifer spoke up again.
“OK hold on there, cowboy!” he pointed at him “You have at least explain to me why do you need-ARGH!”
Dean out of nowhere, sprinted towards him and took the blood sample from his arm, catching him off guard.
“I’m going to peel of your skin and eat your soul Dean Winchester!” Lucifer shouted.
“We should keep him there, if we need him again for the spell” Dean stated while running out the dungeon door together along with the others.
“I don’t know if the circle will resist any longer” Rowena pointed out.
“Then let’s do this now”
They all nodded and ran in the library where all the ingredients were already displayed to perform the spell.
Rowena approached the table as she poured the thick red liquid in the bowl.
“Quick Rowena!”
“These things take time, don’t rush me!” she shouted out in frustration. Lucifer loud screams resonated from the dungeon making everyone even more anxious.
“OK here we are”
“Mannen ob ervet
larthe ulli sonnthe
okket mir arvas
yortu re!”
A white light started spreading in the room as a strong wind encircled the guys. It grew stronger and stronger, forcing everyone to hide behind the walls, when suddenly everything stopped and the light started disappearing. The room fell quite.
Dean was the first one to squint behind the wall, soon followed by the others. As soon as they met eyes with her, their mouth opened in awe.
The legend told about a beautiful woman, but she was far beyond that. The first thing they thought was that they never ever in their lives seen such a beautiful creature. Words couldn’t describe her, there is no human word, no language or image that can portray her solemnity. She stood there in the middle of the library, like an ancient Greek marble statue. Superb and deadly. The most holy and severe glare that would ever meet their eyes was right in front of them. It was almost difficult to keep eye contact with her. It was like looking into the sun and into a dark deep celestial hole at the same time.
“Are you Y/n?” Sam slowly took a step forward towards her.
“I am” she responded looking deeply at him.
“Where am I?” she asked, a little confused “How did y-”
She was interrupted by a quickly approaching sound. Footsteps. The lights in the room started flickering, the bricks in the walls trembling.
“It is the end for you Winchesters, I will smite you al-”
Lucifer appeared at the door behind her as she turned towards the sound and saw him. They made eye contact and the expression on Lucifer’s face changed instantly.
At first he couldn’t even recognize her, but he was sure. That was her.

You never knew what you should expect when it came to Lucifer.
Much like a cat, he would bring all kinds of trinkets home for you, everything from quartz collected from undiscovered caves in Australia to colourful, bioluminescent mosses from Japan, to the fragmented shards of a distant comet.
Your bookshelf was lined with each treasure, mesmerizing bric-a-brac to accent the dozens of tomes he had dog-eared during each visit.
But it was the nights that he would gentle rouse you from slumber, a soft smile on his lips, the sparkle of anticipation in his eyes, that would always be among your favourite gifts.
Those nights, he would tug you along on his adventures, the mystery of your destination sparking a trilling buzz of enthusiasm.
Some nights, he would sneak you into forgotten haunts from your childhood. Sometimes, it was to the other side of the globe, mingling with an entirely different society, tasting air you had only dreamed of, becoming fully immersed in a realm you never could have hoped to see in this lifetime. Others, he would offer you the world, the star system, the whole universe if you asked it of him.
Most nights, you thrived on the excitement, were invigorated by the journey ahead.
But on this night, when you were awoken by the gentle brush of fingers tracing the hair from your face, you had simply sighed, rolled onto your stomach, and nearly surrendered once more to sleep, your exhaustion from the day's workload an indomitable foe.
Your antics earned his bemusement, several taunts coated in encouragement falling past upturned lips, weaving together into the perfect medley to chase away all hopes of falling back into blissful rest.
You grumbled out your retorts, acknowledging his desire, but refusing to succumb to the request. You didn't want to move, too content in your comfort to even consider vacating your hideaway.
But he was far more cognizant than you and knew exactly the right words to trigger your curiosity, summon your sense of adventure.
His fingers drifted to your aching shoulders, the cool thrum of his Grace weaving between bone and sinew, banishing all fatigue and aches away.
You opened a solitary eye, scowling at the pleased look on his face, his eyes shining bright in his pride. A huff proceded a melodramatic rise from your bed, all true heat in your words long abandoned as he helped you into your coat.
Still, you made sure to adequately damn him, vocalizing your multitude of complaints about his unannounced arrival.
He took it in stride, soft humour coating each retort he offered in exchange, falling into a familiar banter as you finally finished your preparations for whatever quest he had in store.
The rush of flight was a feeling you were certain you would never grow comfortable with, the volume and speed of his wings transporting you seemingly across entire dimensions in less than a breath.
His jests and jibes fell away upon your arrival, eliciting mild concern as his wings finally settled, your feet growing accustomed to the grassy knoll.
You hadn't questioned his behaviour at first, considering that he was perhaps dispensing pity to your fragile human state. But he was eerily subdued now, his eyes tracing the horizon as he approached the highest crest, a lonely silhouette against the infinite starfield all around you.
It was beautiful, breathtaking- and absolutely heartbreaking to see his normally proud posture ostensibly crumbled in on itself, empyrean marble unveiling fragility.
You approached him, confidently inserting yourself into his space, settling your arms around him, resting your chin on his shoulder.
He turned his head to acknowledge you, eyes slowly drifting from the seemingly endless horizon to study your features.
You paid him no mind, instead taking your time to survey the blazing sky, temporarily breathless in the face of that eternal magnificence, losing yourself in the thousands of patterns displayed among the glistening gems above you.
He turned away once more, his melancholy drifting away with each passing breath, frame relaxing more underneath you.
You yearned for comprehension, wished you could read his mind and rid him of whatever wistfulness was plaguing him.
But he was stubborn as hell, and he would not confide in you until he was ready, should he ever be ready.
That he was willing to share this moment with you was already a miracle unto itself; you would embrace what contentment could be gained from that simple truth.
You, imperfectly humane and fragile, had earned the Devil's trust.
How extraordinary your existence has truly become.
You had left for a hunt hours ago.
alone.
Sam and Dean had no idea where you went, and hadn't heard hide nor tail of you since you left.
It was supposed to be an average demon hunt, but one demon had turned into four, and even a skilled hunter like you knew that it was an unfair fight. The first two demons had been too cocky for their own good, so sure of their own skills that they had completely overlooked the fact that they had none. The third demon put up a better fight, and had managed to get in a few decent hits before you'd plunged the demon blade through her chest. You felt warm blood dripping out of your nose from one of her hits, and hastily tried to wipe it away with your hand. There was only one demon left, and after watching the deaths of the first three, he decided now was a great time to play hide and seek. You searched carefully through all of the upper levels of the house, leaving only the basement as his last hiding place. You reluctantly made your way down the stairs, holding your demon blade in front of you at the ready. Unfortunately you had not been prepared for him to be hiding under the staircase, and was surprised when he grabbed your ankle, sending you tumbling down the rest of the way. The knife sliced into your side on the way down, earning a hiss from you as you landed. You tried to brush it off, but your body screamed in protest when you tried to get up. And now that you were injured, the demon acted too quickly for you to stop him. He landed one kick to your rib cage and knocked you onto your back, and brought his foot down again in the hardest stomp he could manage. The sound of crunching, accompanied by the severe pain was more than enough to tell you something was seriously wrong. It shouldn't be this hard to breathe.... and you could taste blood making its way up into your throat. The demon shakes his head as your vision begins to blur. "Too bad you came out to hunt alone, human... now those Winchester's will never find your body," was the last thing you heard before everything went black.

Lucifer knew right away that something terrible had happened. He was always in tune with you. He felt every emotion that you felt, and while you both were together, he could even read the thoughts that went through your mind. His brilliant white wings were as visible to you as your soul was to him, and both, oddly, could communicate with one another. He had sensed it right away when you were injured. Your soul called out to him as it began to fade, and his wings bristled with the same alarm that rushed through the rest of his body. He had to find you... for the first time in millions of years he thought he was going to physically be sick. Then suddenly his connection with you abruptly stopped, meaning one of two things: you had either lost consciousness, or worse....
He completely lost every ounce of self control he'd been fighting to maintain. He appeared in the bunker immediately, trampling through the rooms like a hurricane until he came across the Winchester's in the library. They stood from the table in alarm, but Lucifer reacted to quickly for them. Before either of them could blink Lucifer had Sam up against the wall with his hand tight around his throat. "Where is she!?" his eyes blazed red. "Where's y/n!?" he screamed out. "Drop him!" Dean shouted, aiming his angel blade at Lucifer's back, "She went on a hunt." Lucifer released Sam and he hit the ground like a ton of bricks. "WHERE!?" "We don't know, she left without telling us where and she isn't answering her phone." Dean drew back his arm to throw the blade when Lucifer started to advance again, but Lucifer stopped cold, feeling your soul call out to him again.
*************************************
You had barely come back into consciousness when the smell of smoke filled your nose, mingling with the smell of caked blood, and taste of blood in your mouth as well was enough to make you gag. The gagging and coughing only made you inhale the blood in your throat causing you to cough more, and pain flared through your abdomen with every breath that you heaved. Taking a moment to look at your surroundings, the realization that the house you lay injured in was on fire came down on you like a paralyzing nightmare you couldn't escape from. All you could do was lay helpless on the dusty basement floor, unable to suppress your sobs of fear. Half of you wanted to cry for your angel to come help, but by the noises the house was beginning to make, calling on him could mean risking his life too. You knew there wasn't long left before the house gave way. A small window on the wall farthest from you was letting in a small amount of light, but any attempt you made to move towards it only left you screaming and coughing up blood all over again. Your gut was twisting in panic as you tried in vain to accept how you were about to die, and heat from the flames were warming your skin.
You layed down flat to ease some of your pain, tears falling freely.
The sudden sound of wings flapping, and a flash of white feathers made you turn your head, startled. You hadn't told anyone where you were going, and you'd refused to call for help to prevent your angel from getting hurt - how the hell had anyone been able to find you? "Y/n!" Lucifer's voice hit your ears, causing a mix of both relief and more panic as he came into your line of sight. "Luce," you cried, as he dropped to his knees beside you and lifted the upper half of your body to cradle you in his arms, and you barely held back a yelp of pain.
No, he can't be here. He has to go. He has to leave before the fire gets him. Before the house falls in and crushes him.
"Y/n, what the hell happened?" worry broke through the rough exterior of his voice. "You have to go," you cried, and inhaled roughly, "please, honey you have to go." "Not without you," he growled out, sliding an arm under your legs and lifting your entire body close to his. The sound of beams breaking from above reached your ears, and as parts of the upper levels began to finally collapse into the basement, the smoke suddenly disappeared. All you saw now was the sky of the setting sun above you, as well as large white wings that were shielding you from the breeze. You were luckily outside of the burning house, both of you covered in falling ash. Lucifer looked down at you, panic showing clearly in his eyes, and he pressed two fingers to your forehead. White lights filled your vision as a comforting heat spread through your body, relaxing you as your wounds healed. You let out a breath of relief as the pain faded, and Lucifer held you tight against his chest, one arm wound around your waist and the other on the side of your head. His vessels heartbeat was erratic. "Luce..." you whispered, after a couple of minutes of being held. He hesitantly loosened his grip, and you pulled back to see a tear streak that had made a clear path down his ash spotted cheek. He had heard your thoughts in the burning building. He had felt the worry in your soul for his own safety even as you lay there dying. "Oh Luce, i'm so- " you began to apologize, but were quickly cut off by one of his hands cradling your head, and angling your face up, his lips colliding with yours in a passionate kiss.
It took your breath away every time you kissed your soulmate. His wings curled around you further, brushing against your skin, and his grip on your waist tightened. He parted from you when you needed to breathe again, and he rested his forehead against yours. "Don't you ever scare me like that again..." he spoke quietly, his tone concealing something you couldn't quite place. You nodded lightly. "Please take me home, Luce..." you asked, exhaustion starting to kick in from today's ordeal. "Of course, angel." he presses a kiss to your forehead and scoops you up, whisking you away to the Winchester's bunker.
