Lucky Catch

Requested by anon. It didn’t turn out as well as I had hope but it was fun to write and I hope you like it!

Unnaturally strong arms wrapped around you while your feet dangled through the air. Non holds you in the air, higher than the surrounding buildings. As you look down at the cars and road below, an overwhelming sense of vertigo overtakes you.You squeeze your eyes shut as Non adjusts his grip, letting you slip some. Non chuckles in your ear.

“Look at you, so helpless. No one can help you, not even your dear Kara. Do you think she’s down there now, watching? I hope so, wouldn’t want her to miss the show.”

You grit your teeth, knowing that Kara couldn’t help you since she blew out her powers. Unbeknownst to you, Kara was nearby trying to get J’onn to come get you from Non.

“I hope your watching Kara!” Non called out, even though she wouldn’t be able to hear him. “I hope you watch as your precious sister falls to the ground, knowing there’s nothing you can do! Goodbye little one.” Non whispered the last part as he let you go.

On the street below, Kara watched as you fell through the air. Tossing aside her phone Kara leapt through the air, feeling her powers come back with the desperation to save you. 

As you fell you felt someone catch you, looking up to see Kara. You meet her worried gaze as she carefully flies you to the DEO. Halfway there you suddenly lurch in her arms and throw up. 

“Hope I didn’t hit someone,” you mutter with a weak smile before you pass out.

OMG I caught a Chansey!! In the Safari zone!! In Pokemon Blue!! I have NEVER managed to catch her before, ever, in the Safari zone!! Not even in the remakes!!

this is really because poor vine suffers from having like no characterization in canon but these also just nothing about these two that really jump out to me unlike other inter team ships with the ace ops.
