Mom is obsessed with finding paper towels. Publix has been out and even though I keep trying to train her on using them sparingly, utilizing rags and other such things instead, she is totally out. I don't think we've been able to find them for a while. I did take a walk to search for paper towels and I did find some which I'll post in the next image. I made it past Mile Marker 6 and I could feel myself wearing down. I needed to pee, I wanted to vomit, my legs were getting sore, and I was feeling exhausted. And then I found this… Just past the 6 Mile Marker. My lifeline. The sign that my daddy was watching over me. The one who has was always my biggest cheerleader for every goal I’ve set and accomplished. I needed this moment to keep me going. There are pennies everywhere I go. Let me say this about my relationship with pennies. Ever since I was a little kid I’ve looked for pennies. I remember once finding three in our local grocery store on various shelves. But then I didn’t find any for a long time. I got smart and started looking for them at home. I found a whole collection of Indian Head pennies in my father’s dresser. I took them discretely one at a time days passing between. I started leaving them in the grocery store strategically placed so I could find them later. I wasn’t interested in keeping them or spending them. Just the miracle of finding them. Many people do not understand this I’m sorry to say. Eventually they were all gone from my father’s drawer.
