for bob/helmut aka fullbob: you know these bitches visit each other's minds regularly. you KNOW when helmut visits bob's mind post-game he cries. you fucking know it

also. yknow how its scientifically proven plants love music? helmut records several songs specifically for bob's plants (asking him for their input obvs)

for queerplatonic ford/otto aka mentaller (im cringe i know): ford is most of otto's impulse control when it comes to inventing fucked up shit

Hey @portalcartoon, thanks again for sending in another ask. I saw this one and got very excited basically instantly. I fell in love with Lucruller as a ship after my first playthrough and now I have an excuse to talk about it! Yeee!

First off, I just love the tragedy the game manages to set up with Ford and Lucy. Lucy was the love of Ford's life and losing her was the worst moment of his life. He makes the worst decision he's ever made in his life because he loves her, and afterwards feels so guilty he can't stand remembering and fractures himself. That's incredibly poetic and it pulled me in immediately. Ford's mindscapes, the little sparse reminders you find of Lucy's presence, the canoes, the letters, the depth in which he loved her? Gosh, I could talk about that all day but then this post would be too long. I'll sum up this part by mentioning that Ford tells Raz something along the lines of "you'll understand when you've fallen in love" because that one's stuck with me.

'They can fix each other' refers to the possibilities of them healing together post-canon because I'm a sucker for that narrative. 'They can make each other worse' refers to some of the messed up decisions both of them (but mostly Ford) made, all in the sake of love. Some of their worst decisions were performed out of a mutual desire to help those they loved, and that is very compelling to me.

Also, they're both just clearly so, so in love with each other and thinking about it is enough to make my teeth rot. It's got just the right amount of fluff potential and angst potential for my brain to go, "omg, yeeeeees."

I'll leave this on a good end note and just say that canoes are very romantic, and I think Double Fine is very big-brained for including that moonlit canoe scene. Still thinking bout it.

Appreciating the different ways the duos of the psychic 7 spend their time before Astralathe procedure.

Cassie & Compton are happily whispering to each other the hot goss they have to each other. Delightful giggles and cackling in the distance and stopping whenever they see Raz nearby. Besties who absolutely know each others’ more sassier and mischievous side.

Bob and Helmut catching up with each other, Helmut theatrically sharing his experience as Bob listens. Then continuing on to their little married banter with each other, talking like they did when they were sharing their dreams on their favourite spot.

Ford and Lucy together again, because everything before was just a big fucking heartbreak that you would wonder if they even met again at all (to remember a stranger reuniting you with your ‘son’; to see the last of her being happy-- giving what he could, being safe without him in her life). 

The last they were with other without the bad stuff was when they were quietly enjoying tea together while reading and doing their own thing next to each other (before Lucy read the news and left to Grulovia) They don’t have any idle chatter to listen to and the fact that they just silently enjoying each others’ company again is especially so sweet to me. Then the dialogue when you talk to them hurhghgh its so cute

Just wanna share my thoughts to you guys

You know, after I made my latest crossover cast, I just have a thought; Imagine a Lucruller Howl's Moving Castle AU where Ford is Sophie and Lucrecia is Howl, and there's everybody else of the Psychonauts Series, but that's all I have to say, but pretty sweet huh?

So, this goes out to the people who likes Howl's Moving Castle and Psychonauts, and the Lucruller Fans out there.
