rank your the members of the squad from most to least favourite and explain why
Number one: Toby was definitely my favorite out of the girls, she and Chole honestly both reminded me of Lia to some extent. She had the best dialogues, she was fun and witty and the connection she found with the girls and the purpose she found in what they were doing was so heartwarming to me. She was so mood too she gave me the best laughs🤣
Number two: Zee Kim my beautiful gossip girly who low-key had a PHD and yet she returned to highschool for the spy job🤭she was so smart and nerdy in a way that didn't feel off putting, and mixing her profiler abilities with her tendency to gossip for the job was so real. She was the one I wished more than anyone to know more about because I feel like there are a lot of things hiding under the surface.
Number three: Lucy Wheeler. She was soooo fun and cutie pie to read and I liked the way she was their glue and kept them together and yet was arguably the most dangerous out of any of them with the whole weapon thingy.
Number four: Brooke Camden. When the first book ended, I wished we got to know more about her. And my wish was fullfiled in book two, her problem with guns and Toby meeting Brooke's mother after their mission failure were my absolute favorite parts of the book. After seeing the way she was tearing herself apart to carry her mother's legacy I immediately went and played "I will die your daughter"
Number five: Tara Leery. It's criminal that we didn't know anything more about her parents. Best partner possible to Toby, and I LOVED their friendship.
Number six: Chole Larson. She and Lia are similar in a way that scratches my brain (in a good way) and when Zee revealed that she used to be a star wars nerd and then turned into the stereotypical popular girl, it made her character even more interesting. Plus her ability and knowledge about the tech stuff was so fun to read and I love that she started to care more about Toby. And I low-key might ship her with Noah, Toby's brother. And Toby herself🤭
Number seven: Bubbles Lane. I wish she got more developed as a character. Sometimes she reminded me of Sloane and Sadie Grace so I had a soft spot for her.
Number eight: the twins, Brittany and Tiffany. Their back and forth with Toby over the make up and make over stuff was so funny to read, and apart from that we really didn't got anything else from them individually as characters.
Number nine: April Manning. The reason I put her so low is because we know next to nothing about her. I love the little bit of ride she gave Toby in the second book, but I wish she was more expanded on.
