This unique bonnet is a great example of how drastically lighting can change the look of a piece!   It was spotted on Lucy Robinson as Mrs. Elton in the 1996 ITV adaptation of 𝑬𝒎𝒎𝒂. But did you know it didn’t originate there?   In 1995, Julia Sawalha wore it to portray Lydia Bennet in 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒋𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒆!   However, the piece almost certainly originated with the 1994 film 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒐, in which Wendy Hughes wore it as Mrs.Worrell.   Find out who else wore it at Bit.ly/Acces163

Book review The Day We Disappeared, by Lucy Robinson *Spoiler Alert*

I recently finished “The Day We Disappeared”; by Lucy Robinson. To be honest I really enjoyed this book.

First of all the book starts quite boring for the first 100 pages. After that, the story gets more and more exciting and I was really eager to find out about Annie and Kate’s secrets. From the very beginning on I knew the characters were going to be really special. I even tried to think about the reason Kate had to run away and I wanted to know Annie’s secret. But gosh I was totally wrong about all of my theories. This book was so amazingly unpredictable. I’ve never read anything like this before. 

To wrap it all up, I love The Day We Disappeared and it is totally worth reading. I am giving it 5 of 5 stars!
