Comparing my new fourteen inch drum to my twelve. The fourteen is a monster! The varnish on the twelve is noticeably darker, not that this matters on stage. This drum was originally power plus depth (11") and was cut down to classic size (8") by Gary Noonan. I then aquired another power depth drum from Mark Haynes @olddrummerrestorations, who refurbishes all my drums. I'm such a completist.
