8, 18, 28 and 38 for Darva?
Darva doesn’t really have a rival, at least not as an adult. He had friendly rivalries with Livonah and Ashby when they were young but that’s all fun competition now really. He can be a grudge holder, but rivals aren’t his style anymore.
18. Upon first meeting cole, were they afraid of him?
Sort of? They didn’t really meet until they arrived in Skyhold and he was more curious of him than afraid. He knew he was a spirit of some kind and one that was helpful rather than malicious.
28. Did they encourage cullen to continue taking lyrium, or to stop? for what reasons?
He encouraged Cullen to stop taking lyrium because Darva knew he was strong enough to make it through the withdrawal and come out of it okay. He had been through worse and would make it through it to become a better person. He needed to be a better person for the sake of himself and the sakes of all the people he hurt.
38. Are there any insults they find to be especially offensive? (i.e. “knife ear”/”rabbit” for elves, “oxmen” for qunari, ect.)
Rabbit and knife ear still sting when he hears them, but he’s gotten a tough skin over the years of hearing it outside the clan. He still hates to be called that and if given provocation he will be rude back. Sometimes it’s being rude through being passive aggressive, or being plain about it, or occasionally violence is required. He’s been on the recieving end of more than enough violence because of his ears + his tattoos; just ask his two missing pinky fingers.
