I had the great good fortune to see, hear, and meet Luis recently in Las Vegas performing with James and then sitting in with Santa Fe and The Fat City Horns with Jerry Lopez and Snuffy, also sitting in. What a night! What a guy! What a percussionist!
Luis also toured with Phil Collins, and Madonna, and recorded with Tony Bennett, Eric Clapton, Dave Mathews, Jackson Browne, Randy Newman, Selena Gomez, Sergio Mendez, Ray Charles, Beck, Shakira, Cher, Goo Goo Dolls, Julio Iglesias, Chaka Kahn, Queen Latifa, Ozzy Osborne, Julian Lennon, Roger Water, Steve Winwood, and Barbara Streisand to name just some!
