Apo gets overstimulated, and with her lack of sleep, is exhausted. Cherri notices and decides to force her to take care of herself.
This is the warning, it’s pre nsfw (dark idea for what happen to lucifer). But this was just playing around with the idea that as the oldest and one who his brothers look up too, he buried a lot of his emotions. So what happens when Lucifer is force into an angel form he hates.

They had been called to the main student council room again, likely for another event that Diavolo was trying to put together, that seemed to be the only real reason he called everyone to this damn room after all. Maybe too much of Mammon’s opinions were rubbing off on her, she should probably watch it.
“We are having an event” Diavolo said with a big smile, Barbatos and Lucifer had blank expressions just one flinch away from an annoyance. Yuki turned to look at Mammon with a raised eyebrow giving him a silent question, as Mammon replied with rolling his eyes.
“This event will revolve around the Celestial realm” Diavolo said with a smile and laugh “They want to show their appreciation about our musical.”
“Ah yess that was wonderful” Simeon said with a laugh “We want to show our approaching and host this event.”
“I don’t see why we need to be here,” Mammon grumbled out.
“Quiet,” Luke said forcefully.
“Oi don’t tell me what to do Fido” Mammon said back, causing the Greed demon to start bickering with the smaller angel.
“Both of you knock if off” Lucifer growled out as he grabbed both of them by the back of the collars, causing the two to flinch at his anger.
“Will they have food?” Beelzebub asked with his signature smile.
“Sounds like a bore, will it be a tie event?” Belphegor asked as he fought to keep his eyes open “I hate thoughts.”
“I love those suit and tie events” Asmodeus said with a smile “Hey wouldn’t it be fun if we dressed up as angels?”
“NO” Several of the brothers said at once, Yuki couldn’t separate all the voices.
“Aww you're no fun” Asmodeus said as he puffed out his cheeks “Why not just a cute pair of angel wings?”
The response was a loud no again, which Asmodeus puffed out his cheeks more in anger, though this time he was stopped by laughter.
“I love the sentiment Asmodeus but there is really no need to go through all that trouble” Simeon said with a laugh “In fact we have a gift for you all, the only thing we asked is that you wear them.”
Luke picked up a box that he quickly handed it to Simeon who quickly thanked the smaller angel before he removed the lid of the book. Golden bands line the box in many different styles and designs to them. The older angel walked around the room as he picked out bands from the box and handed them to the group. Some like Mammon and Asmo happily took the jewelry and plopped it onto their wrist. Others like Lucifer and Belphe didn’t at first, but when it became clear that Simeon wasn’t going to move they reluctantly put them on, Belphe sleepily slid his on, while Lucifer placed his while the expression on his face read ‘happy now?’ Even Solomon and Yuki got bands too, though Yuki quickly noticed they were nothing like the fancy engraved ones the demon brothers got.
“Everyone got a bracelet?” Simeon asked the group “Micheal asked that I hand them out as a sign of thanks.”
“Michael uh? So their probably real gold” Mammon muttered as he tapped the new jewelry, probably thinking about selling it later.
“He said he charmed them himself,” Simeon explained.
“Wha-?” Lucifer tried to ask.
However the room was quickly filled with a bright golden light that all came from the bracelets. Yuki had to close their eyes so she wouldn’t be blinded by the light.
“Owww” Yuki muttered out.
“What the shit!” Mammon's voice rang out causing Yuki to finally open their eyes and for a moment wonder if she died.
As she looked around Yuki realized all the demon brothers were now wearing angel garbs, the seven brothers now wearing beautiful outfits of white, gold, blues and purples, white feathers also appeared, though most of the younger brothers never brought out their wings to begin with. The only demons who were safe from the unknown transformation were Diavolo and Barbtos as all the others now had what seemed to be the pure gold halos.
“Wow, you all look amazing. This sure brings back memories” Simeon said with a smile “I didn’t realize this was what Micheal meant by surprise.”
“This feels wrong,” Luke muttered out.
“I agree with Luke,” Yuki said.
“Hey don’t be debbie downers” Asmodeus said with a smile as he gave a small twirl “I think we look so cute”
“I don’t like it” Luke commented louder.
“Agreed,” Belphe said through annoyance.
“Let’s get out of stupid outfit” Mammon said as he went to take off the band but after a few tugs, it still wouldn’t come off “Hey, what gives?”
“Heheh I guess Micheal thought of everything” Simeon said before asking “Why don’t you help out with the event while your still in this form?”
“Hey why are you asking them?” Luke cried out.
“It’s alright, I’ll work on getting them off” Diavolo said with a laugh “I didn’t realize the angels can be such pranksters.”
“Hm now that is settled we should probably break out the groups for tasks” Simeon said causing the demon brothers to groan.
Simeon paired up the demons and gave them ideas to work on, a big smile on his face while the others frowned and grumbled. Simeon turned to face the missing eldest brother of the group, looking as if he was searching for an old friend before his expression shifted to horror causing the other to follow his eyes.
“ get off..Get it off” Lucifer said through shacking breaths. Despite how handsome Lucifer should have looked in the white golden and blue outfit he was wearing, especially the six pure white wings that were attached to his back. Even his black hair and red eyes would have fit in if not for the face was not the stoick one they were used to. Lucifer let out small shaky breaths, sweat beaming off his forehead as his fingers tried to pry the bracelet, only for his hand to slip, slicing and bringing up blood “GET IT OFF!”
Everyone watched on in horror and stunned silence, even at his angriest, even when he was ready to burn the world down, Lucifer always held an air of calm to himself. He always had a persona that he was the one in control, that he was always calm even in a fit of rage…This…this was new.
“Lucifer, lets calm down” Mammon said with sternness his brothers didn’t know he possessed. The sound caused Lucifer to look up, but he didn’t focus on his younger brother, now his eyes flew past him and locked onto the larger angel responsible for all of this.
“You!” Lucifer snarled out before he rushed towards the angel, Simeon was lucky that Mammon was already in front, as he caught the other brother “HOW COULD YOU?! HOW DARE YOU TORMENT ME WITH THIS FORM! HAVEN’T I SUFFER ENOUGH BY YOUR HANDS?! I’LL KILL YOU! I MAKE YOU EXPERIENCE MY SUFFERING!”
“Diavolo! House Lamentation! NOW!” Mammon screamed as he held back his brother. Normally anyone would be punished for darning to speak to the prince of Devildom in that tone, yet no one seemed to care.
Diavolo made it over to the two eldest brothers and in a flash of red light all three were gone, likely back home.
The silence held a tension no one dared to break, the rest of the brothers stared at where Lucifer and Mammon once were as if waiting for them to wake up from this bad dream. Meanwhile Luke held Simeon’s hand in a vice-like grip, Simeon stared at the same spot the brothers were trying to process what happened.
“What did you do to him?” Yuki's voice broke the silence causing everyone to turn towards her.
“...nothing..only thing I could think of is the war” Simeon sputter out as he tried to gather his thought “Lucifer adored his wings and looks in the Celestial realm, I though, Micheal thought he would enjoy seeing that for-”
“That was a panic attack” Yuki interrupted.
“What?” Simeon asked as the other brothers mirrored his question.
“Before he saw you that was a panic attack, the shaking, the breathing” Yuki explained “I have them..you're so stressed that you feel like your body is going to die.”
“I..I don’t know” Simeon admitted “I don’t know why he reacted like that..”
Yuki looked around at the other brothers for an answer, all shaking their head no or having the some horrible expression that Simeon had.
“I’m sorry, this was supposed to be fun” Simeon said “We will focus on the event, I will get into contact with Micheal and figure out how to get the bracelets off….Will you let Lucifer know I’m sorry?”
Yuki didn’t respond verbally but gave a nod to indicate she would talk to him. Simeon quickly left, taking a stunned and scared Luke with him.
“We should go check on Lucifer,” Beel said finally speaking. The brother nodded, none really wanting to speak.
They began their walk back to their house, not caring about the weird looks they were given, just two things ran through the group's mind. One, was Lucifer ok? And Two, what the hell happened to make him react like that?

The in-between chapters are the one that take place between the actually book chapters. This is my soulmate au, enjoy some of Yuu and Grim’s daily life.

It had been two weeks since Yuu had suddenly appeared in this world of Twisted Wonderland and had taken residence in the ‘abandon’ Ramshackle Dorm considering the mirror didn’t place them in any other dorm. Any other person would probably be overwhelmed considering they were in another world of magic and were now not only looking after themselves but a little fire monster named Grim.
However Yuu wasn’t most people and had taken to the school as a fish does to water. Though it wasn’t the easiest, like the first day of classes Yuu and Grim had been in such a rush they had skipped breakfast which lead to Grim literally eating their work in class, apparently the paper was super tasty.
Thankfully Yuu found a way around it in the form of the ghosts Phineas Ezra and Gus had taken to helping Yuu. Originally Yuu had taken to getting up an hour or so earlier then they had to leave to make breakfast for him and Grim. However now it seems Phineas, Ezra and Gus had taken to preparing most of it, only waking Yuu to actually cook their food.
It’s why today, despite needing to leave in about ten minutes Yuu was ready with Grim, he was wearing the school uniform, making him stand out less and had four breakfast burritos ready to go, two for him and Grim, and the other two were for Ace and Deuce. Ace just had a history of stealing Yuu’s food while Deuce was too sweet to ask for food, Yuu could tell the poor student was hungry.
As they began to head to class, Yuu opened the door to be greeted by Ace, smiling like he didn’t try to spend the night at Ramshackle dorm before Yuu had siked the ghosts on him to make him leave.
“Hey Yuu” Ace said with a smile, taking note of Yuu’s he/him pin.
“Here’s your food” Yuu said, handing him the breakfast burrito and rushed out the door with Grim. The freshmen smirked and immediately began to dive into food he was given, Grim jumping into Yuu’s arms so he could enjoy his food. It seemed to be common for Grim to either ride in Yuu’s arms or backpack, mainly to keep his little paws free to do stuff.
It didn’t take long for the group of students to get their first class of the day, always run by Mozus Trein.
One thing that Yuu notice was how the teacher’s reaction to him. Mozus Trein seemed to favor Yuu but at the same time was hard on the magicless student. Soon after Yuu joined Trein classes the teacher made it very clear he seemed to like Yuu, despite the fact Grim seemed to have a glaring contest with Lucius, Yuu was always able to redirect the little fire monster. Yuu also seems to be able to keep Ace on topic, even if the poor boy’s ribs get bruised in the process. Trein showed some favoritism when it came to the topic of bullying, more than once when one of the students made a snarking comment about Yuu, Trein would immediately quip back and assign essays to them. However despite those little favorite ideas, Trein also seemed to pick on Yuu too, or at least made it clear to the student that Yuu wasn’t always getting special treatment. Trein would mostly call on Yuu even if it was clear the poor human didn’t know the answer, which would make them burn with embarrassment. Though thankfully Deuce could most of the time whisper the answer to Yuu.
The next teacher is Divus Crewel, the one in charge of potion class, who has a love of order. The class was different as Grim had to be careful, unless he wished to fall into the giant calduran filled with a potion. So more often than not Grim in his little coat and goggles, sat on Yuu’s shoulders as Yuu would work on his potions. Yuu was considered a floater in the class, they were good in potion class however considering the class was an odd number it would be Yuu and Grim needed to work alone or join another pair. Though working alone could be considered a blessing seeing how Deuce and Ace always seemed to explode their potion. Yuu was the best student he could be, following orders and never causing too much chaos, unlike most students who seem to like throwing spells at one another while they work. Though it was unsure if Crewel actually favored the magicless student or just tolerated him like most of his ‘responsible’ students.
Lunches were a fun little experiment, as Yuu did tried his best to talk to people and make new friends, however most seemed to just ignore him, probably for two reasons. One because of the rumor of them being cursed, which to be fair Yuu didn’t know the nature of curses of this world so he could understand them being safe. Two were the two self appointed bodyguards Ace and Deuce, or tweedle Dee and Dum as Yuu like to call them, who refuse to leave his side had also gotten a reputation for causing chaos after the whole chandelier incident. Yuu was thankful that they stopped any possible bullies but he got a feeling Ace just stuck around since the cafetera ghost like Yuu and always gave them first pickings of their best food.
Though one thing Yuu and Grim had the same reaction after lunch, that they had a dislike of PE that was run by Ashton Vargas. Unlike most students which would fly on brooms, Yuu obviously couldn’t do that and after the disaster Grim and Ace flight disaster Grim was also grounded. Vargas wouldn’t allow two students to do nothing and always pushed them to make up for the lack of physical activity, anything from running, dodge ball or any other game. While Yuu wasn't the most active student he had many experiences of running away from his horrible family, so he took to activities like running and track. Grim on the other hand was not as lucky, he wasn’t super active to begin with, often being carried by Yuu around and saving up his energy for magic. Grim hated trying to run next to Yuu always so many steps behind him, the little fire monster always voiced his hatred for the coach after every class. Let's say after the first couple classes Yuu began to pack snacks and water after class so he wouldn’t complain for the rest of the day.
While most students would get a choice of electives Yuu didn’t have that luxury, though thankfully this was the first time Yuu had a class without Ace and Deuce. Yuu alongside Grim were assigned a ‘culture/history class’ probably likely assigned by Crowley. Sam mainly taught it, but other teachers and speakers came in from all over Twisted Wonderland to explain how the world works and the difference between the cultures around the world. It was probably the easiest class considering the lack of homework, having to keep a rein on Ace and Deuce and not having to deal with bullies. It was a great way to close the classes of the day.
After that Yuu mostly ended up back at Ramshackle or the library to work on his homework, sometimes dragging Ace and Deuce along to make sure they finish up their work, though Ace normally found a way of making homework time into chaos time.
Honestly Yuu is sometimes surprised by how much time Ace and Deuce spend at Ramshackle, Deuce had said all the rooms were very crowded and he wanted some more one on one time to get to know his soulmate, Ace had just said he hated the chores and his headwarden was a tyrant. Deuce sputtered at the crassness of it. By the time it had gotten dark and Yuu had freed the two freeloaders, he had finally got them to go back to their dorm, with a little help from the ghosts.
Yuu was currently trying to get ready for bed, Grim had opted for a bowl of warm milk to help him sleep, Yuu on the other hand went for a walk outside as the ghost, named Gus, was currently handling the warm hot chocolate to help Yuu sleep.
It was the first time Yuu had actually explored the grounds at night, seeing it light up with the natural ghost lights cause the dorm to glow, it was absolutely beautiful. Though a sound immediately pulled him away.
A tall boy with black horns stood by the trees “Hm? Who’s over here?”
“Um hello?” Yuu offered to get the boy's attention, though he didn’t know if he could call him a boy considering he was a full head taller than Yuu.
“Well, this is a surprise, you’re the child of man that’s cursed aren't you?” The teen said his toxic green eyes looking at Yuu with curiosity “Do you live here? I was under the impression that this dorm was abandoned, I enjoyed having the peace of solitude.”
“Would you like to have some hot chocolate?” Yuu asked out of nowhere, mainly because the teen’s tone made him sad like when Yuu lost their comfort space but also they would be a bad host if he left him alone.
The teen stood frozen for a second at the question “you’re inviting me?”
Yuu nodded with a smile.
“Sure,” he finally replied.
Yuu ran inside to quickly get two mugs, filling both with the hot chocolate the ghost had made before returning back, walking over the mysterious boy to where the patio furniture was at, they had once been eaten by time but now we're returning to former glory. Yuu offered one to the mysterious boy and they both sat down to drink. Yuu did their best to not laugh when they saw the boy’s face light up when he first took a drink of the chocolate, reminding him of a kid when they first experienced a sugar rush.
“By the way” Yuu said getting the boy’s attention “I never got a chance to ask, who are you?”
The boy with horns stop moving before looking at Yuu “Who am I…? You really don’t know. Who am I? Interesting…What is your name?”
“I’m the dorm prefect of Ramshackle, Yuu” Yuu offered to the boy.
“Yuu…an unusual name to be sure. Yet it sounds so familiar, your reputation must be spreading” The boy said with a smile “I am…no, never mind. I’d rather you remain unaware.”
“Hmf, that’s kind of rude” Yuu said “I have nothing to call you then.”
“It's for your own benefit, I assure you. Instead, I will permit you to call by a name of your choosing.” The boy replied back.
“Why..” Yuu started.
“Hey human” Grim mutter out as he walked outside, probably gone to look for Yuu sense it was bedtime and he wasn’t in bed “Why are you out here? And who’s the tall boy?”
Yuu and the boy stared at Grim for a second before he got his thoughts back in line.
“Hey Grim, I was out here meeting a guest, however he refuses to tell me his name, so I have no idea what to call him” Yuu said with a half hearted glare at the mysterious boy.
“Hmmm” Grim said as he jumped into Yuu’s lap “How about Hornton? He has horns it fits”
Yuu got a sinister smirk. “Yes, your nickname will be Hornton until you give us your real name.”
The boy, now dubbed Hornton, stared for a moment, Yuu expected him to pout or complain and give him his rule name but instead the boy let out a laugh followed by chuckles “Yes, Hornton, you may call me Hornton.”
Yuu just rolled his eyes and began to pet Grim, Hornton just began to make small talk mostly about the statues surrounding Ramshackle and the ones stationed on the roof. Yuu slowly felt the tension melt away and just enjoyed the time with Hornton, before the conversation went back to Yuu.
“There are rumors going around that you’re cursed? That your magic is bound?” Hornton asked “Are they true?”
Yuu let out a sigh “Sadly yes, at least that’s what the mirror said when I first got here.”
“What a horrible crime, the villain probably tore off fae wings as a fun pastime” Hornton grumbled . Yuu could have sworn they saw green flames leave his mouth but he quickly turned back to Yuu “Please allow me to help.”
Yuu's brain froze as he watched Hornton set down his mug before taking on one of the black gloves, revealing very pale skin but black sharp nails.
“You don’t have to try Hornton” Yuu offered as they brought his hands up in a stopping motion “the teachers have tried and nothing worked, please don’t burden yourself.”
Hornton gained a knowing smile before saying “Please humor me child of man, as my friend?”
Yuu thought about it for a moment before letting out another sign, it would be nice to have another friend that isn’t a troublemaker, plus Hornton seems very pleasant, he wouldn’t be the type to hurt Yuu.
“Fine, but please don’t overdo it” Yuu said “It’s ok if you can’t break it.”
Hornton just smiled before he brought his bare hand closer to you, green magic swirled around it before it began to swirl around Yuu as well, his grip tightening on Grim as it got closer. Hornton just stared at Yuu as if trying to see the bound along with Yuu’s possible magic, eventually his eyes narrow as if trying to look closer.
Suddenly a bluish purple bolt of magic popped off of Yuu, striking Hornton's exposed hand causing him to pull back in pain.
“Hornton!” Yuu shot up out of shock causing Grim to go crashing down out of his lap as his human rushed towards his new friend.
“It’s alright” Hornton said as Yuu grabbed his hand, both watching as the burnt skin slowly disappear into healthy skin “I just wasn’t expecting that.”
“I’m sorry” Yuu apologize, as if was the only thing he could think of.
“It’s not your fault” Hornton said with a smile before it shifted to a frown as he muttered to himself “why? Who would know enough about fae to guard the bound against fae magic as well?”
“What?” Yuu asked, not hearing what he was muttering.
“I shall take my leave Yuu” Hornton said as he stood up “I have a friend I must ask about your case, possibly they can help.”
Before Yuu could say anything Hornton smile before disappearing in a flash of light, leaving smile like fireflies as Yuu and Grim just stood in shock.
“He left” Yuu just muttered thinking they had ruined a friendship before it had even started.
“Come on, forget about him,” Grim said, using his little paws to shake Yuu out of their negative thoughts.
Yuu just shoots his head before opting to follow Grim, wanting the sweet bliss of sleep after the day he had.
The in between chapter between the first and second book for my soulmate au…enjoy the angst.
It was a calm day for once in the Night Raven Collage school but consider all that had happen in the last couple of week Yuu welcome it with open arms. Riddle’s overblot had taken a lot mentally out of the poor magicless student, add the fact that soon after the Heartslabyul boys nearly demanded Yuu transfer, yeah they would welcome the peace.
This is what brought Yuu to the current moment, as they were currently in a small garden they had set up close to Ramshackle, full of herbs and other materials. Yuu was lost in thought as they picked herbs for their breakfast..lunch?
Yuu sighed, Yuu sleep schedule had been off since the overblot incident, mainly due to Grim’s nightmare. Yuu could still remember the cat creature screams that woke them all up, how he clinged to Yuu nearly clawing them begging to not let the monster eat him. Yuu had assume the fight had messed with Grim, as he was see that overblotted queen that tried to hit him with a rosebush. Yuu knew that wasn’t the case, as when Grim finally started to tell little bits about his nightmare it was nothing like that horrible monster they had fought, mainly how he describes it’s eyes and teeth.
Yuu shook their head as they continued to gather, Grim hadn’t told them much, as if he was scared to talk about it. Much like Yuu was with their nightmares, Grim was the stubborn that Yuu appeared to be. Either way Yuu tried their best to help, they ended up on Grim horrible sleep schedule, where the little fire monster would wake him up less he fall into dreams again.
Crewel realized the poor students looked like death warmed over and after some light scolding, he finally got an answer out of Yuu. The potion professor was nice enough to take pity on them and gave Yuu and Grim potions to keep away nightmares. This is why despite the fact it was probably closer to noon, Grim was still asleep, it was finally his first full night of uninterrupted sleep and Yuu wasn’t going to wake him up.
“FLOYD!!!” A voice screamed out, yanking Yuu out of their thoughts. The poor magicless student was only able to turn their head before something slammed and fell onto them, it honestly felt like a truck hit them.
“Ohh! “ The voice above him said.
“Hehehe It seems Floyd made a friend,” another voice said.
“Floyd! Really?” Another voice said with annoyance.
Yuu was able to open their eyes, and was greeted by three people. Two were probably twins since they looked exactly alike, well it was hard to tell their differences considering one was currently right in their face. The other, the odd boy out, was smaller then two, probably head smaller then the two. He had white curly hair and his eyes were hidden by glasses, though considering the expression Yuu could see, was one of annoyance.
“Ehh. Your so small, I didn’t even see you” The teal haired boy closes to them said, before he gestured to their pink shirt “All pink just like a shrimp..you're a little shrimpy”
The boy's hands immediately went to Yuu’s cheeks and began to pinch them with a smile. Yuu's smile dropped as they tried to pry the boys hands off their cheeks.
“There it is,” The white haired boy said as he picked up something that was dropped. However the other teal haired boy immediately snatched it from the boy's hands. He held it high above his head as the white haired boy tried to grab it “Jade! Give it back! I swear I’ll put you both on double shifts!”
The other boy finally stopped his pinching as he got off the group and went over to the other side of the white haired boy.
“Ehh Azul you were wasting away” the other tall look alike said as he nearly floped onto the small boy “it was so boring waiting for you.”
“Then both of you eat on your own” the boy, which Yuu assumed was Azul screamed “Now give that contract back!”
He tried to reach for the golden thing in one of the twins' hands, nearly climbing the boy except the other twin intercept grabbing the white haired boy.
It soon translated into bickering as the one, dubbed Azul was trying constantly trying to hit the two larger ones. Yuu started on before realizing two things. One is apparently the problem was revolving food, mainly the Azul wasn’t eating a lot. And two, that if Yuu didn’t say anything they would likely spend all day arguing.
“Enough!” Yuu screamed out causing the three boys to freeze in place “Listen if I feed you guys will you stop screaming in my garden? It seems you are concerned about making sure one of you eats right?”
“You don’t have to-” The white haired boy said before a hand flew over his mouth.
“Ahhhh shrimpy is super nice” One of the twins said with a goofy smile.
“Well can I at least know you guys' names?” Yuu asked in annoyance.
“I am Azul” The white hair boy said as he finally freed his mouth, “And these two troublemakers are Jade and Floyd.”
“Azul is so mean” One twin said, Yuu realizing his black strick was on the right side of his face, “I’m Floyd, Shrimpy.”
“I am Jade” The other twin said, his black strick was on the left side of his face. “It is so kind of you to offer to cook for us, what shall you be serving us?”
“Well what do you want?” Yuu asked the group.
The three soon broke out into bickering yet again, Azul had voiced that he wanted something healthy. The twins began to talk about a lot of meat, which had made sense considering they had sharp teeth peaking out of their smiles. Floyd kept talking about octopus though that caused Azul to hit him, while Jade made a comment about wanting a mushroom dish, which earned a no from Floyd and Azul.
Yuu sighed before they began to head to the kitchen, the three boys began to follow the magicless student like little duckys. Eventually the three student’s argument slowly went from food to just random talking, as Yuu prepare food for them. Yuu was counting small blessings as Grim was still asleep, less the little fire monster caused more chaos.
The only real excitement was when Floyd had made the comment about wanting to squeeze Yuu, to which Yuu stabbed the counter with their cooking knife and dared him to try it. Floyd's reaction was unexpected as he just laughed at the threat before commenting how much he likes shrimpy.
Yuu was shocked by the reaction but just went back to cooking, as the sooner they finished their cooking, then the others could eat and there would actually be peace in the Ramshackle dorm.
Finally the dishes were done Yuu offered them to the group, only eating a small plate for themselves. Azul liked the eggs and greens, Jade absolutely adored the mushroom buns that Yuu was experimenting with, and Floyd ate all the meat from eggs, beef and pork with a bright smile.
“Wow these are really good,” Floyd commented.
“Have you finished eating? Then leave” Yuu said with all the bluntness.
“This food is fascinating” Azul commented “You should come work at the lounge.”
“No thanks, please leave, I need to clean” Yuu answered back.
“My my maybe we should just take them back to Octavinelle?” Jade said.
“LEAVE!” Yuu said.
Eventually Yuu finally got the three to finally leave, though not before having to give their cell phone number to them and promising to go to the lounge located in Octavinelle. Finally Yuu breathed a sigh of relief and reminded themselves that apparently everyone in the school was as stubborn as the Heartslabyul group.
Yuu day pretty calm after the chaos of the morning, as after they group left all Yuu plans just involved cleaning around their dorm and catching up on homework the overblot cause Yuu to push to the side.
Grim eventually came down from sleeping though he mostly just laid around as Yuu began to work around. It was somewhat peaceful, the only other piece of excitement was Horton, however Yuu only caught a glimpse of him in the distance and by the time they had gotten to the door to invite him in he was nowhere to be found. The day eventually ended and as the sun set below the horizon they realized it was time to go to bed.
As Yuu changed into the pajamas and laid down into bed, Grim soon joined them. Worry written across his face.
“I’m worried I’ll get another nightmare” Grim finally admitted to his human, though Yuu realize that early on.
“I’ll hold you if it makes you feel better?” Yuu said as they picked up Grim. As they laid on their side and held Grim close by.
“....I’m unsure” Grim muttered quietly, trying to bury his face into Yuu’s clothes.
“Would you like me to sing to you?” Yuu asked to the little gray furball, eventually Yuu felt a nod come from the cat. Yuu slowly down their breathing as they thought of a song.

I loved you like the sun’
The soft lyrics slowly drifted into the air.
‘Bore the shadows that you made
With no light of my own’
Yuu brought their head closer to Grim, finding comfort in the blue flames coming from his ears, his breathing finally slowing down.
‘I shine only with the light you gave me
I shine only with the light you gave me’
As the last lyrics drifted through the air both Yuu and Grim were dragged into a peaceful dreamless sleep.
Well it was mostly a dreamless night, as soon Grim was greeted to sounds and figures into the darkness all so close as if they were hidden behind his eyelids.
‘What are you doing to name him?’ a male voice asked from the darkness.
‘Grim’ A female voice replied cheerfully.
‘Grim? What a peculiar name..are you sure?’ the male asked again and was greeted with giggles.
‘Yes. He will be my Grim, the greatest mage! He will control the seas and skies one day!’ The female voice in an almost sing song type way.
‘I’m sure he will!’ The male voice said with a laugh.
‘My little Grim’ The female voice added again.
It would all be forgotten by tomorrow morning, even before he returned to the land of the living once again, but in that moment Grim opened up his eyes, small tears falling on the bed as he called out into the darkness.
