"Feathered rainbow"

So glad to finally call this piece done, not really happy with the texture of the paper that is impossible to smooth out but i wanted to try the powder blender on it lol (which worked fantastic on this paper btw) Derwent procolour, Faber Castell Polychromos and Caran'dache Luminance +titanium white, powder blender and textured fixative (by Brush&PencilsAlyona Nickelsen) on A4-ish Uart800 grit paper. Own reference photo used of a gorgeous splendid grass parakeet that lives in a park near my house :)

Still need to do quite a bit on this one but it is getting there :) That texture fixative (brush&pencil) is a life saver <3

Despite all the trouble and set back i had today with my mac broken i had to make do with my old poopy laptop to finish this one, i'm glad despite it all that i made it :3 

But one thing is for sure....i will never buy a an apple computer again, cus if it breaks you can’t fix it so there goes the big load of money you invested in it....;(

Polychromos+Luminance and white prisma color + Zest-it solvent and white gelpen/acrylic on fabriano artistico hp cotton (a bit larger then A5) from my own reference photo.

Spent quite some time this weekend at an art supplies store. Pro Tip: If it's really hot outside and you plan on strolling through a park for two or three hours, buy the paper afterwards.
