So wouldn't it make sense for Cp9 to grab robin, mako, and Franky? The older 2 for obvious reasons but I figured that if they haven't figured out mako true identity. They would at least grab her for a lure for Jinbei , the Boa sisters or Shanks like what they did for Ace.
tbh grabbing Mako for Shanks lure might be more of a post Water 7 arc, because that's also when another truth comes out cuz they know Mako's been with Shanks on his ship, and that Robin was ESPECIALLY involved, but it's when Mako goes to Spandam and says, "Wait until our father hears about this!!", because she's been entirely pissy about it all, the way Robin's trauma is purposely being used against her and everything behind it, as the past comes to rear its ugly head for a survivor, and Luffy is like "Oh, you mean Shanks? Yeah he's gonna be mad, BUT I'M HERE FIRST!!"

If you need anything for a past issue to pop up, it'd be post Sabaody Island, cuz that is when the REAL truth about Mako's past comes out. Because Disco was the one who sold her mother, alongside the Boa sisters. They were all there together.
Hancock doesn't know anything about it, but the instants she hears about it, she'd get incredibly terrified, but also incredibly sad because now she knows what became of the former Kuja Pirates navigator. but in the case of Luffy, he'd be the one who have an even bigger understanding when he hears her story. And keeps anyone from seeing their brand.
In the case of Jinbei, it wouldn't be an obvious Sun Pirate issue, since he'd want to keep that quiet, because no one can find out about Mako's lineage, because if it comes out, that's about as damning as a brand. But he still shows a soft spot towards her, amongst the Warlords. Alongside Mihawk too.
Mihawk KNOWS, and Jinbei knows HE knows. But they keep quiet about it. Though, at the side, you could've expected Mihawk to pass pictures of a baby Mako to for Jinbei to pass on to her bio dad, because he never even had a chance to hold her and he just wants to know that she's thriving.
Now Mako being grabbed to keep a hold on Robin is a surefire way for her to just focus more on sacrificing herself for those closer to her. Because Robin doesn't want ANYONE to find out about Mako's parentage. and if they have her, the chances of them finding out goes up higher and so does the chance of her being returned to Mariejois. So Robin has so much to fear. so yes :V
