(Part 5) (end)
Team Rocket, still dazed from Solrock’s Psychic attack, fall out of the space shuttle and are recovering from the attack. Then, Liza and May show up, furious at Team Rocket for putting their little brothers in danger. Team Rocket becomes very frightened.
May and Liza (simultaneously): Nobody messes with my little brother!
May furiously orders Combusken to use Flamethower on Team Rocket, and it does so, roasting Team Rocket. Then, Liza furiously orders Lunastone to use Ice Beam on Team Rocket, and it does so, freezing Team Rocket in an ice block shaped like a space shuttle. Ash tells Pikachu to use Iron Tail, and Pikachu does so, sending Team Rocket blasting off again.

AG 103 - "It's Still Rocket Roll to Me"
With the new version of the Groudon VS Kyogre situation planned, this would mean that after that scenario, Ash, May, Max, and Brock have already met Tate and Liza.
In fact, this would be the twins’ 4th episode, or at least their 4th appearance episode. Just thought I’d let you all know about that.
And the plot is down below. Enjoy reading. ^^
With the Groudon VS Kyogre crisis over, and with the reconstruction (lead by Steven Stone, Sydney, Phoebe, Glacia, and Drake) underway, the heroes have arrived in Mossdeep City. Although May wants to go sightseeing, Ash wonts to get one thing over with in town: to get the seventh badge, the Mind Badge, from the Mossdeep City Gym. They come to the Gym, but a woman runs out of it, greeting the heroes. They ask her where the Gym leader is, but she replies everyone is going to see the space shuttle launch. Max is interested, while the woman runs off to watch the launch. Brock realizes he forgot to tell them about the Mossdeep Research Center. Max explains there have been a number of space shuttle launches, some of which were experimental to search around space for undiscovered Pokémon. Max and May begin to plan what to see there, but Ash, wanting to get the Gym Battle over with first, denies any of that. Max is says he’s interested of watching the lift-off himself. However, Ash orders him to forget it before glaring at Max and telling him that they'll be going to the Space Center only to find the Gym Leader. In response, Max pretends to apologize while thinking to himself that once they get there, Ash will want to see the launch as well.
The woman, Rachael, which the heroes saw before, tells the astronaut all systems are fine. Team Rocket sees the space shuttle, so Meowth thinks boss of Team *Rocket* would use the rocket to conquer the galaxy, all for himself and reward them. Ash and his friends soon enter the Space Center, wandering into a room filled with various astronaut training machines. Everyone is keen to just look at the contraptions, except for Ash who straps himself into a multi-axis trainer (MAT) device and presses the "on" button. The MAT begins to rotate and spin rapidly, taking Ash and Pikachu by surprise. Finally, Pikachu braces himself against Ash and stretches his tail towards the blue button, just managing to stop the ride. Ash and Pikachu stagger towards the others, who are unimpressed by Ash's recklessness, as they roast him by telling him that there’s a price to pay for touching stuff, and Ash, feeling very bad, collapses on the ground from the dizziness. Ash complains that the room won't stop spinning, but from his prone position on the floor sees some lights from some low windows in a nearby room. Curious but too dizzy to walk he crawls forward and peeks in, and inside he sees Tate and Liza battling. Tate’s Solrock goes to tackle, and so does Liza's Lunatone. Tate orders Solrock to use Sandstorm, but nothing happens, for the Liza's Lunatone is part Rock type as well.
Lunatone uses Psychic, pushing Solrock to a wall. Solrock goes up and uses Solar Beam. Lunatone tackles Solrock, who launches Solar Beam. However, the attack is negated by Lunatone's Ice Beam, which freezes Solrock. Thus, Tate returns Solrock back. Tate is disappointed, claiming he was quite close to achieving victory. Liza reminds him Solar Beam needs time to be launched, telling he needs to set his timing to defeat her. The heroes enter the room, but soon find themselves floating. Liza comes to them and tells the Baltoy use Confusion that they use to create zero gravity. Ash reintroduces himself to Liza and Tate, her little brother. Tate is annoyed by being called the last brother, pointing out they are twins and wished that he was born first. Max admits he feels the same, since May always remind him he is the younger one, which doesn't make him less smart than her.
May is glad to see someone agreeing with Max for a while and asks Liza why are they here. Liza mentions that their father is the director of the company and an astronaut. They had one Baltoy use Confusion, which lifted them in midair and thus, they started battling this way. Aside from being fun, Brock tells them that the different physical laws can make a difference in battle, which the trainers should aim to perfect their skills. Liza offers them a tour of the Mossdeep Research Center, but Ash wants to find the Gym Leader first. Liza and Tate think the Gym Leader would like to see the launch first, as she and Tate remind Ash and his friends that THEY are the Gym Leaders of Mossdeep City. Ash is a little embarrassed for not remembering that fact and he’s a little worried about this; not to mention the fact that Tate and Liza never got to properly introduce themselves to Ash and his friends back during the recent Groudon VS Kyogre crisis. As Tate demonstrates how to ride the MAT properly, Max can't resist teasing Ash about this. As they watch him, Liza tells Ash that they will have a Double Battle. May thinks Tate and Liza have the advantage in this, but Brock explains there is nothing wrong in making it more difficult to draw out the challenger's skills. Ash is more determined to win, for it is a new challenge for him.
Liza likes Ash's determination, for Ash feels he can defeat them both. Before the launch, May and Liza go to get May on the moonwalker machine. Pikachu stops Ash, so Ash realizes he wants all his Pokémon out. Brock, May and Ash bring their Pokémon out, being tested on different courses. And Max brings out Poliwag (which was gifted to him by Roxanne for his heroic help in the Groudon VS Kyogre crisis). Liza tells the Pokémon are also used for experiments and dreams having a Gym on her own, even if it is on a different planet. May approves of the idea and is thanked by Liza. Max and Tate went to a course where one needs to fly the space ship. Tate activates the machine, and a projection of them being in space is displayed. Max and Tate admit this course is actually quite fun. Corphish and Poliwag go out of the room, and see a man transporting food. Thus, Corphish and Poliwag follow him. At the controller room, Rachel sees something in storage room. However, on closer look, she finds nothing and convinces herself it was nothing. In truth, Corphish and Poliwag are in the storage room, eating, drinking, and looking around.
Later, Liza stops her father, Jin, as is about to board the shuttle again for the last time before launch. Liza introduces her father to the heroes, who says he always wanted to go to space to explore the Pokémon outside the planet. The father tells Max and Tate were here before. Suddenly, Liza's father hears that the security has been breached; Team Rocket, as astronauts, are running away and are told to stop. When Ash and the others confront the trio, James sends out Cacnea to do a Pin Missile. Though Ash counters with Pikachu's Thunderbolt. Despite getting zapped, Jessie still manages to send out Seviper to perform a Haze attack, allowing the trio to make their escape and head for the shuttle's cockpit.
Max wonders if he and Tate will get in trouble, but Tate tells him not to worry, since they'll leave as soon as his father comes. Max thinks it'd be cool to accompany them on the mission. Team Rocket goes inside the rocket. Jessie spots the food and takes some, then Corphish and Poliwag spot them. Inside the cockpit, they find Max and Tate, who had earlier sneaked aboard. Meowth promptly ties the boys up with rope before the trio takes their positions. Before they go, James sends Chimecho, who wraps its tail around its eyes. James places it above him, relaxing Team Rocket with Chimecho's voice. Meowth pushes the launch button, causing the boosters to start. Everyone else notices this with alarm and, upon turning on the cockpit's monitor, Rachel radios to Jin that Tate and Max are on the shuttle with Team Rocket. It's too late, however, as the shuttle is already taking off. The support rocket and boosters fall away as the rocket makes its way up into the atmosphere. Corphish and Poliwag walk through the vents and bash into a wall, due to a sudden stop in motion by the rocket. Team Rocket’s space voyage comes to an abrupt stop thanks to the Baltoy and their Confusion attack. However, Rachel fears the Baltoy won't keep them for long. Tate tells Max they have to stop Team Rocket. With the distraction, Tate suggests to Max that they make their escape. Trying to figure out how to accomplish this, Max notices Corphish and Poliwag hiding under a bank of controls. Corphish motions for Max to be quiet with its claw, and Max nods.
Jessie thinks that the Baltoy need to be stopped, so James orders Chimecho to use Astonish. Suddenly, Jessie is rapidly slapped in the face by Poliwag’s tail. Now free thanks to Corphish, Tate has his Solrock use Psychic to levitate Team Rocket. Solrock throws the trio around the cabin for a bit until they all collide and fall to the floor, out cold. The boys and the Pokémon cheer, and Tate jumps on the radio and assures his parents that they're all right. Rachel (Tate and Liza’s mother) and Jin are relieved. May and Liza are glad their brothers are okay. However, Tate needs to land the shuttle down, as the Baltoy cannot hold the shuttle for long. Much to Liza's concern, Tate takes the pilot's seat and confidently says that he can do it due to his experience in the simulator. Max says he'll help as well and the landing process begins. The Baltoy release their hold on the shuttle and Jin begins relaying instructions to the boys. After a few tense moments of switch-flipping and control-monitoring, in which an impatient Corphish threatens to press a random button before Max’s Poliwag whacks Corphish’s claw away with its tail, the shuttle lands safely. Team Rocket, still dazed from Solrock's Psychic attack, stagger out of the shuttle and fall to the ground. Immediately, they suffer the wrath of Liza and May, both of whom are furious at Team Rocket for the danger they had put their younger brothers into. May orders Combusken to use Fire Spin and Liza orders Lunatone to attack with another Ice Beam. Pikachu blasts Team Rocket off with Iron Tail, as they fly off in ice that’s shaped like the space shuttle.
Afterward, later that evening, the group and twin Gym Leaders watch from the Space Center’s rooftop as Jin leads the latest shuttle mission into space, as the shuttle flies high in the sky, bound for space. Tate's father, in the end, finally flies up in the shuttle. The heroes wonder what Pokémon that Jin will find in out space. Poliwag, in Max’s arms, is admired by the shuttle as it fly up toward space. Tate and Liza remind Ash about the Gym Battle. Ash is determined to get the Double Battle started against both of them. Ash promises that when the gym battle is done, they’ll look around Mossdeep City. Max, with Poliwag in his arms, thanks Ash, as does May, as she happily hugs Ash and she thanks him for allowing them to look around Mossdeep City after the Gym Battle.
And that is the new plot for the new version of “It’s Still Rocket Roll to Me”. And if you’re wondering what I meant by “And Max brings out Poliwag (which was gifted to him by Roxanne for his heroic help in the Groudon VS Kyogre crisis)”, I thought about that as a way of showing that Max did a wonderful job in helping out in the Groudon VS Kyogre crisis. And about the Poliwag, it’s the exact same Poliwag that Max used in AG 015 - “Gonna Rule the School”. ^^ I’ll go into deeper detail on that later, so stay tuned. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy reading the plot above, and stay tuned for more ideas and objectives for rewriting and updating the advanced series.
AG 105 - “Training with the Orbs”
With the whole list of Ideas with the new Groudon VS Kyogre arc in the new version of the Advanced series, this freshly new episode; AG 105 - “Training with the Orbs”, help in concluding that arc. And this episode would have several elements and moments based on the training with Juan moment in the manga; Pokémon Adventures: Ruby and Sapphire.
And the plot for this freshly-new episode is just below, so I hope you all enjoy reading it. ^^
After beating Tate and Liza in a Gym Battle, Ash is now determined to get the Red Orb out of his body, along with May being determined to get the Blue Orb out of her body. Ash, May, Max, and Brock are being taken to an Island called Mirage island, and they’re on their way there by boat, and said boat is being driven by Tate and Liza’s mother; Rachel. Tate and Liza are with them too, wanting to help out in this objective. Once they arrive at Mirage Island, everyone is greeted by Juan, accompanied by his Pokémon; Kingdra, Relicanth, Wailord, Luvdisc, Whiscash, and Sealeo. Juan tells them this is their training ground. Tate and Liza tell Juan that the Red Orb is inside Ash and the Blue Orb is inside May, and Ash and May tell Juan that if they don’t get the Orbs out, they’ll become puppets for Groudon and Kyogre, just like what happened to Maxie and Archie. Juan calms both of them down, and introduces himself as Tate and Liza’s master. He also informs them they are on Mirage Island, isolated from Hoenn region, with only a few people knowing its existence.
Juan says he’ll help in getting the Orbs out of Ash and May, and Juan states that in order to do so, he, Tate, and Liza will have to train Ash and May. Rachel takes Brock and Max to go site-seeing throughout Mirage Island. Juan has Tate and Liza attack Ash and May, forcing them to defend themselves by dodging Solrock's Rock Throw. Ash, taken by surprise, has Pikachu attack Juan with Thunderbolt, but Juan easily blocks the attack. This convinces Ash and May to trust Juan, as he moves just like his master; Wallace. Deciding that Juan is their temporary teacher, Ash and May gladly accept the training offer. Juan is pleased with the answer, and tells the two that they will first train in the art of Double Battle with Tate and Liza, as a start.
Ash and May continue their training with Juan, Tate and Liza. Pikachu and Combusken fight hard and bravely against Tate’s Solrock and Liza’s Lunastone. Pikachu unleashes another Thunderbolt, but Solrock and Lunastone block it with Light Screen. With Solrock and Lunastone distracted, May tells Combusken to attack with Flamethrower, and it hits both Solrock and Lunastone. Tate is surprised by, and so are Liza and Juan. Liza and Juan are pleased to see Ash's and May's progress. Juan approaches Ash and May and states that it is time for their next lesson. He takes them to a spring and has them both look into it along with their Pokémon. Ash brings out Pikachu, Walrein, Swellow, Grovyle, Torkoal, Corphish, and ... while May brings out Combusken, Shiny Walrein, Altaria, Skitty, Beautifly. Juan puts a coin in his hand and has Ash guess which hand the coin is in. Ash gets only a few correct, while May gets all correct, signifying that she has a better intuition than Ash. Juan reveals that in heated battles, there are times where one has to come up with a plan on the spot, but this can be hindered by swaying emotions. Juan states that the next challenge will involve training their hearts.
However, due to the effects of the spring, May falls asleep with her Altaria. With May asleep, Ash tells Juan that the effects of the Red Orb is slowly getting stronger, to where he shows Juan that more light red tattoos of Groudon have shown up on his arms as well. Concerned, Juan looks at the sleeping May, seeing light blue tattoos of Kyogre on her arms. Seeing these, Juan realized that the Orbs are getting stronger within Ash and May. And Juan tells Ash why the Orbs are inside him and May; in order for the Red Orb and the Blue Orb to maximize their powers, they need people to control them. The Orbs must be absorbed into their controllers, but sometimes they may choose their controllers. In this case, they have chosen Ash and May. Hearing this, Ash realizes that after being knocked out of Maxie and Archie, the Red Orb and Blue Orb went to Ash and May to be their next controllers. Ash also says that he’s worried for May more than himself.
Unaware to Ash and Juan, May heard everything and woke up, just as concerned as Ash, and she’s worried for Ash as much as Ash is for her. As Altaira tries to calm May down by enveloping her in her fluffy wings, Juan tells Ash and May that the next phase of training is where he will train the two himself. Juan has Ash's team concentrate on Ash as he attempts to summon the Red Orb. After some initial trouble, Ash manages to pull the Red Orb out of his body through his hand. It’s now May’s turn; all of May’s team concentrate on her, and after some trouble, May manages to get the Blue Orb out of her body through her hand. Juan congratulates Ash and May for their successful training, as do Tate and Liza. At this time, Max and Brock reappear with Rachel, with their site-seeing across Mirage Island done. Tate, Liza, and Juan are surprised to see the Jade Orb in Max’s hand. Juan then realized that the Jade Orb is different from the Red Orb and Blue Orb. With the Jade Orb being connected to Rayquaza, the Jade Orb has no need to control the person it’s absorbed into. Meaning that Max was able to get the Jade Orb out of his body without any trouble. Max sees that Ash has the Red orb in his hand and May has the Blue Orb in her hand. Tate, Liza, Juan, Ash, and May tell Max, Brock, and Rachel about everything that happened while they were gone.
However, without warning, a robotic arm snatches the Jade Orb out of Max’s hand, taking everyone by surprise. Team Rocket arrives to the area with a gigantic robot, and they do their usual motto. Afterward, they then plan to take the Red Orb and Blue Orb. Jessie sends out Seviper and James sends out Cacnea. Seviper uses Poison Tail and Cacnea uses Pin Missile. However, Ash’s Walrein uses Ice Beam and May’s Altaria uses Dragon Breath, negating the attacks. However, Solrock and Lunastone attack with Flamerthrower and Ice Beam, but are captured inside cages. The two Pokémon use Psychic to try and get free, but to no avail, as the titanium cages reflect their attacks back to Solrock and Lunastone. Tate and Liza become furious, and Juan sees that Team Rocket are vandals and Juan hates vandals. Juan says that he never takes kindly to vandals. After being called vandals, Jessie and James become furious and tell Seviper and Cacnea with Poison Tail and Pin Missile at Juan. But Kingdra and Whiscash block the incoming attacks with Water Pulse and Mud Shot. In the chaos, Meowth uses two more robotic arms to try and take the Red Orb and Blue Orb. However, Ash and May fire beams of energy at the robotic arms, destroying them. This catches everyone’s attention, and Juan realizes that Ash and May are using the power of the orbs, which their minds, after all the training, are now strong enough to handle the extreme power, meaning Ash and May now control the orbs. The Red Orb absorbs into Ash’s hand and the Blue Orb absorbs into May’s hand.
Afterwards, a light red sphere of energy of energy appears around Ash as red tattoos of Groudon appear on his arms and face, and his eyes glow light red. Then, a light blue sphere of energy appears around May and light blue tattoos of Kyogre appear on her arms, face, and legs, and her eyes glow bright blue. Seviper and Cacnea attack with Poison Tail and Pin Missile, but the attacks are negated by the power of the sphere of energy surrounding Ash and May. Ash and May then fire a blast of energy at the two Pokémon, sending them flying at Jessie and James. Afterward, Ash and May begin floating and fly at the giant robot, as Ash breaks Solrock free and May breaks Lunastone free. The two Pokémon fly to Tate and Liza, who happily hug their Pokémon. Ash and May unleash a beam of energy and it hits the big “R” on the robot, causing it to shake violently, and the first robotic arm drops the Jade Orb. Max catches it and runs to Brock, Tate, Liza, Juan, and Rachel. After Max and the others get to a safe distance, Ash and May unleash powerful beams of pure energy (light red from Ash and light blue from May) at the robot, creating a massive explosion. Team Rocket is sent blasting off again. After Ash and May land on the ground, the spheres of energy around them die down as they’re now on solid ground. Everyone congratulates Ash and May for what they did. And Juan tells the two that due to their training, they were able to control the power of the orbs. Ash and May are amazed that their training has given them a cool new ability. Afterwards, Ash and May get the orbs out of their bodies.
Ash and May return all their Pokémon to their Poké Balls. Now that their mission with the Orbs is complete, and now that Team Rocket has been dealt with, Ash and May say that it’s time to leave and head to Mt. Pyre to return the Red Orb and Blue Orb. Max and Brock agree, and Rachel says she’ll take them there by boat. Juan wishes our heroes the best of luck, as do Tate and Liza. Tate and Liza tell their mother that they’ll stay on Mirage Island a little longer, so they can train with Juan. Rachel agrees and wishes her twin children the best of luck. Ash (with the Red Orb in his hand), May (with the Blue Orb in her hand), Max (with the Jade Orb in his hand), Brock, and Rachel get onboard the boat. As the boat leaves, Juan, Tate and Liza wave goodbye to our heroes, and our heroes wave goodbye to them.
Later that day, our heroes arrive at Mt. Pyre. Ash puts the Red Orb in his backpack, May puts the Blue Orb in her belt-bag, and Max puts the Jade Orb in his backpack; all for safe keeping until they reach the top of the mountain. After a long walk up the mountain, our heroes finally reach the top. Ash brings out the Red Orb and May brings out the Blue Orb, surprising the elders of Mt. Pyre. Ash and May say they brought the Orbs back from Team Magma and Team Aqua, just like they promised. The elders are happy and relived to see the Orbs. Ash and May gently put the Orbs on the table where they are supposed to be and rightfully should be. The elders are very happy that the promise to get the Orbs back has been fulfilled. The elders thank our heroes for bringing back the Orbs, and Ash and May reply.
Now that the Orbs have been returned to Mt. Pyre, Ash says it’s time to go. Our heroes say goodbye to the elders and the elders reply with their goodbyes. Later, Ash, May, Max, Brock, and Rachel are on their way to Sky Pillar where Max got the Jade orb, and he wants to return the Jade Orb to its rightful place. One there, Max gently puts the Jade Orb on the very same alter he got it from during the Groudon VS Kyogre crisis. Rachel tells Ash, May, and Max that they did a good deed by returning the three Orbs to their rightful places. And now that their objectives with the Orbs are done, Ash and friends head back to Mossdeep City so they can look around, as Ash has still kept his promise to May and everyone else about sight-seeing around Mossdeep City after the gym battle.
And that is the plot of AG 105 - “Training with the Orbs”. I certainly hope you all enjoy reading the plot of this freshly new episode that i thought about myself.
AG 104 - "Solid as a Solrock"
After going over AG 103 - “It’s Still Rocket Roll to Me”, it was a no-brainer that AG 104 - “Solid as a Solrock” was next.
I hope you all enjoy reading the plot below.
At the Mossdeep Gym, Ash is preparing to face Tate and Liza, the twin Gym Leaders. Rachel explains the rules of the Double Battle and gives a detailed explanation of the special field they're using. Brock, May and Max comment on the battlefield, since Tate and Liza know the interior quite well to use it against Ash. Brock thinks a bigger challenge for Ash is to use combination attacks to stop both Solrock and Lunatone. The field has mock-ups of all the planets orbiting the sun, creating obstacles that wouldn't be there ordinarily. Tate and Liza start by choosing Solrock and Lunatone, respectively. Ash instantly chooses Pikachu and Swellow for its aerial abilities. Outside, Team Rocket plots to steal Lunatone and Solrock. After Meowth’s boss fantasy concludes, he and Jessie happily rush off to the Gym to begin, but James stops them because he is concerned that Psychic types will be difficult to capture. However, he is told Meowth bought a machine online to capture the Psychic-type Pokémon.
Back in the Gym, the battle begins. Solrock uses Tackle on Pikachu, hitting the Mouse Pokémon. Lunatone uses Tackle as well, striking Swellow. Ash then orders Pikachu to use Quick Attack on Solrock and tells Swellow to use Peck on Lunatone. As Pikachu charges into his attack, Solrock floats out of the way, causing Pikachu to crash into one of the floating planets. The same thing happens with Swellow after Lunatone moves aside. Pikachu falls down, and soon after Swellow lands on him. Things aren't looking too good for Ash at this point.
Tate and Liza are now ready for their next attacks. Solrock uses Solar Beam while Lunatone is told to use Ice Beam, however, the two attacks collide and cancel each other out. While Brock, May and Max see Ash got lucky that the attacks canceled each other out, Tate and Liza begin arguing, causing them both to loose focus on the battle. May is surprised, but Max tells they are siblings that annoy each other. Ash sees this as his chance, so he orders Swellow to use Aerial Ace on Lunatone, and it hits. Pikachu is also ordered to attack, and he lashes Solrock with an Iron Tail. Tate and Liza notice that their Pokémon are getting beaten while they quarrel, so they both rejoin the match and order their Pokémon to use Tackle attacks on Pikachu. Pikachu is about to be sandwiched by the two Psychic Pokémon, but Swellow swoops in and rescues. Consequently, Lunatone and Solrock crash into each other, which causes Tate and Liza to begin arguing again, as Tate claims the angle is important, while Liza states it is the timing. Max sees he and May are like best friends compared to those two, while May states having two Gym Leaders is a bad idea. This makes Brock believe Ash will have more chance to defeat them.
As the twin Gym Leaders blame each other for their constant blunders, the ground starts to rumble as Team Rocket makes an unannounced appearance. The Gym’s roof caves in even more as a giant robot appears, piloted by Meowth. Ash demands them to leave, since they have an important battle. Liza complains about the battlefield being ruined, so Tate and Liza order their Pokémon to attack. The Team Rocket mecha fires two round cages that capture Lunatone and Solrock. The two Pokémon try to free themselves using Psychic, but Meowth laughs as he reveals the cages are made of unobtainium and reflect the attacks. Team Rocket reels in their catches and rush off to their waiting Meowth balloon while Ash and the others give chase. Ash orders Pikachu to use Thunderbolt, but his attack fails to make the distance. So, Ash has Pikachu jump on Swellow and has them pursue Team Rocket in the air. Jessie and James look worried, but Meowth tells them not to worry as he presses a button, causing the robot to fire yellow globs at the two Pokémon. Swellow presses through as Pikachu uses Thunderbolt on the mecha, causing it to release the two stolen Pokémon. Meowth apologizes to his teammates for only getting the economy package as Solrock and Lunatone crushes the mecha with Psychic. The mecha then explodes on Team Rocket to blast them off for good.
Liza admits that Ash’s match cannot go on because the Gym field was destroyed. And Ash feels sad that the Gym Battle is ruined and the Gym itself is destroyed. Though Rachel suggests that they just have the battle outside, on the cliff that Team Rocket took off from, and everyone agrees that this is a good idea. So Rachel announces the continuation of the Gym battle. Pikachu uses Thunderbolt on Solrock, but Lunatone slides in front and guards it with Light Screen. The Thunderbolt gets reflected back at Pikachu, smashing him into a rocky cliff. Swellow tries to attack Lunatone with Aerial Ace, but Solrock uses Sandstorm to stop it. Brock admits that the twins are working in sync since that battle with Team Rocket. Ash also realizes this and orders his own combination, so Pikachu leaps onto Swellow's back. The now-airborne Pikachu uses Thunderbolt on Solrock, but Lunatone again intervenes and reflects the attack right back at him. However, this time both Pikachu and Swellow are hit. Tate and Liza are surprised to see that Swellow doesn't seem to be affected, considering that it's a Flying-type.
Swellow is then ordered to use Double Team, creating copies that surround Solrock and Lunatone. The two Psychic-type Pokémon fly back to back as Tate and Liza gauge the situation and order a Solar and Ice Beam combination to sweep through the duplicates. Soon they're all disposed of, though the twins are left confused about the whereabouts of the real Swellow and Pikachu. Suddenly, they see the two Pokémon flying from above, ready to strike. Solrock and Lunatone are ordered to quickly whip up another Solar Beam and Ice Beam combination, hitting Ash's Pokémon. The Pokémon start plummeting toward the ground, but Swellow is unable to recover and faints when it hits the ground. Ash returns Swellow and brings out Walrein.
Ash orders Walrein to use Ice Beam, but Tate orders Solrock to fire a Solar Beam attack to counter the Ice Beam. The Solar Beam melts the Ice Beam and hits Walrein. Liza tells Lunastone to use Ice Beam, but Pikachu conters with Thunderbolt. Ash orders Walrein to strike both Solrock and Lunatone with Surf. The wave hits, and being a water-type move, it’s super effective against Solrock and Lunastone. After the wave disappears, Solrock and Lunastone are both fainted. Rachel announces that Pikachu and Walrein have won the battle. Ash hugs Pikachu and Walrein for the victory. Tate and Liza are amazed by Ash’s determination, stating that although they learned a lot, there are still things they have yet to perfect. Ash confesses they nearly defeated him in this Gym Battle. Brock states it is clear how Tate and Liza have good combination attacks, while May states it is certain why Tate and Liza are the Gym Leaders. Tate and Liza thank them as they give Ash the Mind Badge. Ash takes the badge and makes the victory pose. But suddenly, he feels something, causing him to drop his badge and he falls onto his knees and starts to scream in pain, much to everyone’s shocked.
Then Tate sees a small red light from underneath Ash’s left glove. Tate asks Ash about it, and Ash is a little confused at first, but allows Tate to take off Ash’s glove, and Ash sees... a light red tattoo of Groudon on his hand. This shocks everyone even more, realizing that Ash must have the Red Orb inside his body. As everybody wonders how that happened, May suddenly screams in pain too and falls to the ground too. Ash gets up and runs towards her. May grips onto her shoulders and tries to ease the pain as small tears drip down from her closed eyes. Ash then sees a blue light under her right glove and takes it off, only to see a light blue tattoo of Kyogre on May’s hand. This reveals that the Red Orb is inside Ash and the Blue Orb is inside May. This also answers the question as to where the Orbs went after they exited Maxie and Archie. After exiting Maxie and Archie, the Orbs went inside Ash and May without anyone noticing during the Groudon VS Kyogre crisis. Ash and May look at each other terrified and May asks Ash if it means they’ll become puppets for Groudon and Kyogre like Maxie and Archie did. As Tate & Liza rush to call a friend of theirs, Ash and May continue giving each other a worried look with great fears of what’s goanna happen if they don’t get the orbs out of their bodies.
And that is the new plot for the new version of “Solid as a Solrock”. I got rid of that golden electric armor part as it made little to no sense. And to make up for that amount of lost time, I added a new addition to the ending of this episode, and it’s about the Red Orb and Blue Orb.
