#teamstairninjas was a 2 man team yesterday at the KC climb but we rocked those steps for a total of 8 times up. 1 warmup, 6 up for the hour race and 1 more for a cool down. I took 1st place overall in the sprint and ultimate climb. My sprint time was 5m3sec which is new PR for me by 18secs. I was so happy to see my dads stairwell when I was climbing. I did today what I thought was once impossible on the Met stairs. X3 in a row up(856 steps) all under 6min. 5m49s then 5m49sec then last lap in 5m39sec. So I got faster on my final lap which was my goal today. Tired after but so amped that I was able to do this today. First lap was warmup in a little over 11min so I really did 4 laps. 160 floors total. 2000 feet of elevation gain in less then 40min. All on my lunch hour. 💪👣 Lastly, no coughing for me after. That is the best thing I got out of today. Just the #StairNinja & Arch today hanging together at lunch time. Climbed the Arch grand stair case today 60 times up/down(3540 steps climbed up) non-stop in 44min(almost hit my goal of 40min) I did stop once to help a old lady take a picture.
