One Jump Ahead, with Reithie and Lunil.

((okay, so Jaraxxus had the same prompt, and I accidently deleted it when I was trying to be cool and reply to them both, but failed so here we go.))

"GET BACK HERE!!!" bellowed the voice of a Vindicator as he trounced through the halls of Karabor, it was that time of the year again the 8 day celebration that lead up to the day where they officially called Draenor home. It was a happy time, where families came together to celebrate the day when they felt safe here, and during the 8 day, there was a massive fair that is held at Karabor. 

Vendors from all across Draenor came to set up shop, selling sweets, treats and gifts to families. There were usually games and dancing, and every night Velen would make an appearance to give a special sermon and tell a story to the young ones.

It was also a time to get in the most trouble, and have the Prophet forgive you for it anyways. Like three young girls, who were hiding from said Vindicator.

"I don't know why I'm here..." whispered Lunil as she glared at the two of them.

"You were a witness, there could not be any witnesses." answered Reithie, as she watched from around the corner, as the Vindicator stopped in the foyer, looking around.

"Then why am I here?" asked Freiha, her arms folded, as she too, glared at Reithie. 

"You are an accomplice, you were instrumental in getting the goods. Besides, I remember you, you owe me." Reithie answered simply.

"Owe you!? I don't owe you anything!!!" Freiha whispered angrily, gently but forcibly pushing aside Lunil to get into Reithie's face. 

Reithie turned back and waved at Freiha to calm down and be quiet, since the Vindicator seemed to have picked up the small outburst, his eyes scanning the room.

"I'm going to be late! I have to help the Anchorites set up for the next sermon, besides this is dumb, what did you steal anyways?" whispered Lunil, as she crawled over to crouch beside Freiha, whom seemed not to pleased to be hushed.

Oh and did Reithie hear about it.

"DON'T SHUSH ME!!! I could have taken them on all by myself, I didn't need you or anyone else to rescue me! Besides, you only made things worse! I mean, they don't bother me anymore, but I don't think they fear me either!! I aharmdnofpandfkphf, PAH! DON'T YOU TRY TO COVER MY MOUTH EITHER!!"

"THERE YOU THREE ARE!!"

The shrill cries that rang out through the fast corridor is said to have been heard in future celebrations to come. Just as the Vindicator rounded the corner to where the three of them here hiding, Reithie and Freiha jumped up and started to bound down the hallway, dragging Lunil along with them. But the Vindicator was exhausted, he had been chasing the three of them for a while now, and it didn't seem his second wind was coming anytime soon. So, after a little while, he stopped and let them go, it just didn't seem worth it anymore.

Skidding around a corner, the three girls found an alcove to hide again, this time they were sure the Vindicator wouldn't find them. All three of them were out of breath, but despite it all, it was Lunil that put up protest this time.

"What is wrong with you people?! What did you take that was worth all of this?! I could have been spending a nice quiet night, but no, I had to witness this stupidity!!" she gestured wildly at the other two draenei kids, both of whom where looking at her with surprise. It was also out of the blue that she snatched the small brown bag that Reithie was previously guarding carefully, and forcibly opened it up.

There was a small gasp, and Lunil closed the bag.

"W-What was it?" Freiha asked, looking back and forth between Lunil and Reithie. Whom sat there, twiddling her tendrils, looking like someone who's hand was caught in the cookie jar.

"They are Teva treats...B-But... I mean they were free and all... you could only take one... but... you took a whole bag...!" Lunil looked at Reithie with shock and awe. Freiha's head whipped around and stared at the other girl. "B-But why?"

"Because, Teva only makes so many and only once a year, and not everyone is able to go to the Karabor festival, and so when me and my family move again I can give some to those who couldn't make it. That's why!" Reithie had folded her arms over her chest as she narrowed her eyes at the two of them. Lunil closed the bag and handed it back to her. 

"I-I'm sorry..." she said, as she sat down beside Freiha. "I, I didn't know..." Lunil looked at her lap with a dejected look. Freiha gave Reithie a small smile. "Yeah, that's cool of you. I mean, Teva treats are delicious, too bad he only makes them once a year."

A small smile pulled on Reithie's lips as she tied up the bag that she was handed back to. "Well that's a good thing I took two bags then!" she giggled, as she pulled out a second one from the messenger bag she wore.

So, there they sat, the three of them as they ate the ever so delectable Teva treats as they listened to the music coming down the hall.

"Oh, by the way, the names Reithie!" she said, in between bites.

"Nice to meet you, Lunil, I'm an apprentice for the Aldor."

"And I'm Freiha, and I still don't owe you anything..." she smirked, throwing a treat at Reithie's face.

All I ask is that he stop keeping possible biohazards in the same place in which we keep the food and suddenly I am the one being ridiculous.

Lunil keeps a Volatile Mutation named Macha  in the clinic as a pet. Atnovos hates it but hasn't forced her to get rid of it. Yet.

I was wondering what kind of doctor Atnovos is? A doctor of science, or, medical?

Atnovos is a medical doctor who specializes in various forms of mutations. Most of what we do in this clinic is research, although we do offer our services to the sick and injured in times where other sources of treatment on the Exodar might be stretched.

As of right now the doctor’s work primarily involves studying the mutations afflicting the Krokul although we have also done work into curing the many animals around the Isles that have been affected by our people’s arrival and looking into removing fel corruption from non-sentient animals.

I do not like autopsies. They don't always come through the clinic but sometimes they do. Ever since... Well, ever since Auchindoun fell we've no one to handle such matters, so the duty gets put to whoever has the time or resources.

I do not like having to perform the autopsies. Having the peacekeepers and vindicators pile into a small cold room to explain to them what happened to that poor soul in their last moments of life.

Occasionally one of the Krokul that we were attempting treat would pass, usually of natural causes, but Atnovos wants to have a look all the same. Those are always worse. There's something about cutting open someone that just days previously was full of life, conversational, hopeful.

There is a device that plays music that has been put in the air by the Gnomes. Maybe I will find one and put it in the autopsy room. I hear music is a very good way to make one forget what they are doing.

WHERE WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO VISIT ON YOUR PLANET?

Lunil: Oh! Do you mean this planet? I am not incredibly knowledgeable on the geography of this world, but I would love to see a place where it snows very heavily. I grew up on the edge  Nagrand and the forests of Terokkar and we do not get much snow on Azuremyst.

Yes hello, is this thing working properly?

Allow me to introduce myself, briefly. This is the offical blog for the clinic of Doctor Atnovos. Speaking now is his assistant, who will be he primary user of this blog for the most part. The good doctor is not very sociable with strangers and has far too many important things to to do than look for pretty pictures on the internet.
