Hey! May I ask you about LustMonster's For The Best? That is one of my favorite dark cherik fics... I remember that it's WIP but I really want to re-read it! And thank you for always being so kind and try to help all of us!

With time, he comes to be acquainted with the building’s varied occupants and deal with the suicide of his sister Cassandra and his brother Martin running away from home years before the start of the story, along with his own depression and the turmoil-heavy times as mutants fight for their rights and say in government. Along with the apartment, comes the guardian cat statue, Ghost, and the out-of-body dreams he has many nights, during which he meets the spirits of the dead attached to the building or its residents.

Furthermore, Charles meets his grouchy upstairs neighbor, Erik Lehnsherr, who he finds himself falling in love with despite the man’s constant rebukes and scornful attitude toward monogamy.
