"Achoo!"

You sneezed once again in the handkerchief and looked at your girlfriend who was still swirling some unidentifiable purple potion in the flask while adding some equally weird liquids with pipettes and other instruments. You also noticed she had a steaming wooden bowl of what you assumed to be soup in the middle of all the potions

"Huh...are you sure this is gonna work sucy?"

"Do you wanna get better soon or not?"

"I do but....I don't know if a potion is the best way to do it"

"Are you saying you don't trust my potion making skills?"

"To be honest I don't think i trust you with my health in general"

"Come on if it had any bad side effect i wouldn't be trying it on you....I would be on akko that's what I did in fact"

"Really?"

"Yes she had a cold a couple weeks ago and asked me to make a potion for it....it did turn her skin green for a bit but that allowed me to make some adjustments and now I can guarantee it's 100% safe"

"......if you say so"

Sucy finished putting another ingredient in the bottle swirled it a bit and grinned at her work

"It's finished now"

"Can I *sneeze*....t-try it now?"

"Wait just a second"

To your surprise instead of standing up and giving you the potion directly sucy poured it in the bowl of white soup and stirred it with a wooden spoon turning it a light pinkish color. She moved her chair so it could be nearer to your bed and picked up the bowl before sitting on it

"What is that?"

"Mushroom soup with a little addition of healing potion, the medicine is kinda bitter so I thought that mixing it with one of the best food in existence would make it better"

"I'm not a kid I don't need you to sweeten the medicine...*cough*...and I think mushroom soup would not be a good dish to do that anyway"

"Maybe you're right, perhaps it's just akko who has a child palate, anyway"

She took a spoonful of soup and put it close to your mouth

"Y-you're feeding me?"

"Would you prefer to feed yourself while sneezing and coughing every 2 minutes?"

".....alright"

And so sucy started feeding you the soup-medicine while taking a couple of spoonfuls for herself, even if she wasn't sick she loved mushrooms too much to pass up on the opportunity

"See? Never doubt my potions again ok?"

"Yeah definitely, thanks sucy"

She kissed your forehead and went to wash the dishes and flasks she used for her potions while you made sure that your skin wasn't turning some weird color and thankfully it wasn't....yet

You winced in pain as sucy kept inspecting your bandaged hand

"You were the one who asked me to go pick up those mushrooms!"

The witch grinned and you sighed while looking at her

You unwrapped the bandages from your hand and sucy uttered a small "Oh" of disgust and surprise when she saw the state it was in, it was purple and full of cuts, leaking blood

"Yeah...it's pretty bad"

"Well i think both of the possible outcomes of the spell would be improvements over this"

"I kind of agree"

"Well then"

Sucy grabbed her hand from her dress and then waved it around muttering an incantation you hadn't heard before. A purple glow came out of it and to your surprise a few seconds later your hand returned to normal, no more swelling cuts or unnatural color

"Hey it actually worked"

"You're surprised too!?"

"I told you I didn't know if it was actually gonna work, I'm glad it did though"

"Yeah I suppose I should thank you"

"You're welcome, next time you get a bad wound like that don't hesitate to come to me, I've got lots of other spells I have to test"

She grinned again causing you to sweat a bit

"......i think i'll just go to the nurse next time, i don't wanna take too many chances"

"Why do you think that asking nicely will make me change my mind?"

"This is kinda getting ridiculous, you've been studying on that desk for at least 5 fours"

"I'm not studying i'm doing research, there's this special plant in the forest i want to go pick up for a potion but I need to check if it's poisonous before"

"Cause i can't find it on any of the encyclopedias I have"

"Sucy it's time to sleep, we have to go to bed"

Sucy turned her head and blinked her visible eye one singular time before getting back to her reading

"Really?"

"If you want to sleep then go alone"

"No i want you to sleep with me!"

"Leave before I get angry"

Despite your girlfriend's threatening tone you kept standing there and bothering her repeating that she should go to sleep with you, so she saw no other choice but to discreetly grab her wand and cast a spell on the floor which made it slightly more slippery so when you took another step towards sucy (who had finally gotten up) you slipped and almost fell had it not been for sucy being already ready to catch you in her arms

"Yep"

"Why?"

"Cause if you don't wanna sleep without me then i'll make you"

She continued carrying you until she arrived to your bed where she placed you

Akko thinks you're so cool, ok she thinks most things related to basically any kind of magic is cool but you especially, you make machines to do magic how cool is that?

You kinda remind her of constanze in that way just....way easier to talk to. She actually tried to get you two to interact cause she thought you'd get along and she was right....maybe a bit too much. you practically spent the whole day in her lab making inventions. Even if she didn't talk the entire time you two had a great time so much so that it made akko kinda jealous

There are a lot of times when she asks you to make some machine or invention to help her with some magic she's having trouble with, like a mechanical broom to help her learn how to fly better. Most of the time you do because you can't resist her adorable face when she's giving you puppy eyes but you also tell her that she should train without your help

Akko also loves how you're interested and respectful of traditional magic too, she never thought you were trying to replace it, she knew you weren't that type of person from the moment she feel in love with you but it's nice to see just how interested you are in true magic just like her, in that way you both learn something from each other

Ursula did have a mini heart attack and immediately spit the tea she was drinking the first time that akko showed her an invention you made for her while you were on a date

She immediately freaked out because of how uncannily the situation resembled her and Croix, they were also both really close and she can't help but fear that one day you'll betray akko too. She really doesn't want that to happen considering how much of a relationship she has built with her student

But as she got to know you better she realized she was wrong about you, unlike Croix you actually had respect for traditional magic and weren't jealous of akko at all for her powers or anything like that so she calmed down....mostly she still checks on your date sometimes to make sure akko is safe

Sucy isn't really one to show affection, especially in public, the most she'll do let you hug her or kiss her cheek while not really reciprocating or caring. There are definitely moments when she feels more affectionate though but those are always when you two are alone

She really doesn't care much about having a family and would much rather just live with you alone, she might change her mind later but for now she's worried that children would be way too much to deal with....you're also kind of worried she'd use them as test dummies for some potions

She's also not a big cuddler, it took a while for her to get used to sleeping in the same bed as you and even more to you cuddling her, most of the time she won't specifically ask for cuddles but she won't throw you out of the bed if you start hugging her

Even if you exclude potions sucy isn't actually too bad of a cook even if most of the things she make include mushrooms...and maybe poison sometimes don't worry though she'd never feed you the second one....on purpose at least. Most of the time she also uses a spell to clean the house

She gives you the mushrooms she thought were pretty when she finds them in the forest. It's definitely a weird gift but it's the most sucy thing ever so you happily accept that

She doesn't particularly like affection and hugs, she'll tell you to stop when you hug her in public or for more time than she's ok with but when she knows you need it she will reluctantly give you one

Sucy didn't really think about it that much when she said it, she just randomly said it after you helped her on a potion and only realized it after, but then she smirked and told you it was true just to see your blushing face, she says it sometimes and most of the times is when you do something together with her

She gets very scary when she's jealous.. if she sees you being a bit too friendly with another girl she smiles thinking she found the perfect subject for her next potion...or about how she'll straight up poison her. When sucy kisses you it's usually pretty passionately on the lips, if she has to do it then she might as well go all out. Even when she kisses you on your cheek she'll leave a mark as she wants you to remember it

She was very undecided on how to confess so she asked akko and lotte who suggested trying to cook you something, she misunderstood and tried to make a love potion for you...it didn't work and you walked in on her doing it so she decided to just tell you she was surprised when you told her you loved her too but not upset about it now she didn't have to waste good ingredients for a potion

She wakes up pretty early and will immediately wake you up too to go class with any means necessary, she's not above throwing water at you if you don't wake up

Normally she kinda doesn't put that much effort in normal dates or tasks, she just doesn't think it's worth it that much since she knows you already love her but on anniversaries or other celebrations that's when she'll do her best for you.

Sucy isn't great at comfort. If it's nothing serious then she'll just tell you to get over it but if it's something that's actually affecting you then she'll try to hug you and silently cuddle you to hopefully make you feel better

Amanda's main love language is probably quality time, she loves spending time with you and always invites you when she plans to do some random thing that just popped up in her mind 5 seconds ago...even if it more often than not results in one or both of you getting in trouble, she's not a great activity planner but whenever she wants to do something exciting she always makes sure you're there and having fun

She's not great with words of affirmation, of course she says I love you pretty often but her compliments more often come off as teasing or flirting and she struggles coming up with sweet words that aren't "you look hot today well even more than usual" cause she thinks they're a bit too corny and cheesy for her

On the complete opposite of the spectrum she loves physical touch. she really enjoys hugging you tightly and spinning you around (one time she did that while you were flying causing you to almost crash and fall) she likes to let her hands wander around your body and especially kiss you whenever she feels like it, her hands are always on you when you're nearby

Acts of service are probably the one she's least adept at, it's not that she doesn't want to do things for you it's that she's just really bad at it. She doesn't know how to cook except for the most basic of dishes and she doesn't bother with dishes, why should she be cleaning plates when she could do something actually exciting?

She's OK with gift giving she doesn't really give you gifts that often, but when she does, they're always the right thing. It's either something you talked to her about, and she remembered, or she asked around and found out what you wanted. Even if she often doesn't have enough money, she still got it for you. Sucy crouched on the ground and grabbed another mushroom from the terrain and inspected it near the light of her lantern

"Put this in the bag too"

"Ok"

You grabbed the mushroom she held up to you and put it in the bag with the other ones you spent the entire evening gathering

"Thanks for accompanying me by the way"

"Oh it's the least I could do, I love you after all......even if I'm still wondering why we're doing this tonight"

"I already told you,I want some mushrooms to make a potion to test on akko, and they just so happen to grow only on Halloween"

"Ohhh spooky"

You got closer to the source of the noise and found a bunch of teenagers in bad Halloween costumes around a fireplace. They were laughing, drinking and smoking, carelessly throwing all of the bottles and cigarettes they finished on the ground

"They probably just don't care"

You and sucy both looked at them with disgust, but since you couldn't do anything about it you were about to turn around when sucy blocked you by grabbing your shoulder

She grinned creepily at you again and you couldn't help but smile back even if less scarily

"Of course, I'd love to but how?"

"You'd be surprised by how easily people like that get scared, now watch a master of fear in action"

Sucy pulled out her wand from one of her pockets and hid behind the bushes signaling you to do the same

"You're not gonna hurt them are you?"

"Me? Noooooo......I'm not excluding the fact that they might get hurt because of my actions though, say y/n, would you mind throwing a rock in their direction? Something to attract their attention"

"Sure"

You grabbed a small pebble from nearby and threw it, the people mostly didn't react except for one guy who turned around to look

"Hm? What was that?"

And when he did, that was the time for sucy to strike she smiled and quietly muttered an incantation. You saw her wand glow with a purple energy that she directed towards the guy's face. It didn't seem to hurt, but it placed a purple aura around his head that it seemed only people with magic like you and sucy could see

"What did you do?"

"Shhhh, now comes the fun part"

Whenever he turned back to face his friends, they all froze looking at him and started visibly getting scared, some even got up in fear and tried to hold their screams

"Eh? What's wrong?"

"W-what the fuck is that!?"

"Huh what are you-"

"Ahhhhhh! Let's get the hell out!"

They all started running towards the bush you were in and sucy took this as an opportunity to cast the same spell she had used on that guy on them too

And as soon as she did they all started screaming ten times louder while looking at their friends faces

"W-what the hell happened to you!?

"What do you mean! I should be the one asking that!?"

They stopped speaking and just continued to scream incessantly until they finally started to run away in different directions scared, leaving all of their stuff behind

When you saw that everyone had left you two left the bush and started laughing, sucy way more than you even dropping on the ground and cackling in that weird kinda creepy laugh of hers

"Oh did you see that? Hahaha, oh they couldn't even recognize each other how priceless ahahahah, serves idiots like those right"

"Eheh yeah......so what exactly did you do?"

"Oh yeah, I didn't tell you, that was a teeny tiny spell I learned from a dark arts book in the library. Basically, it makes the target look like a monster to any non magic person who sees them"

"Oh so that's why everyone started to look at him like that"

"Yep, and do you wanna know the best part, it bases the monster's appearance on the person who sees it worst fear, so it's different to every person, isn't that just so much fun?"

"..y-yeah it definitely does"

"I'm glad you agree. Also I'd very much prefer if you didn't mention the fact that I used that curse on some..."innocent" civilians, I don't really think the teachers would be happy to hear that, are we clear dear?"

"O-of course sucy, I'd never snitch on you"

"Eheh, I know you won't, plus it's hardly harmful the effects will stop in only a couple of days"

She kissed your cheek and held your hand a bit tightly but not enough to hurt

"That laugh was exactly what I needed to keep going, and we got to do something for Halloween after all. Now let's keep searching for the mushrooms"

A/n:I needed to write some cute stuff after all of the angst that I've been writing cause for some reason in that period a lot of people asked for angst requests. I also just wanted to write more for lwa and I love diana so much, she's easily my favorite character so i just picked a random fluff prompt to do with her. enjoy this and the many other fluff posts I'll probably write for her

Also lets say that luna nova teaches both boys and girls for all of my lwa male reader fics cause it's just way easier to make reader a student at the same school

The morning started like usual, diana woke up, got ready for her first lesson, and then took a detour to your dorm to see how you were doing. She knocked on the door and waited for you or one of your roommates to answer, much to her delight you opened the door fully ready to go to class

"Good morning darling"

"Oh hi diana, I'm happy to see you"

"The same goes for me, shall we walk to class together? We have first period together after all"

"Sure"

You turned to your roommates who were still changing and told them that you would be going with your girlfriend to class and went out the door

"Let's go I'm ready!"

"Of course"

You grabbed her hand and diana blushed but quickly reciprocated the gesture and flashed you a small but incredibly meaningful smile, diana didn't smile often around people, except for you, and you loved seeing her like that it made you feel special

You walked to your class and followed the lesson together. At one point, you started getting confused, and you struggled to follow what the teacher was saying. Being the incredibly smart and observant girl she is, diana noticed and started basically tutoring you in the middle of the lesson, the way she explained it made it incredibly easy to understand and you were so thankful to her for the help

"Thank you diana, you really are a lifesaver"

"Don't mention it, now focus on the lesson"

"Y-yeah....sorry If I distracted you"

"It's nothing, I enjoy helping you, I love you after all"

Diana was expecting a quick but significant "I love you too" or something similar, but instead, what she got was......nothing. she looked to her right and saw you scribbling on your notebook taking notes.

Surprisingly, at first, she didn't feel bad at all, sure a bit disappointed but also proud of you for continuing to follow the lesson. She would have preferred if you had actually answered her but it was no big deal.

When the lesson ended, you and diana started walking again. However, since you had different classes, you needed to split up eventually

"See you after class darling"

"Yeah"

"I love you"

Once again, you didn't answer, just waved and walked off to your class

This refusal hurt more than the first one. You didn't have anything to do and a simple I love you would have satisfied her, why would you just ignore her?

However she quickly recomposed herself, taking a breath and talking quietly to herself

"Don't be childish diana, he surely had his reasons, maybe he didn't hear me"

Still a bit lost in thought she turned around to go to her own next class.

For the first time since she figured out her crush on you, diana could not focus on the lesson, even if she probably already knew exactly what the teacher was saying and more but her thoughts just kept drifting to you and what just happened.

Were you upset at her? Did she do something wrong? You didn't seem angry, but maybe you just didn't want to talk to her about it? Diana has very little experience with relationships, and so that little gesture of saying i love you back meant a lot to her. Of course, she already knew you loved her, but those small daily affirmations just confirmed it and made her that little bit more sure that you loved her just as she loved you

Which is why those panicked kept following her during the entire day, even when she finished her lessons and went back to her dorm to try to do her homework to take her mind off of the situation.....it didn't help at all

"....hey...what's going on with diana? She looks...distracted"

"Didn't you hear? Apparently she's having relationship issues"

"Huh you mean with y-"

Hannah put a hand on barbara's mouth and shushed her

"Shhh! She clearly doesn't wanna talk about it! Let's just act normal"

"......you know I can hear you right?"

"Eh! We're sorry diana"

She sighed and looked at the two other members of her team

"It's alright, just don't make it sound worse than it actually is, it was hardly an issue"

thankfully she was saved from explaining the embarrassing action by a couple of knocks being heard, diana hoped it was you before the voice that came from the other side made her expectation and expression drop

"Hey dianaaaa!!! Dianaaa! Diana I need help with a new spell? Can you help me please?"

"....*sigh* it's akko, sorry but I don't-"

"Don't worry diana we'll handle it"

"Hm?"

Hannah and Barbara opened the door and glared at akko

"What do you think you're doing here?"

"Well I just wanted to-"

"Don't bother diana! She's going through a crisis"
