✨On Lyme Disease & Fear (link to full post in bio)✨ . “....Now we know the demons, albeit different than we imagined, are very much real. . Our only shields are ourselves, built by walls of inner strength accumulated during countless nights of life’s monsters taunting us from the dark corners of our rooms. . We have no choice but to get up and fling the doors of treatment open to face the true darkness and demons surrounding our every move as we walk blindly into the dark unknown of treatments often promising we will feel worse before we feel better. “ 🔥Link to full post in bio🔥 . #lyme #lymedisease #lymetreatment #lymewarrior #lymediseaseawareness #lifelessons #liveandlearn #lymeawarenesss #lymedontkillmyvibe #newblogpost #lifestyleblogger #lifeadvice #lessonslearned #writersofig #authorsofig #blogpost #bloggersofig #innerstrength #selfhelp #selfhealing #selfgrowth #mentalhealth #wellbeing #struggle #overcome #resilience #mindovermatter #overcome #overcomeobstacles #overcomefear https://www.instagram.com/p/CE42Kp5D259/?igshid=8b5fi172a0k1

Activities such as gardening, trekking, walks in wooded trails or grassy areas can prove to be harmful if there is a tick infestation in and around the area you live in. Here are some points to remember:

In keeping with Lyme awareness month here's a photo of some of the meds, supplements and injectables I use on a daily basis to support my health. . After going 2 years undiagnosed I went through a year of antibiotic treatments. After that I decided to pursue a more natural, holistic 🌿 approach to healing and did the Dr. Cowden herbal protocol for 9 months. I also tried Low Dose Immunotherapy (LDI) for over a year. Today I use essential oils, whole leaf liquid Stevia, a ketogenic eating plan, intermittent fasting and more. . I've given myself B-12 injections several times a week to help treat the debilitating fatigue. And when I was finally able to get out of bed I went to physical therapy to help regain strength due to weight loss and muscle wasting I experienced. . The thing about untreated Lyme and co-infections is that when the bacteria has free rein over your body for so long it can damage every organ and system. My doctors always say that it's like peeling back the layers of an onion. There are so many issues to address so we take them one by one. . I haven't always been a good little patient - far from it. 🤪 Before Lyme I'd go and do then push myself to do more - so being forced to slow down has been a battle of wills, so to speak. With this you're forced to stop and being stuck in bed for months on end really doesn't leave you many options. I've resisted this process many times... But that's for another post. 🤣 . I believe that God created us for a purpose and that I'm here on this Earth for a reason so much greater than myself. If you have Lyme or other chronic illness know that you matter. Your life matters so much. 💚 . #morethanlyme . . . . . . . . #lymewarrior #lymetreatment #lymedontkillmyvibe #healthblogger #lymefighter #lymeawareness #projectlyme #gratitudeattitude #attitudeofgratitude #lifestylebloggers #thankfulheart #livelifetothefullest #lifestylebloggers #tickbornedisease #lymediseasefighter #bethelight #lovedoes #lymeawarenessmonth #lymedisease #chronicillness (at Bolivar, Missouri) https://www.instagram.com/p/BxM-w1hB9hf/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1caqmm9xc3bkf
Useful Facts To Know About Lyme Disease Every year thousands of Lyme disease cases are reported. Infected ticks are known for spreading several diseases but Lyme disease remains the most common one. It should be noted that not all ticks transmit the disease. People who live in tick-prone areas need to focus even on the slightest signs and symptoms of the disease. In many cases, the patients fail to recognise the occurrence of the disease. Additionally, if you have pets you need to be more careful. Though pets cannot transmit the infection directly to humans, the infected ticks can multiply and spread the disease to others. A bulls-eye rash is one of the first signs of Lyme disease but it may not be present in all cases. Some victims of Lyme disease also experience symptoms like fever, joint pain, stiffness in the body, etc. See to it that you approach a medical expert as soon as you notice signs of Lyme disease. Early diagnosis and treatment are very important for curing Lyme disease. Generally, the symptoms of this disease appear two to three days after the bite. There are several medical centres for Lyme disease treatment in San Diego. Here are some useful facts you must know about Lyme disease. • A rash is not the only sign of the disease Most people assume that because they don’t have a rash on the skin they are not infected by Lyme disease. It is important to note that Lyme disease has several other subtle symptoms too like fever, body pain, chills, swelling in certain parts, etc. A rash may not even be noticeable in many cases. • Preventive measures are of utmost importance Unlike several other diseases, Lyme disease can actually be prevented with the help of preventive measures. Simple techniques like covering yourself with light coloured clothes, using tick repellents in your backyard to avoid the increase of ticks, trimming the lawn regularly, etc. can help reduce the risk of the disease. • Ticks need to be removed properly People are likely to panic when they notice a tick on their body. See to it that you remove the tick with utmost care. Using tweezers for the same is the best way. Check for ticks if you have been exposed to any tick-prone areas. Go for Lyme disease treatment in San Diego and get back to your healthy self.
