Also im going to say that for my x reader writing, none of the canonical feelings or pairings will be represented. I don't agree with infidelity and I won't write it. I also just really don't like the idea of writing unrequited love using my fav characters😞
I need to stop writing so many personal notes in my work but some characters just make me feel so feral that i need a breather ANYWAY
How fairytail characters flirt with you and how they react to being flirted with.
Natsu
When he flirts hes very forward and honest. He's not exactly trying to flirt but his compliments and his actions are all so very earnest. Does all sorts of crazy things just to make you happy and it makes your heart flutter. Will confidently state his interest in you if asked- "Uh yeah? Did I not make that obvious?"
If you're flirting then he can get flustered quite quickly. It's a bit surprising considering his personality but everything about you makes his head spin already, you flirting just makes him feel 10x worse. Reacts especially strongly to subtle flirting, innuedos and stuff, it has him flushing crimson as his brain tries to figure out whether you meant it like that-
Gray
His flirting is smooth and very teasing. Likes that sort of bitey flirting/play fighting, especially loves winning because then he gets to see your pretty flustered demeanour. Backs off quickly though because he doesn't want to make you upset or uncomfortable :(. He loves throwing in slick little comments when nobody is listening and watching your mouth drop in surprise.
You can't keep up with his teasing to be honest, but his weakpoint is sincerity. If you say something sweet and genuine directly to his face then you'll get to see him stutter as his cheeks go a splotchy pink. Interestingly, his blush travels down his chest too.
Loke/Leo

Smooth, confident, never gives you a reprieve from his sweet words. He's not pushy of course, but if he can tell that you like him then you're done for, he just won't let up. He simply refuses to have wasted time when he likes you so much and if you won't admit it then he's going to try and coax it out of you.
If you try to flirt back it makes him worse I'm sorry. Literally the second the sentence is out of your mouth he's in your space, "Oh? How cute. You even managed to make my heart skip a beat" as he places your hand directly on his chest. He has no shame so if you're going to flirt, do it in private.
Lyon
Calculated flirting. He tries different approaches and notices what ones you react to best and combines them so he can use it against you. But he's always touching you, no matter what he's saying or how he's saying it. A hand on the small of your back when walking, thigh to thigh when you sit next to each other, he's just constantly touching you.
He's obsessed when you flirt back. Makes him blush but also makes him feel really confident, the tips of his ears will be practically glowing but he's replying with the most out of pocket shit you've ever heard.
Two international youngsters are produced out of the Chelsea academy.
One goes to Spain and Barcelona. She plays striker.
The other goes to France and Lyon. You play centreback.
It seemed like fate that everyone would consider you rivals but you don't really care about that. You don't put much effort into looking through media articles.
You have better things to do.
"Hey, y/n! Come back here please!"
You huff, peeling off from Damaris and Ellie to head back to Ada and Wendie. You'd been sitting next to them for the whole flight from France to America.
"I don't want you to get lost. Hand, please."
"Come on!" You complain," I'm not as bad as-" You trail off. You don't say her name.
You think she must be a sore spot for the team after the three goals she scored past them in the Champion's League final. You were meant to be on the pitch that day too but during your last training session, you'd hurt your ankle and had to stay in France.
You give Ada your hand.
You live with her most of the time, although frequent sleepovers at Ellie and Daan's were a must. When Ada is stressed about things, you leave her to decompress by hanging out with Wendie, though you have to prepare yourself every time.
Your Papa is French and you've yet to decide what international team you want to play for. Wendie keeps trying to convince you to pick France.
It's kind of funny to see her try to sneak it into every conversation she can when you sleep over at hers.
Either way, Ada walks you through customs before setting you free in baggage collection.
You're off like a shot, eager to stretch your legs as Damaris and Selma race the luggage carts. Vanessa is on Selma's so you clamber onto Damaris' as she gets a run up and pushes you.
Ellie's acting as the ref and she narrows her eyes as both carts come to a stop.
"She's cheating!" You insist as Vanessa drags the cart forward using her hands. "Cheater!"
Ellie closes her eyes. "I don't see anything."
"Oh, come on!"
It's very early in the morning so there's no one else in the luggage claim, just your team.
You kind of assumed with no one else around that the bags would arrive quicker but clearly not.
You get bored of the game rather quickly and return to your older teammates.
Wendie, Ada and now Lindsey too are sitting on the floor, up against the wall as they wait for the bag carousel to start moving. You don't know who brought out the football but they did.
They're not using it though, just rolling it between them as you approach.
"Ellie's not a very good ref," You tell them," She's helping Vanessa and Selma cheat."
"Do you want to play with the ball?" Lindsey asks and you puff out your cheeks.
"I'm not a baby." You plop down next to her and she ruffles your hair.
"No but you don't do well not doing stuff and I know your phone is dead. Do you want the ball or not?"
You mumble something.
She grins, cupping her ear. "What was that?"
You mumble something again.
Ada and Wendie are grinning now too.
"Sorry. I couldn't hear. You'll have to speak a bit louder."
You glare at her and Wendie snatches the ball. "Go stand over there. Volley is back to me."
Wendie is a centreback. You're a centreback too.
You arrived from Chelsea fresh-faced and worried and Wendie decided you were her little project. She'd told you once, a little tipsy during a team bonding session, that you had the most raw talent she'd seen in a while and that she wanted to see you get better and better.
She trained you every second she could.
"Weaker foot this time," She says to you as you volley the ball back to her.
It's still early. The flight was long but you've suddenly got energy again so you can keep up with her coaching even as she gets up. She changes from throwing the ball at you to kicking it so soon you've both got a good volley going as Ada and Lindsey talk to each other.
"I didn't know Barcelona were doing their preseason here," Ada notes," I thought they'd be in Mexico."
You let the ball drop, turning your head automatically to see the Barcelona girls coming into the baggage claim.
You spot her quickly, just like how you usually do. You could spot her in any crowd.
Wendie spots her too, as does Ada. Both of them lay their hands on your shoulders.
She's across the room with Alexia Putellas though, held back by her backpack when she nearly wanders into a pillar because she's focused on eating her snacks.
You go to move but the hands on your shoulder tighten.
"What?"
Ada purses her lips. "Why don't we sit back down?"
It dawns on you then that Ada and Wendie have seen all the articles, all the articles that insist on the 'bitter rivalry' between you and your daydreamer.
"No-" You say with a little laugh," It's not like that. It's-"
A body barrels into you and lips are on yours in an instant.
You kiss your girlfriend back.
"I missed you!" She says and you peak over her shoulder to see Alexia Putellas and Irene Paredes standing there with their mouths wide open.
You laugh, just knowing Ada and Wendie are the same. "I missed you too!"
"It's so cool we're in the same city again! I've been doing my research and there's this really well-reviewed snack place near her that we should go to!" She tugs on your hand and you dig in your heels.
"Slow down, dreamy," You say," We still need to get our bags!"
"But Ale and Irene said I could go if I took someone with me."
You can hear Alexia Putellas sigh and mutter," I meant someone from our team."
Your girlfriend ignores her.
"Ada? Wendie?" You ask tentatively.
Ada sighs. "Take Daan and Ellie with you. We'll get your bags."
"Thank you!"
Your girlfriend sorts out her own escorts in the form of Ingrid Engen and Mapi León and she pulls you out the door.
You can't resist the teasing words you throw over your shoulder at your girlfriend's captain.

however, he can't stop wishing for more. he loves being your friend, but he wants to be so much more! he wants to be able to hold you close, to tell you all the things he's keeping to himself
even when he's around you, he can't stop wishing for more. and then he starts to feel selfish, for not being content with what he already has…
whenever the two of you part ways, lyon's heart aches. even though it can be painful being around you, he's the happiest when he is with you! so being separated from you again just pulls him down and makes him realize how much he needs you
lyon would never even suspect that you like him too! you're too good for him, too sweet and pure… compared to you, he's nothing. he's grateful you're even in his life to begin with!
but it's due to that attitude that doesn't realize that his feelings for you are reciprocated and that you yearn to be with him, just as he years to be with you…

Ohh, a fascinating concept- I don't know about heat per say, but definitely some kind of overwhelming lust brought on by the imbalance of chaotic energy. Or some such appropriate fantasy-setting word salad lmao. Point is, it definitely seems to be implied even in canon that the Demon King claims he'll fulfill the darker desires hidden in Lyon's heart- lust included. So I think it's more that, while possessed, he wouldn't be able to hold back the longing for you that's already been festering inside of him. I imagine, with the help of Fomortiis, he'd also be quite a bit physically stronger than usual, which may be a shock given his slender frame- but imagining being manhandled by that beautiful man in the throes of uncontrolled lust? Oh yeah, that's the good shit.

— Was about to snatch his hand away until he realized how invested you looked while doing this. You’ll catch him staring and he’ll look away quick. He oddly finds himself staring at your hands all day after it. Makes an excuse on why you two should hold hands, just so he can compare yours with his.
Erza
— Secretly gushes over how cute you look as you compare how big Ezra’s hands are to your small ones. When she get caught gushing, she doesn’t make any excuse for it. Instead, she admits how small your hands are to everyone else’s and even pointing at Natsu’s hands as an example. She does enjoy this sweet gesture though.
Lucy
— Started it. It’s somewhat of a ritual between you two and you can’t help but compare your hands out of complete interest. You normally run your fingers over her tattoo and she laughs as you do, “it tickles”. Lucy compares your hands as a sign of comfort. It shows that you two will always stick together in times of need.
Lyon
— Watches in complete interest most of time when you do it. He usually just thinks that you want to hold his hand but when he sees you putting your hand against his, he certainly wants to know what you’re doing. At first thinks it’s some sort of magic, but when he realizes that you’re comparing. He just can’t take his eyes off your actions from then on.
Freed
— Fascination. He even measured how much shorter/taller your hand is than his. He also takes note that you admire his hands for some reason such as when he’s doing magic or just making hand gestures. He does compare your hands from time to time and you’ll find him completely focused on only that and nothing else.
Macbeth
— Somewhat mean about it. He doesn’t really like being touched and he already knows that he is a lot bigger than you. He finds a bit weird but then eventually warms up to it as he can’t help but do it sometimes too. Especially while you are asleep. It’s something that crosses his mind often during late nights. He becomes more open to it and stops swatting your hands away after some time.
Ephraim: helping the summoner open up, “Your happiness comes before mine.”,
Innes: how dense can one summoner be?, the answer is quite a lot,
Joshua: acting as the summoners wingman only to realize they like him too,
Lyon: fallen Lyon “Unfortunately for you, once I had decided your were mine there was nothing you could have done to change your fate”, taking care of the summoner after they overwork themself,

Natsu
When he’s Jealous, he tends to give you the pouty face. Hoping that you’ll pay more attention to him. He also tends to be more touchy freely towards you and would do it in front of whoever he was jealous of. When you poke him and try to make him admit that he was jealous, he outright refuses before blurting it out.
Gray
When he’s jealous, he looks away hoping to get the thought out of his head. But he’ll wear the most annoyed face all day long. Until you get the hint, he’ll look more annoyed by the second. When you poke him saying that he was jealous, he’ll never admit to that.
Lucy
When she’s jealous, she’ll grow hotheaded not at you exactly. She probably won’t speak to you for hours or diss every conversation. She doesn’t want to take anything out on you. When you poke her and say that she’s jealous, she’ll deny the truth for a while and admit it later.
Erza
When she’s jealous, she’ll clench her jaw and look away in slight embarrassment. Although, Erza trusts you enough - she doesn’t trust that person. She’ll act like everything is normal though, probably gives the person a look. If you find out, she’s slightly embarrassed. When you poke her about it, she’ll admit it rather quickly.
Wendy
When she’s jealous, she tends to be more anxious or rushy with people. Just to talk to you or to get your attention. You can tell from the way that she’s talking or from the way she bounces on the toes of her feet that’s she jealous or anxious. When you poke her about it, she blurts it out and then turns a crimson color.
Juvia
When she’s jealous, it’s pretty obvious fo her part. It’s pretty cute too because she makes her jealous known for you. And makes it clear that she wants that person to stay away from you. When you poke her about it, she’s pretty open to it but also blushing like crazy.
Lyon
When he’s jealous, he tends to be more quiet. Slowly studying the situation, he won’t say anything to you about it though. He wouldn’t want you to find out for that matter. When you do find out though, he won’t answer your question about him being jealous. Nor will he admit to it.
Gajeel
When he’s jealous, he’s more observing than ever. He folds his arms across his chest and looks the other direction. Or he’ll stare the person down until you recognize him. When you poke him about being jealous, he’s quick to snap back with a remark.
Macbeth
When he’s jealous, he doesn’t seem to care. He’ll just give the person a nightmare so they’ll stay away. Though, he does seem a little more annoyed with people. When you poke him about being jealous, he’ll just ignore you.
Laxus
When he’s jealous, he tends to be a little colder towards everyone especially you. No, he doesn’t mean it but he can’t help but come off that way. He’ll end conversations pretty quickly with you until you figure out why he’s acting this way. When you find out and poke him about it, he becomes annoyed, wishing you didn’t find out.
Freed
When he’s jealous, he’s just really calm about it on the outside but in the inside he’s more annoyed than ever. He won’t say anything to you or make himself sound off or weird in any sort of way. No, he does not want you to find out..ever. He’ll give the person though the coldest look before looking away. When you do find out, he won’t deny it but won’t answer.
Mirajane
When she’s jealous, she’ll typically frown a lot. She’ll try to hide it but it usually doesn’t work because she’s doing it so often around you. So when you do find out, she’s more embarrassed than ever. She’ll try to apologize for feeling that way though but she couldn’t help it.
