some stray observations about episode 5 of x-men 97 because I watched it a week late:

that was the best Kurt I've seen, live action or animated. exactly matches up with what I imagine when I read the comics.

holy shit I can't believe they had an ALISA TAGER AKA CIPHER CAMEO. they've all but forgotten her in the comics but her character and skill set have soooo much potential.

this was probably the best depiction of the Genoshan genocide, including the comics. if I'm not mistaken I think that was the first time we saw the attack happen on the ground. the genocide never was really felt deeply in the comics, not as much as Decimation, and this is arguably worse

they BETTER add Emma to the roster, and they better pull her out of the rubble, diamond-shiny and all!!!

I wish we had seen more about the de-powered mutant kids post M-Day. Did any of them make it home? Did any of them try and fit themselves back into the lives that rejected them? We’re any of them let back into families that had thrown them out? Were they forced to live with people they knew for a fact loved them conditionally?

Magic M-Day

I decided to sort my ocs into Hogwarts Houses via the Pottermore Quiz. This was alot of fun! Alex: Hufflepuff Positive Traits: Kindness, and loyalty. Negitive Traits: Naive and self-sacrificing. My Thoughts: Alex is a definate hufflepuff! She kind to a fault, honesty and loyalty are very important for her. She is willing to put others before herself without a moment of hesitation but that can lead to herself getting hurt. --- Claire: Gryffindor Positive: Traits: Bravery, chivalry, and daring. Negitive Traits: Reckless and short tempered. My Thoughts: Claire is smart but her bold and fearless nature comes out when trouble is around. She does have a temper and can hold grudges if not treated well. --- Clyde: Slytherin Common Traits: Determination, ambition, and cunning. Negitive Traits: Narcissistic and perfectionist. My Thoughts I was a little surprized thinking Clyde would be a Ravenclaw, but his attitude and cleverness fits Slytherin to the T. He does have an ego and is willing to leave someone behind if it means saving own hide. --- Jula: Slytherin Positive Traits: Determination, ambition, and cunning. Negitive Traits: Narcissistic and perfectionist. My Thoughts: Jula thrives on her goals being completed the way she wants. She knows how to twist words and situations in her favor. However she is a bit vain and when things go wrong she gets pissed.
