So, Mabel's alluded to be bisexual. I'm gonna be honest, I personally do not see Pacifica as Mabel's type. And yes, I may be biased, and that I see her more with Candy.
Not only because they share a lot of interests together, but also because Candy was there first. I get that people often ignore her, since she isn't as big as a character as the others. Especially after the hype from the finale died down over the few years. But she's still a very interesting character. And I wish her and Grenda's relationship with Mabel and Dipper were explored upon deeper. And heck, maybe with Pacifica. Paz was literally her bully and there should have been an aftermath from that redemption arc.
I understand though that the show only had such limited amount of episodes. Especially concerning Alex's health at that time. They can't explore the other characters in their backstory as much since the overall focus was on the Pines family. That's what's most important and the show delivered well on that end.
But people should give someone like Candy, Grenda, and the others a chance. Pacifica's not the twin's only friend around their age.
