"I want horror lesbians" I say. "Have you seen Bly Manor/Fear Street?" you ask me. Yes I have. I don't want a sweet sapphic love story as a ray of hope in a horror show. I want monstrous women with Hannigram-esque toxic codependency and knife play and blood over their hands. I want women who poison each other and women who haunt each other. I want lesbian monsters and lesbian vampires and lesbian serial killers. I want body horror and grotesque sapphic imagery. I want them sexual and depraved and hungry. Hope this clears it up <3
Required reading for Utena fans.
Slay The Princess (game) - a narrator tells you to slay an imprisoned princess. No matter if she kills you or you kill her, somehow both of you are reborn. Over and over. Each death shapes both of you.
Knights of Guinevere (show) - a big theme park corporation produces sentient princess androids all of whom share a single consciousness. One of them escapes.
Ethel Cain (music project) - a story told over multiple albums about a southern trans gender woman, her travels through the country and some of her afterlife.
The Locked Tomb (book series) - a necromancer and her unqualified cavalier travel away from their dying home planet to answer God’s call and join the saints.
Mabel (fiction podcast) - a live in nurse tries to contact her patient’s grand daughter, as strange things start happening around her.
Mabel, Episode 15 ‘Killing the Moon’
Ivy, ivy, ivy, a King cut from a wall.
(Generally regarded as a Bad Move)
