You stayed silent as you worked vigilantly, not wanting to irritate the wound more as it was. Your eyes would briefly flicker to her eyes, lips, and her nose before focusing back on the wound at hand. It was a nice silent before she broke it.
“You know, I head out tomorrow.”
Your motion abruptly stopped as her words caught you off guard, staring at her with a hint of sadness and disbelief. Quickly finishing patch the wound up, you leaned back as you placed your hands on your hips as a worried expression wore your face, “Maddie, Sweetheart, why didn’t you tell me earlier? Plus, you know how I feel about you doin’ this—what if you get caught?”
Her brows furrowed together as she clenched her jaw, looking at you with a soft expression as her hands came to your waist—pulling you closer to stand between her legs. “Because I knew you would react like this…Don’t be like that, baby. like i can imagine you guys hanging out at her house, your house, fezco's gas station, etc. when you bring it up and she is so good at helping you figure out your thoughts and eventually come to the conclusion that you are non-binary
i doubt that she would be celebrating or throwing a party or anything extravagant when you come out though
she'd probably congratulate you, confirm what your new pronouns were, and then it's business as usual
it's not meant to be rude but i just don't think her perception of you will be altered much, if at all
she probably sees you as a younger sibling and so if somebody uses the wrong pronouns to you i can totally see her stepping in and defending you, especially if you're particularly shy or introverted

"Not exactly. I'm worried that it bothers you." Her hand grabbed your chin suddenly and forced you to make eye contact with her. "Uhm... yes?"
"Do not assume things about me. I rather like knowing that I'll show you the ropes, I'll get to take so many of your firsts won't I?" If she finds out that you haven't been praised much until now she will make sure you know how appreciated you are
Doesn't mind keeping your relationship a secret, a lot of her relationships have been secret
So she is really, really good at sneaking in and out of your room at pretty much any time of night or day
That being said she loves to cuddle after spending a night with you

At first she was a bit scared of really falling for you but since Ambessa's death she was able to accept it more easily
Disturbing how easily she will tell you a random way to kill or torture someone for information
Not that she had to do many of those things herself but she knows about them
Really big on aftercare and pillow talk
Loves kissing you until you're shivering, especially after she overstimulated you before that
Proud of the amount of marks she leaves on you
Will steal your clothes all the time, it's very comfy for her and she knows you like to see her in your clothes

Maddie' gf comforting her because she feels she isn't as great of a fighter as steorotypical Noxians:
Her gf is Noxian too, and though she has no muscle and is/looks too sweet to harm anyone, she can use magic to fight. Sure Maddie is physically strong, but we saw how fast Caitlyn unarmed her and she fell. So she's a bit insecure about her skills. But her gf comforts her by telling her how smart/cunning/manipulative/etc she is and she's a great spy. And she also includes how strong Maddie is for someone of her stature, she just needs more battle training, maybe her gf offers to train with her.
Bonus points if Maddie is trying to seem like she isn't upset by it cus she's good at hiding her emotions.

A/N: Katy Townsend said Maddie is an evil tangerine, I think she's more like an evil cinnamon roll. This is mostly because I think they're tastier.
Nice as it was to have your girlfriend back again she wasn't in the best mood this time around. Ever since she came back she's been pretty down and critical of herself. Where was that smile you were used to? You knew the details of her previous job, and while it was a bit more demanding from a lot of the ones before you didn't think that it's failure would result in this.
You sat down next to Maddie and put your hand on hers, "Still felling bad about the mission?"
"No." She lied. You could easily tell, you always could. Maddie's met yours for a brief moment before she looked down. "Might. Cause it wasn't just that you know? It's also Lady Ambessa... I mean... what happens now?" Maddie got her orders from Ambessa quite often, with great results, which is why she was chosen to go to Piltover and Caitlyn in the first place.
"I'd say you're lucky that her daughter even let you live. She could have killed you, or you could have been put in that prison in Piltover. At least this way you still got that pretty head on your shoulders." You pecked her freckled cheek as you grinned. Usually that would make you smile too.
Maddie huffed as her frown deepened. "I suppose. But... I'll be a while before I get another job, I think. I know for a fact that Mel will keep an eye on me, and I'm not allowed to step foot in Piltover ever again, or else Caitlyn will probably shoot me on sight. I just can't believe this... and things were going so well too!"
By her tone she was both offended and angry that her mission went sideways. Maddie took a lot of pride in her almost perfect mission score, for a Noxian that meant a lot. Especially when it was one of the only things most valued her for.
"On top of Lady Ambessa dying, getting what's basically a restraining order, being watched constantly, I also got elbowed in the face! I think that was the most embarrassing part, I went down so easily after that. Like a weakling." Rants like that were common nowadays.
"I don't think you are. If you were Ambessa never would have picked you for such an important task." You brushed her hair out of her face.
She looked at you, her facial expression darkened and doubtful. You pulled her into a slow kiss, your arms around her shoulders, pulled her body against yours, your legs at either side of her hips. Maddie whined when she felt you bite her bottom lip and grin as you pulled away.
"Fighting was never one of your stronger suits, we both know that. So don't give yourself shit over a punch or two, you did your job right? More than well enough." You cupped Maddie's cheek softly, making her eyes widen at the soft touch, "And like I said, you're alive, you're here, you're back with me. Everything else will sort itself out eventually, it always did."
