There was a prison break on the main island close to Griffin Rock. The culprit? One of the convicts of the prison, her name? Madeline Pynch.

When the scene of escape was being investigated, on one of the walls there was something written: ¨Deer... I'm coming home¨ with a kiss at the end.

It is still unknown how Madeline gained the tools to break the walls and disable the cameras of the prison, the only clue is the footage of an unidentified van that acced it the facility a day before the break. The investigation is still going on, and the search for her as well.

Gunmar and Bular

One of the things I liked the most of Trollhunters is how Gunmar never sees Bular like a burden or a brute, he loves him and cared a lot about him, Bular was Gunmar’s pride AND HOLY SHIT I LOVE THAT, because since the beginning you are told that indeed Bular was very much wanted and loved and that man regrets nothing AND THE TROLLHUNTER KILLS HIM, NAH AH! I loved that

Garmadon and Lloyd

This is in the list not because is good but because IS SO FUCKING FUNNY! (I’ll talk from movie’s perspective, I forgot the series perspective)

Garmadon is literally evil itself and an asshole and actually wasn’t even in Lloyd’s life, he was just there shitting around and Lloyd tried to solve his shit because he is a ninja, the green ninja, he must solve that shit. Garmadon since the beginning wasn’t ready to be a father and left that very much clear because indeed, he doesn’t call his son EXCEPT BY ACCIDENT which is shit but also very much cool because is something I hate of certain villians

WHY DO YOU HAVE A SON/DAUGHTER IF YOU DON’T EVEN CARE ABOUT IT?! I HATE WHEN MOVIES DOES THAT!

Garmadon’s response: he wasn’t ready and prefered not be part of it EVEN THAT IS MORE REALISTIC AND BEAUTIFUL BECAUSE BOTH ENDED UP BONDING A LOT IN THE MOVIE AND THAT’S COOL AS HECK

How I HATE THAT WOMAN HOLY SHIT- they’re the literal reason why I definitely think this trope is only for the smart and the brave, the way they act is SOOOO SHITTY, LIKE, MADELINE DOESN’T EVEN SEEMS TO SHOW ACTUAL LOVE TO PRISCILLA, SHE JUST GIVES HER MONEY AND THAT’S ALL! HOW I HATE MADELINE! She’s a terrible mother and it seems like she does it on purpose, like, WHY DO YOU EVEN HAVE A KID IF YOU WILL NOT RAISE THEM?! and is not even like she had to stay with her NO, IF MADELINE WAS DIVORCED, PRISCILLA COULD BE WITH HER DAD OR MADELINE WOULD HAVE PERFECTLY GIVE HER AWAY IN AN ORPHANAGE BUT NOOOO, I don’t like these two (and yet that tells so much of their lives and perspectives of life)

Viren, Soren and Claudia

These three will be my end because VIREN SON OF A BITCH YOU’RE SUCH A TERRIBLE FATHER AND AI HATE YOU FOR THAT!

I mean, is human to make mistakes, BUT TO PUT THOSE MISTAKES IN YOUR 4 YEAR OLD SON AND FUEL HIS INSECURITIES FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE JUST BECAUSE YOUR WIFE LEFT YOU FOR THINGS YOU DID?!?! i hate him jesus christ, and the writers were smart for that. Soren is a cutie and Claudia is smart, and both ended up becoming what his father made them and that kills me because Claudia ended up being so fucked up MAN! THAT’S YOUR DISABLES DAUGHTER CRYING IN THE FLOOR FOR YOU, TURN AROUND AND AT LEAST HUG HER AND TAKE HER WITH YOU PIECE OF SHIT! AND THEN HE JUST LIED TO SOREN INSTEAD OF TELLING HIM THE TRUTH?! FUCK YOU AND ALWAYS FUCK YOU SON OF A BITCH YOU- AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Aaravos and Leola

Best villian arc ever, i mean, “i became bad because the fucking space police killed my disabled daughter for the cosmic order” is 10/10 and is even better when you saw the teaser and HE WANTS TO COME BACK JUST FOR CLAUDIA BECAUSE HE KNOWS SHE WAITS FOR HIM AHHHHHHHHHH- father of the year, making his daughter the queen of the world of dark magic but compared to Viren, does it on purpose and is proud of it and helps her on her plans because she did the same for him and it started as manipulation that became pure emotion and love and AHHHHHHHHHHHHH- Aaravos remembers his baby girl with lots of love but right now has a another girl that actually needs him and that is alive and I love that

Regina and Henry

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, desired maternity my beloved, I mean, WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU TOOK AN ELIXIR TO GET YOU COMPLETELY INCAPABLE OF HAVING KIDS JUST TO MESS WITH THE WORD AND YET DECIDED TO ADOPT A BABY BEING AN ALONE WOMEN WITH POWER AND LOVED HIM AND TREATED HIM LIKE A KING BUT TAUGHT HIM RESPONSIBILITY DESPITE HE HATED YOU BECAUSE HE KNEW THE TRUTH AND YET YOU WERE FOR HIM AND TOOK CARE OF HIM NO MATTER HOW MUCH HE PREFERRED HIS BIO MOTHER AUSKAJSKSJAJKSHAKSHAKSA AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

They’re going to make me cry, she became a mother by pure choice despite being “pure evil” and yet became happy with it and love couldn’t make her happier is the literal definition of “love can come in many ways” I love those two

Also, being bad because of generational trauma and yet almost by accident making your son that way believing everything is different and that’s not true is so fucked up it’s not even funny but so good, love this two

Gothel, Rapunzel and Cassandra

Still can’t understand why Gothel decided to keep Cassandra BUT THEN LEAVING HER WHEN SHE GOT SOMETHING BETTER LIKE RAPUNZEL AND ETERNAL YOUTH?! that asshole deserves hellfire and so much more, but the dynamic is incredible, she loves Rapunzel’s power and yet Rapunzel loves HER because she knows no better and then Cassandra left aside the equation because Gothel never cared of her? Absolute cinema, not a fan of this series but I’m a fan of how this three-relationship ended up

Frollo and Quasimodo

I HOPE YOU’RE DYING IN HELLFIRE PIECE OF SHIT!

What do you mean you took a child under your care JUST TO TREAT HIM LIKE HE’S USELESS, A PIECE OF SCUM AND BASICALLY ABUSE MENTALLY OF HIM JUST BECAUSE YOU FELT THE BURDEN OF KILLING HIS MOTHER BY ACCIDENT?! (not so much accident tho) JUST BECAUSE GOD WAS JUDGING?!?!?!?! GOD JUDGES YOU EVERY FUCKING DAY AND YOU STILL DON’T SEE IT?!?!?!?!?!? You ASSHOLE!!!!

Love to hate a good villain, definitely paternity and motherhood are the best way of telling if someone is actually bad or not

Indeed, Villain father/mother can come in many many ways and I love that so fucking much because- what do you mean there’s lots of way of telling about someone if it’s bad or not? I mean, if Gunmar was presented as a father instead of a tyranical chief he could have been introduced as a father teaching his son how he should rule in the future (which is cursed and fucked up, that’s how you tell he’s a good father and a terrible person), or like Viren and Soren who are father and son but Viren has so much resentment he decided to put it on his OWN SON WHO IS AN ETERNAL SUNSHINE! (that’s how you tell he’s a bad father and maybe a bad person), or make your villain an actual mother who cares for her son despite everything, who loved him and took him by the hand to cross the street despite having the whole town under a terrible spell and fear (Regina, you’re a kind of traumatized mother but you’re doing the best and that’s incredibly cute, I love that) or even presenting the father who lost his daughter (Aaravos my man) or even a father who lost his connection with his own son (Garmadon) or maybe a mother or father that never cared of their children and just used them or doesn’t even desired them (Madeline, Frollo and Gothel)

I mean, gosh, there’s so much potential in this trope, and despite I love the villain adoptive father/hero son in law (like Strickler and Jim) I think there’s even more hidden potential in the blood vs bound type of relationships, of how blood helps form those bounds, how sometimes it doesn’t work, how sometimes they’re built up without blood and sometimes how they can easily be broken by lies

Love me a good story of a villain mother/father and their beloved children, no matter if the mother/father is actually good or bad
