Last night, the 2017 NCAA champions were crowned. The Gonzaga Bulldog were fired up for their first chance to compete in a national title game, while the seasoned North Carolina Tar Heels hoped to add a 6th NCAA championship title to their school’s legacy. The Tar Heels last national title was in 2009 when they defeated Michigan State 89-72. At 9:20 p.m., the two remaining teams walked onto the court of the University of Pheonix Stadium for what could be a life-changing game for many, depending on the outcome.
