Mae Sariang
Today we rode to Mae Sariang: a little town at the southern tip of the Mae Hong Son loop.
James says we were faster today because the road was flatter and less challenging, and definitely not because I was riding in front ;)
Regardless, we made great time, and had the afternoon to explore the town.
There was this perfect lookout for watching the sun set over the mountains.
This province is cheap even compared to the rest of Thailand. Our room at this fun little hotel is $40 a night and includes breakfast. And great internet! It seems that even the most remote towns still have great internet.
Tomorrow, we'll complete the loop by riding "home" to the condo in Chiang Mai. How quickly a place starts to feel like home.
